The Forbidden Heiress At The All Male Alpha Academy
Chapter 21: The Scent Of Wild Jasmine
CHAPTER 21: THE SCENT OF WILD JASMINE
Seraphina was fast asleep, and she wasn’t waking up no matter how hard Theo tried to call her. Seraphina did say she would revert back to her regular face whenever she was fast asleep, but she wasn’t asleep yet.
Although it was so surprising that it happened. It was past midnight, and Seraphina was probably too weak to keep the disguise on.
Theodora stayed put. She wasn’t sure breathing was even allowed in this... scandalous position. Her face was pressed against his chest, and his engulfing heat was all over her. She could hear the steady beat of his heart against her rampant one, and then...this scent.
Oh! His scent.
Breathing in his scent should be an unforgivable sin, but damn, she wouldn’t mind.
He stirred occasionally, and his grip would tighten even more. She was so scared he would open his eyes and see her face, or feel something soft pressing against his chest.
And the Zeke she knew, would not hesitate to blackmail her about it.
She looked up at his face, and her thoughts shifted to his looks. Even asleep, he still gave off that dangerous aura, and she gazed at his thick, muscular neck riding up to his sculptured face.
She stopped at his lips, and she bit hers. His lower lip was fuller than the upper one, and they were a little rough, but still, perfect.
She trailed further up to his closed eyes and stared at his lashes.
She almost gasped. Why were they longer than hers? That was unfair.
And then, his hair. They appeared rough, scattered, in a way that made her want to dishevel them up even more with her fingers.
And then, there was this warmth that encircled their closeness. It was the kind that made her heart race and her soul calm in the oddest ways, and her tense shoulders slumped instinctively as she kept staring at him.
She wanted to sleep. Her eyes were fluttering close.
Hopefully, Seraphina would awaken before he did.
.
.
.
The windows were still open, and the afternoon sun streamed in, lighting up the walls and ground. The faint noise of wolves in training drifted in, and then Zeke stirred from his sleep.
His eyes fell open to the silence of the room, and he remained like that for a few seconds.
It was peaceful, and he didn’t wake up with a pounding headache today. Plus, there was no unbearable ringing in his ears.
Just then, that weird mixture of pine and wild jasmine flew into his lungs. But unlike before when the scent of pine overshadowed that of Jasmine, this time...the scent of wild jasmine...dominated.
Hellcat’s Scent.
He then heard soft breathing next to him, and the remnants of sleep fled his eyes as he looked down.
Thaddeus was right there, his face pressed against his chest. How on earth did he?
Before the anger could fully hit him, he shifted his gaze from Thaddeus and it stopped at his hands. His arms that were... cradling Thaddeus against his chest as tightly as he could, like he didn’t want to let go. And even now that he was staring, subconsciously, he was still holding on tightly.
A funny feeling spread over his chest.
"What the actual fuck?!" He yelped, yanking his arms off the other guy and rolling off the bed the next instant.
Theo’s eyes jumped open the moment she heard his furious tone, and she reached out and grabbed the duvet, instantly wrapping it around her body and rolling off the bed as well.
She didn’t need to check to know that she hadn’t reverted back.
She hit the ground at the other side of the bed, and rolled into a ball, hiding inside the duvet.
*Seraphina!!* She screamed, her heart thrumming hard, *You need to wake up right now! Seraphina!*
"What are you doing?" Zeke asked.
He was already standing in front of her.
She stood up, still inside the duvet, "What?"
His eyes narrowed, "Why do you sound so guilty?"
She gripped the wraps tighter, "I didn’t do anything wrong, now go away!" She took a step back.
He took two steps forward, "Why are you covering yourself up? Are you hiding something?"
Theo looked down at her chest, which was still very, very obvious, then back up, "And what does any of what I’m doing have to do with you?"
He tilted his head, "Then give me back my duvet, now!" He snarled.
She bit her lips, "No,"
"Why?"
"B... because...," She had to think, she had to think fast, "Because it’s dirty and I need to wash it!"
"Huh?" He sounded confused.
"Because I jerked off last night watching you sleep and I didn’t clean up,"
Silence.
She couldn’t even hear him breathing anymore.
That was what she needed. She quickly ran into the bathroom and locked herself inside, before throwing the duvet off.
She leaned against the door and slapped her forehead. Why on earth did she say that?
She jerked off on his duvet? That’s the most... She would never be able to stare him in the eye again, and Zeke would choke her to death the second she steps out of here!
*Seraphina!* She cried out again, *You need to wake up, now. Please,*
Silence. Was she still asleep?
*I don’t think I can last much longer without you, please* she cried even harder.
Just then, she heard rushed footsteps coming over and then Zeke’s fists began pounding against the door, "Hellcat!" And he sounded very, very angry.
*Seraphina!!!*
"Open this door before I break everything down!"
*Oh God, I’m dead. I’m so dead!*
The pounding came again, rattling her back too. The hinges vibrated under the hit, threatening to come off anytime.
Theodor was in full-blown panic. She thought she might even have a panic attack, and she could already see herself either yielding to Zeke’s demands and taking off the pendant or being cuffed with pure silver and transported back to the Vanguard Pack, where her father and Cain would be waiting.
Neither way was an option!
*Seraphina!!!* She bawled again, actually tears prickling her eyes.
Just then, she felt her tired wolf stir inside of her and her body began to change back. Her breasts disappeared back into a flatter chest, and her facial features tweaked.
*Thank you, thank you, thank you!* Theodora cried with all her heart.
*Ugh!* Seraphina could still barely move, *I can’t...,* Her voice died off.
She had fallen asleep again.
"I won’t repeat myself again!" Zeke roared behind the door.
Theodora held the duvet in one hand, drew in a deep breath and then opened the door to face the angry bad boy.
