CHAPTER 452: CHAPTER 452 - THE WODONIC TRIBE [ PART 1 ]

The forest girl with a great attitude and no name went inside as I stood, being guarded by five pairs of suspicious, cautious, hatred and curious eyes. And those were just the ones on the ground, I could also feel a few more up on the trees.

These fucking monkeys!

I knew it was going to take long for the girl to come out with the permission slip so I tried to make up conversation... and who better than the guy that had the angriest look of all time.

"Hey, I see you got great biceps there, how do you do to get that?" I made up an extremely random talk.

The guy first stood like a wall with no face before his eyes squeezed slowly and he froze again.

"You’re gonna try to ignore me as well?" I shook my head, "Alright, I’mma try it with someone else then."

I turn around to find the weakest target, but the guy finally talks.

"We don’t want your kind here."

"Hm?" I turn to look at him, "Mind repeating that."

The guy had an angry filled face with restraints as he said, "Your kind doesn’t belong here, this is our home."

"Oh? Is that so?"

"You people, approach our home, threaten us and then make us pay immensely for your own greed." I nod to that, "You think that just because you have more men, you will win?"

"For now that might be the cause... but in the future, when we have a better chief, someone willing to take the matter in hand and drive you Religias posies out of our new land, then you’ll understand what a big mistake it was for you to underestimate us!"

"HO!"

With his word, the guys around him and in the trees chanted loudly.

"Yeah, I understand what you’re saying but, "I slowly inch closer to him, "when you live in a country that is ruled by a sovereign, you generally have to pay that person taxes. But you should be glad that it’s just one person and not a democratic government, those guys say they’re democratic, but they usually screw you over while using various non-understandable reasons to get more money out of you."

"Hey, I hate taxes so I understand your pain, even my name is Tax, how convenient right?" I laugh dryly and place a hand over his shoulder and around the head in a semi-hug.

"Get your hand of-" He tried to shrug it out but I apply force to it which immediately shuts him down. The guy looks at my fingers slowly dig into his body as he tried to keep a straight face.

"But when you start saying your kind doesn’t belong here and that you are superior, it starts to create diversity among us." I apply more force, "And that’s bad for the community."

The guy gritted his teeth as quiet groans threatened to break out of him.

"Yet you’re not wrong, its these primitive people with their educational standards that’s wrong." I point behind the wall, "They say diversify yourself and show your unique traits to gain popularity but that’s shitty talk man, we should love to each other, join together."

The guy looked at me between immense pain and anger and seemed ready to choose defiance.

"But you know what’s really the kicker here?" I force talk into his ear, "It’s that they tell you numbers advantage isn’t factual, that quantity over quality will always win and in some cases that is true."

"Yet that idea debunks when an army of hundred thousand soldiers with decent or even poor quality armor comes knocking at your doors." My warm breath gave him goosebumps, "How many can you kill? One thousand, two thousand, three perhaps... but even those are extremely lucky guesses if not the thousands of arrows, fire barrels or sigmat attacks doesn’t kill you first."

"So what can you do... tell me, will you defy against the almighty powerful sovereigns or do you yield before them and join as a family(slave)?"

The guy was almost shivering in anger, if my fingers didn’t threaten to penetrate his deltoid muscle, he would have swung at me by now. But that couldn’t be said about the multiple bows pointed at me, ready to kill on his order.

I faced him with a big smile as the guy shook and opened his mouth to sa-

"Enough!"

It wasn’t him, but an older voice, weaker.

We both turn towards the already opened wooden door and see an old man with white complexion standing on the help of a long log. I could see him almost shaking as the age and scream took its toll on him.

"Chief!" Everyone took down their bows and kneeled to him. Even the angry tall guy next to me, reluctantly showed respect to him and bowed his head.

"Chief, I... this man is-"

"I don’t want any excuse." The Chief with his weak body, commanded respect, "You tried to dishonor our guest and that would not be tolerated by explanations."

"It will be seen to later." The Chief turned to me with a quiet smile, "Forgive his intrusion."

"Of course, it’s nothing." I laugh and shrug it off, "We were just playfully talking about our views, nothing problematic at all, right?" I turn to him with a grin.

The guy’s teeth had to be strong with all that gritting as he painfully nods, "R- Right."

"Great" I slap his back and almost kill the guy before walking towards the Chief, "I’m honored that the Chief himself came to greet me."

"And I too, for having your presence among us." The Chief bowed deeper and with a slow dramatic wave, put his right hand to his chest.

I look curiously at that before remembering that it was how they respectfully greeted someone. I smile and copy his gesture, "Me as well."

The Chief’s eyes shone for a moment as a hint of approval showed and he turned around, gesturing me to follow, "Come"

I follow him while looking at the friendly forest girl who brought me here. She was standing beside the chief and looked at with some surprise, probably the return gesture.

We walk inside (slowly) as I look around the place.

As I had expected, the place was primordial with a lot of centuries old ways working around. A lot of work with wood and bamboos, huts and wooden houses as home.

I even saw an open toilet with both genders being separated by a single sheet of wood. And that’s not even the banger... there was no toilet paper.

Yet even among the centuries old useless system, I saw a happy community. The atmosphere energetic but peaceful. It would have been even brighter, if not for them looking at me with such intense gazes.

Most of the adults looked at me with hate while the children curious, multiple fingers pointed at my clothes as what they thought was alien.

But I didn’t mind it, especially not when hot mamas with huge jugs wearing nothing but primordial animal furs, looked at me with hate... now that’s just satisfaction for one of my kinks.

"Do not think much of them." The Chief said, "They are merely curious and some... a bit more."

"Yes, a lot are quite eccentric, like someone." I say, my eyes catching the forest girly turning her head around in nonchalance.

"Haha..." The Chief laughed quietly, not wanting to cough out his heart, "She brought you here right? Let me formally introduce you to her."

"This is my Granddaughter, Illythia."
