CHAPTER 385: CHAPTER 73 THE JOYOUS EVENT OF THE THREE PURE ONES (PART 2)

"Boom boom boom!!"

A sudden burst of three thunderous sounds echoed across the desolate East Kunlun Mountain, as multicolored clouds surged around, dispersing thousands of auspicious qi and a riot of dazzling radiant lights, transforming into countless fireworks that showered across the sky!

At this moment, Kunlun Mountain was exceptionally lively. Not only was the plaza in front of the Three Pure Ones Hall packed, but even the temporarily arranged small venues were filled with various forces coming to extend their congratulations.

The leaders of these forces were at least of the strength of the Daluo Golden Immortal Peak. Naturally, these wielders of Great Divine Power also brought along several disciples or subordinates to witness the world.

The grand wedding of the disciples from the Chan and Jie Sects was neither small nor grand for the land of Huaxia Divine Land. After all, the union of the three as one, combining two families just meant intimacy on top of intimacy, and could not change the existing patterns of Huaxia. However, these two were Saint Disciples, so they could not be slighted.

Thus, over the past decades, East Kunlun Mountain had been arranged with countless Innate Spiritual Trees and various rare and exotic treasures, crystal palaces, and jade towers. Originally already picturesque like an Immortal Realm, East Kunlun Mountain was now even more fantastically beautiful, comparable to Penglai Immortal Island.

The entire area of East Kunlun Mountain spanning a hundred million miles had been forcefully isolated by Tongtian using Great Divine Power, forming an independent space where several Spiritual Springs spouted, with faint seven-colored mist drifting in the void, flickering with brilliant splendor.

Adorable little creatures played and frolicked in the small plazas of the distant mountains, exhaling and absorbing the abundant spiritual energy of Heaven and Earth.

Laozi, Primordial, and Tongtian were seated inside the Three Pure Ones Hall, alongside them were Minghe, Zhen Yuanzi, and Nuwa who had arrived early.

"Two Fellow Daoists, your disciples’ wedding is indeed a joyous occasion. Aren’t you going to express something?" Zhen Yuanzi teasingly looked at Primordial and Tongtian, his words carrying a hint of banter.

"Express, what to express?" Tongtian replied to Zhen Yuanzi with a smile.

Minghe laughed loudly and said, "Zhen Yuan wants you to bleed heavily this time!"

"Heh heh, whether we bleed or not, you’ll know soon!" Tongtian retorted, lifting the tea cup in his hand and draining it in one gulp.

"This Tongtian, still playing coy!" Zhen Yuanzi and Minghe exchanged glances and shook their heads simultaneously.

"Heavenly Court, Emperor Xuanqiong of the Jade Palace accompanied by Yaochi Golden Mother arrive!"

Suddenly, a resonant announcement came from the foothills of East Kunlun.

"Hehe, this Hao Tian is really well-informed!" Primordial chuckled.

"These old demons who have survived since the Dragon Han Calamity, which one of them isn’t shrewd? What can be hidden from them?" Tongtian spoke disdainfully.

"Alright, guests who have traveled far are guests indeed, there’s no reason to turn them away!" Primordial patted Tongtian’s shoulder and said, "Duo Bao is good at social interactions, tell him to go down and welcome these distinguished guests!"

Tongtian nodded slightly, casually formed a Seal Technique with his hand and flicked it into the void, speaking into the air, "Duo Bao, quickly go down the mountain to welcome the forces from all over Huaxia Land!"

Duo Bao, who was excitedly sitting on the Dragon Phoenix Chariot, suddenly heard this sound and his face just fell.

"You all go to the Three Pure Ones Hall, the master orders me to go down the mountain to welcome the guests. I’ll go first!" Without further ado, Duo Bao, with a dark face, transformed into a stream of light rushing down the mountain.

Moments later, he was approaching the foot of the mountain.

"Ha ha ha, Emperor Hao Tian busy with so many affairs, yet personally attending my younger female apprentice’s wedding, truly a great honor!" Duo Bao squinted his small eyes, sizing up Hao Tian, his words filled with courteous phrases.

"Fellow Daoist Duo Bao is polite!" Hao Tian gave a salutation to Duo Bao and said, "A grand wedding of Saint Disciples, how could I not attend? Hehe, this is a little gift, please accept it!"

With those words, Hao Tian had a servant bring forward a tray, perfectly squared and only half a foot in size, covered with a large red cloud silk handkerchief, underneath which a golden light faintly shimmered.

"Sss, is this, Star Essence?" Duo Bao curiously lifted a corner of the cloud silk handkerchief, and a dazzling burst of golden light exploded from beneath the handkerchief, nearly blinding Duo Bao’s eyes.

Star Essence, formed from massive constant stars above the starscape, condensed by eons of star power. When the Essence is formed, the constant star perishes. It’s a Supreme Treasure for cultivating the Primordial Spirit and comprehending the Heavenly Dao Laws.

Such a heaven-defying Supreme Treasure is hard to come by, stirring storms of blood and violence each time it appears. Ordinary beings getting even a speck of it are favored by the Heavenly Dao, yet here was a fist-sized piece, only possible by the Heavenly Court which controls the starry void.

Duo Bao’s smile was so wide his eyes vanished, and with one hand gesturing, he spoke, "Emperor Hao Tian and Queen Mother, please come inside quickly!"

"Alright! We shall head there ourselves!" Hao Tian and the Queen Mother nodded slightly to Duo Bao, and after having the servants pass the gift to the disciples beside Duo Bao, they headed towards the summit of Kunlun Mountain.

