Levi was already struggling to accept evolution after enduring a similar wave of agony. Now, being told he’d be assaulted by random heat and cold flares? It pushed him closer to giving up on this approach entirely.

It was understandable... Those flares could happen during a critical moment in a battle or such, putting him in a dangerous position. It wasn’t even about pain, but its hidden danger.

"Don’t worry, the early flares occur mostly during your sleep," Ash’Kral said calmly, "And they won’t be that painful, just irritating... at least, in the first rank."

"Still, is there any other upside to this?"

"Of course, you will introduce your body to them much earlier on, toughening you for the real ones to come. In addition, this approach will give you the chance to control the roots of the Void and Sun seeds once they sprout. You can then choose how you want to kick off the Three Body Problem race."

"Race?"

"Well, you will be racing against it. Will it kill you first from pain, or will you find a solution for it once and for all?"

Levi didn’t expect that his free trial to the Three Body Problem was about to expire. But, he could only steel his heart and chose to commit, understanding that there was no escaping from the Three Body Problem. If so, he might as well begin early on to get used to whatever comes from it.

Levi refocused on the second row at the bottom, and without further ado, he picked one random leaf.

Then, he turned it around and was startled to see a long paragraph this time.

"This..." Levi’s mouth was left wide open in a daze.

"Oh, this is a decent one," Ash’Kral praised with a tint of nostalgia, "It has been one of my go-to abilities to deal with large numbers of mobs."

The moment Levi heard this, he swiftly tapped the leaf on his forehead and absorbed all the knowledge... When he was done, a wide grin took form.

"The challenging Burrow has just become a playground for me."

Lord Idriss, Madam Naima, Sir Alaric, Feng Ling, Shia, and the millions of viewers across the region all had their stunned eyes affixed on Levi.

"It looks like a field-based sound ability," Feng Ling murmured, taking a hit of his cigarette.

Although he couldn’t hear the frequencies, he was extremely sensitive to wind disturbance. He could tell that Levi was surrounded by a field of frequencies or something like that.

"His abilities seem a bit too good," Mao remarked, "His nightcrawler must have been a powerful entity in his peak."

The two traded silent glances for a moment before ending it with a chuckle... No way, they thought simultaneously.

They still hadn’t forgotten about Ash’Kral, but no way in hell they would believe that he decided to sign Levi... A monster like him had better things to do than link his life and death with a blind child.

Soon, Feng Ling turned off the stream, realizing that Levi had it covered... Then, he called Lord Idriss to check with him on a private matter.

After the call ended, Lord Idriss refocused on the stream, watching as Levi left behind him a sea of corpses, without lifting his weapon once.

Nurah and Jojo were also startled, having no idea what they were watching.

Levi hadn’t told them about his ability, but just that he would deal with the Queen and the army near its gate. All they had to do was support him by keeping the number of ants as low as possible.

Unbeknownst to them, an invisible, silent field of deadly frequencies was raging around him... Levi and other sound elementalists were the only ones capable of seeing it active.

In Levi’s auditory vision, thousands of sharp, knife-like, colorful frequencies were slicing everything inside the domain, leaving the ants incapable of moving an inch.

If they stayed for more than a few seconds, resonant neuro-collapse happened, and their organs ruptured from the inside.

While this ability was busted, it also devoured an immense amount of solar energy to maintain it. Levi could feel his reservoir emptying at a terrifying speed, his current rank incapable of supporting it.

Thus, the moment he reached the dark tunnel, which served as a Stygian Gate, he pulled out his staff and calculated the distance between him and the Queen.

Sensing his cold-blooded eyes affixed on it, Nyxformis Queen released a high dose of pheromones, spreading it swiftly outside of the Shadow dimension and into the nest.

The moment the ant soldiers smelled it, their eyes turned crimson, and they switched their eyes to Levi!

All of them!

Nurah and Jojo were left taken aback at the sight of the entire army ignoring them completely and rushing towards Levi from every direction.

There were so many of them, they started walking above each other, creating a giant tsunami of ants flooding Levi’s position!

Without bothering to turn his head, Levi merely snapped his finger and enhanced the powers of his Death Chime Field!

"Levi! Be care..."

Thud! Thud! Thud!...

Before Jojo could warn Levi, the rest of her sentence was caught in her throat at the sight of the ants’ tsunami crushing under its weight in an instant after stepping into Levi’s field.

The ants’ organs ruptured immediately, and no matter how many of them went in, the result was the same.

Instructor Seraphis and the viewers were left appalled, feeling like they were staring at the Grim Reaper’s deathly aura, taking the lives of any creature that stepped near him.

Unlike everyone else, Levi was permanently connected to the Shadow dimension.

Nyxformis Queen ant screeched in primal fear as the staff’s crown smashed against its abdomen, bruising it heavily!

-Hold on a sec... Don’t tell me he is beating the Queen cross-dimensionally?-

-This... How?! How can he pinpoint its location without crossing the gate?!-

-Maybe he is just swinging randomly and hoping to hit it?-

Levi pulled back the chained crown and swung again, picking the same spot. Nyxformis Queen tried to stop him by sending out the ant guards near her body, but the moment they exited the Shadow dimension, they joined their brothers and sisters in the ocean of corpses.

Nyxformis Queen Ant could only continue to screech in pain and fear as Levi’s bombardment kept increasing in intensity until...

Her abdomen was blown to pieces, juices flew everywhere, tainting the colorless floating piece of land underneath it.

Yet, Levi didn’t stop.

He retracted the crown again, and this time, it was covered in nasty yellow juices, catching the viewers by surprise.

The clueless citizens about Levi’s condition were left utterly baffled... But the rest? Silence crowned their rooms.

They always considered Levi’s blindness as a disability, a reliability, but as they watched his staff getting covered in more juices each time it came out, this perception was slowly changing for the better.

"When it comes to the Shadow dimension... We are the blind ones," Lord Idriss commented, his eyes carrying a hint of marvel.
