CHAPTER 192: CHAPTER 189- IMMORTAL DAI SHEN’S INHERITANCE

Little Zeel leaped from Yoon-Jae’s hands towards Sol when he came back.

"Why was Mom here?"

"I’m not entirely sure, but she told me Happy Birthday and that I should continue protecting you."

Sol smiled and then rubbed his cheeks against Little Zeel. Little Zeel giggled and tried to push Sol away.

After being affectionate, Sol placed Little Zeel on his head so he could get back to his naps. He was still trying to regulate the Chaotic Aether Energy in his body even now.

After patting Little Zeel to sleep, Sol looked at Yoon-Jae to say something, but saw that he was already staring at him.

"What is it, Brother Yoon-Jae?"

Yoon-Jae seemed to come to, and he shook his head.

"Nothing, Happy Birthday."

Yoon-Jae turned to walk over to where the others were waiting for Cheong-Su and Ji-Hoon to wake from the illusion.

Sol watched as he went, and a thoughtful expression appeared on his face. His brain worked quickly, and he realized what was happening.

"Wait! Is it your Birthday too? Are we Birthday Brothers?!"

Sol suddenly lunged at Yoon-Jae and got him into a chokehold.

"Ack~ Sol get off me!"

"No! Why didn’t you say anything?"

Sol began squeezing the life out of Yoon-Jae while the latter tried to get out of his death grip.

"Damn it. You’re going to kill me, Sol!"

"Ha-ha, maybe."

Sol’s grip tightened, but Yoon-Jae suddenly grabbed Sol’s hand and used his entire body weight to flip him over his shoulder.

With a loud bang, Sol landed on his back.

Somehow, Yoon-Jae had time to carefully grab Little Zeel as Sol was going over his head. He then placed him on the ground off to the side.

Sol laughed and immediately jumped up to tackle Yoon-Jae.

The two boys got into a small tussle, with the result being Yoon-Jae getting firmly put in a headlock, while Sol’s legs were wrapped around his waist.

"I-I concede, now let go."

Yoon-Jae said, tapping Sol’s arm.

Sol grinned before he let go of Yoon-Jae, who slapped his chest and got up.

"Happy Birthday, Brother Yoon-Jae."

Yoon-Jae rubbed his aching throat as he looked down at Sol and said.

"I thought I said to drop the formalities."

"For Brother Yoon-Jae, it feels like a formality, but I feel more comfortable saying Brother Yoon-Jae than just Yoon-Jae."

Yoon-Jae sighed.

"Fine, do what you want. I can see that you didn’t have any older siblings growing up, or else you wouldn’t be so stubborn."

Sol looked at the ceiling of the hall with his arms spread wide as he said.

"I didn’t have any siblings, but I had close friends who treated me like the older brother of the village. We would play like just now every day when I wasn’t training."

As Sol recalled those memories, he couldn’t help but chuckle.

"Ha-ha... Even when I was training, they would try to surprise me."

Sol turned and made himself comfortable on the ground by propping up his chin with his hand.

"You’re talking in the past tense."

Yoon-Jae pointed out this detail, and Sol paused briefly before replying.

"Well, that’s because it’s all in the past. Unless I rescue them, then I’ll never see them again, much less play with them... But to be honest, I don’t even know if they’re still alive."

"Is it the Church from the Western Region?"

Sol looked up at Yoon-Jae and pouted.

"That’s not fair, Brother Yoon-Jae."

"What? Didn’t I say I’ll answer your questions after this?"

"No, I barely know anything about you! Why not just tell me which of the Six Holy Sects you belong to? We have time."

It was Yoon-Jae’s turn to pause and stare at Sol silently. How Sol figured out he came from one of the Holy Sects was a mystery. He was sure no one told him, so he must have figured it out on his own.

But thinking back on Sol’s performance when they were trapped in Su Moon’s Palace, Yoon-Jae guessed this shouldn’t come as a surprise.

RUMBLE!!!

RUMBLE!!!

RUMBLE!!!

The entire palace suddenly began to shake uncontrollably.

"Well, it looks like time is up."

Yoon-Jae said, while Sol immediately leaped up from the ground.

"What’s happening?!"

Heon-Tae yelled as he and the others came running over.

"It’s not the palace that’s shaking, it’s coming from the dimension outside."

Little Abdu said as he came and leaped into Sol’s outstretched hands.

"Fuck, is it the Academy? Are they opening the dimension?!"

Mar-Dule said as he started to hyperventilate.

"If they open it and see that we’re not with our respective groups, questions are going to be raised when we return."

"No, that’s definitely not the biggest issue here."

Yoon-Jae said while shaking his head at Heon-Tae’s words.

Looking at everyone with a solemn expression, he added.

"Think about it, the Multidimensional Teleportation Array suddenly got damaged, and disciples from the Demonic Cult were found to be hiding among disciples of the Academy. What would they think was the cause?"

"That someone is after the Inheritances."

Sol’s answer made everyone feel chills go down their spines.

"Then the first thing they would do is check the Inheritances and see that they’re missing!"

Mar-Dule couldn’t breathe at this point.

Yoon-Jae then said again.

"Wait, do they know that only those with the Inheritances in the Subsidiary Palaces can get Immortal Dai Shen’s Legacy and that only you guys can get those Inheritances?"

"I-We don’t know, maybe Eldest Brother knows."

Heon-Tae said as he looked at Ji-Hoon and Cheong-Su.

However, as everyone was panicking, the little boy picked his ear and said.

"What are you guys talking about? The dimension is shaking because the Grand Formation is choosing Master’s next successor."

"What?!"

Everyone cried out in shock.

"Wait, so this illusory Grand Formation doesn’t just show the source of our Innate talent, but tests us to choose a successor?!"

Yoon-Jae asked as he looked at the boy.

"Huh? Didn’t I tell you that before?"

"This brat! No, you didn’t!"

Yoon-Jae yelled once again.

"Fuck, why are you yelling at me for? Also, I have a name, you know? It’s Jinji."

"*Tsk*... Who cares?"

Jinji glared at Yoon-Jae, but before he could curse at him, Sol chimed in.

"Jinji, I have a question. If the entire dimension is shaking because of Immortal Dai Shen’s Legacy, what is it exactly?"

Jinji glanced at Sol with a weird expression on his face.

"It’s the dimension, isn’t it obvious?"

"..."

Everyone’s eyes widen in shock.

"N-No, wait, what do you mean it’s the dimension? Like, are you talking about the entire dimension itself?"

Mar-Dule asked in a trembling voice.

Jinji looked around at everyone who was looking at him with a shocked expression. He couldn’t understand why they were so surprised.

"What else would Master’s Legacy be if it’s not the dimension he created? He left it for his successor."

Everyone’s hearts started to beat loudly in their chests.

Both anxiety and excitement took over their senses. They couldn’t believe the entire dimension was actually the Inheritance. Of course, they had their guesses, but how would they even think that it was the entire fricking dimension?!

But what was the consequence of something like that? How would the Holy Sects and Great Clans react?