Just at this moment, from not far away another announcement was heard: "East Sea Dragon King Aoguang, South Sea Dragon King... have arrived!"

Duo Bao glanced up and, oh, truly!

The Four Sea Dragon Kings, each with their disciples and nephews, emerged from the horizon not far away. They did not ride the clouds, but chose to walk, as a mark of respect for the Saint.

Duo Bao hurriedly jogged forward, saluting, "Four esteemed Dragon Kings, how have you been?"

"Hahaha, Fellow Daoist, you’re too kind! We are uninvited, so please don’t hold it against us!" The East Sea Dragon King Aoguang stepped forward and bowed deeply to Duobao.

"How could I? I’m overjoyed that the Four Sea Dragon Kings could attend. My sister and brother disciples are thrilled!"

"Please accept these gifts, Fellow Daoist!" Aoguang clapped his hands, and a handsome young man emerged from the ranks behind him.

With a flash of light in his hands, a massive chest appeared, five feet tall and about ten feet long.

"Fellow Daoist, this is a small token from the Four Seas Dragon Clan, please convey it to Yu Ding and Jin Ling!" Aoguang slapped the chest lid, and a brilliant light burst forth. One by one, Spiritual Treasures emitting powerful Mana fluctuations appeared in front of Duobao.

"Wow, what a generous gift!"

The people gathered at Kunlun Mountain gasped in unison, each internally exclaiming: "The Dragon Clan, indeed an ancient clan since the beginning of Heaven, truly has a profound heritage and great wealth!"

"Such a generous gift has indeed put Fellow Daoist to much expense! Please, come inside!" By now, Duobao was much more composed.

He had become numb to it all, first the extraordinarily luxurious Innate Spiritual Treasure Dragon Phoenix Chariot and then the heaven-defying cultivation treasure, Star Essence. With so many treasures stimulating him, Duobao’s heart could now withstand even greater surprises.

"Fellow Daoist, please make yourself at home, we will head up on our own!" The Four Sea Dragon Kings, along with a group of the Demon Race clansmen, nodded slightly to Duobao and proceeded upward.

"Phew! This cursed Yu Ding, it’s his wedding after all, yet he has me greeting and sending off guests. Watch how I’ll deal with you later!" Duobao grumbled to himself, exhaling a breath of frustration and sitting down heavily on a large cyan stone at the foot of the mountain.

After an indeterminate period, as the sun gradually climbed high into the sky and the time for the ceremony neared, Duobao figured no one else would arrive and turned to head towards the Three Pure Ones Hall.

But just as he reached halfway up the mountain, the sounds of announcement rose again from below: "The Western Guide Saint has arrived!"

"Damn it, why now of all times? Unlucky, just unlucky!" Duobao muttered in discontent, reluctantly turning back to the foot of the mountain.

"Jie Sect Duobao Taoist greets the Guide Saint. May the Saint live forever!" Upon seeing the sorrowful expression on the Guide’s face, even though Duobao was reluctant, he still had to bow respectfully. After all, the Guide was a Saint.

"Amitabha Buddha! You are too kind, Fellow Daoist!" The Guide calmly received the bow, gesturing a Buddha’s greeting with one hand.

"The ceremony is about to start, please follow me up the mountain quickly!" Duobao, having less patience with the West, briskly left the message and vanished with a few leaps.

The mournful-faced Guide silently followed closely behind.

At the summit stood Yu Ding and Jin Ling, nervously dressed in bright red ceremonial robes, their faces showing traces of happiness.

The entire square was round in shape, with the Three Pure Ones sitting on padded seats in the east.

To the left sat Netherworld River, Zhen Yuanzi, and Nuwa near Tongtian, while to the right were Houtu, the Guide, and Hao Tian, also near Tongtian. Further back were figures like Shui Yuanzi leading the Four Extremes Spirits, Taiyi and Chang Xi representing the Demon Race, and Cui Yu, the Judge from the Earthly Palace...

The square was bustling and lively!

As the chief officiator of the wedding, Daoist Xuan Dou also donned a bright red ceremonial robe and stood by Tongtian’s side, waiting quietly.

Looking up at the sky, Laozi nodded to Xuan Dou.

Seeing Laozi’s nod, Xuan Dou promptly declared: "The auspicious hour has arrived, let the ceremony begin!"

"Boom!"

Thousands of auspicious airs soared, and from the high sky colorful clouds cascaded down.

Simultaneously, a crack was torn open in the small space of East Kunlun Mountain, and through it squeezed a chariot almost identical to Yu Ding’s Dragon Phoenix Chariot, followed by a lengthy procession. All were dressed in brocaded garments, adorned with bright red.

"What’s going on here?"

The guests were utterly confused. What on earth was happening? Why was another wedding procession appearing?

Looking closely, they recognized the two exotic beasts pulling the Dragon Phoenix Chariot.

One exotic beast was resplendent with colorful feathers, elegant in shape, with a chicken’s head, a swan’s jaw, a snake’s neck, eagle claws, and tortoise back. While resembling a Phoenix, what distinguished it was the long, fan-shaped tail feathers twinkling with brilliant light.

The other beast was clad in golden yellow, its proud and fierce eyes sparkling, matched with sharp, hook-shaped bills and strong long legs, exuding a powerful sense of strength.

"Kong Xuan, Golden Peng?" Guang Chengzi, a frequent visitor to Penglai Island pillaging its resources, gazed in shock at the beasts in the sky. Instantly, his face twisted viciously, unleashing boundless killing intent.

A cold voice emerged from Guang Chengzi: "Who dares use my junior nephews as mounts? They’re courting death!" (To be continued.
