Paige Sterling replied again, "That’s not how you put it, we weren’t exactly close to begin with."

Austin Xavier stood up abruptly, his face beyond unsightly, "Not close? You’re saying we weren’t close?"

Did all those beautiful memories they shared mean nothing to him alone?

Paige Sterling, "What else? Were we ever that close?"

Austin Xavier was so enraged he couldn’t speak, and at that moment, the door opened, and Julian Hawthorne walked in.

"Wife, I’m back..."

Seeing Austin Xavier in the living room, Julian Hawthorne frowned and then showed a polite smile.

"Mr. Xavier came to the house, why not make a call."

She had been worried about this lately, and now having seen Austin Xavier choke Julian Hawthorne, she was beyond furious.
