The thing that infuriated Christopher Carter most was that Jayden Grant and Stellan Aston had secretly contacted President Jennings of Apex several times, clearly intending to bypass Ethan Grant and undertake something independently.

Thus, Ethan Grant’s move against The Aston Family was a pretext to take advantage of the situation, and remind both The Aston Family and Jayden Grant.

"Dad, you’re finally back. Ethan Grant... my brother has suddenly started targeting The Aston Family." Jayden Grant suppressed his anger, not daring to be too unruly in front of Arthur Grant.

"Isn’t it all because of that witch Yvette Aston." Jayden Grant’s face was dark. He had people looking for Yvette Aston for three days, yet she remained hidden, leaving no trace!

She was bold enough to hide; she’d better pray not to be caught by him or Stellan Aston.

"Yvette Aston?" Arthur Grant asked puzzled.

"Stellan Aston caused trouble for Yvette Aston, but somehow Yvette managed to get my brother involved to help her." Jayden Grant’s face was sullen. He clearly knew Ethan Grant wouldn’t target The Aston Family just for a woman.

But he didn’t dare let Arthur Grant know that he and Stellan Aston were secretly approaching President Jennings and had these small maneuvers.

Arthur Grant sneered coldly. "If you don’t tell the truth, I can’t help you."

Arthur Grant knows better than anyone that Ethan Grant wouldn’t oppose The Aston Family just for a woman.

Especially not for a woman like Yvette Aston.

Clearly, Jayden Grant and Stellan Aston weren’t being truthful.

And Yvette Aston was just an excuse Ethan Grant was leveraging.

Jayden Grant paused, nervously glancing at Stellan Aston.

Stellan Aston knew he couldn’t hide it, and spoke in a low voice, "Uncle, Jayden and I undertook a project together, and had business interactions with President Jennings of Apex and several partners. Perhaps Ethan misunderstood... thinking we bypassed him to contact these partners privately."

Arthur Grant’s expression instantly darkened, frowning at Jayden Grant. "Your wings have hardened, not wanting your brother’s constraints?"

"No... Dad, I have my own capabilities, and under his protection, I can never truly show my potential. I only want to achieve results for you to see." Jayden Grant was a bit frantic.

"Then go beg him now, see if he’ll agree." Arthur Grant sneered coldly.

Stellan Aston and Jayden Grant said nothing.

Who is Ethan Grant? His words are final; if begging him worked, would they have secretly contacted Henry Jennings?
