CHAPTER 412: GOING TO THE DEMON WORLD

Kai looked down at the unconscious prince, proud of his abilities. He thought that Osiren was a lot cooler than Barry.

Now that everything was taken care of, it was time to bring the continent back under the control of Osiren’s family; however, the demonic energy that was rising into the air didn’t disappear when Kai killed Apophia.

"Hmm. That’s odd." Kai muttered under his breath.

"So, babe, are you ready to bring this adventure to a close?" Gwen asked as she walked over to him.

"Yeah. There are a few more things I have to take care of first, though. But after that, we’ll be on our way."

Kyana walked over to Kai, tugging at his arm slightly. "Actually, there’s something we wish to talk to you about."

"Hmm? What is...it?" Kai looked around, noticing that time had frozen. Reality started to warp, and then, he was transported to the white void room and saw Leo chilling on a chair, eating...nachos?

"Whoa, that’s new. No popcorn this time?"

"Meh, the cournels keep getting stuck in my teeth and it’s really annoying."

"Oh god, yeah, I get that. I stopped eating popcorn because of that. It’s so annoying. Anyway, why am I here? Are you bored or something?"

"Bored? Dude, do you know who I am?" Leo was offended.

"Yeah, the god of the universe that has no friends and lives in this cave all day watching TV."

"Fuck you! You really piss me off, you know that?"

It was natural that Kai would irk him. They were friends before they were father and son. "Absolutely. That’s why I continue to do it."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Anyway, I wanted to tell you something, Father to son."

"Dude, gross. Don’t say that."

"What? I’m your dad."

"Barely."

"Come to daddy!"

"Want me to hit you?"

"Alright, I’ll chill." Leo cleared his throat. "What you plan on doing in the demon world, don’t."

"Hmm? All of a sudden, you are actually interested in what I’m doing?" This was a first. Kai wasn’t expecting Leo to tell him to stop doing what he was doing. Normally, he wouldn’t care or even support Kai, but now, telling him to stop was very out of character.

"Listen. I usually don’t care about what you do in this world, but I just want you to think for yourself, truly, and not with your dick. Taking over the demon world simply because you wanna get laid? That’s pretty low if you ask me."

"Well...yeah, I guess you’re right. To be fair, though, I don’t like that hero system bullshit. I never have."

"And that’s okay. If you want to change the rulers because you don’t like the system, then go for it. But only because of that. You can do whatever you want, act however you want, and feel however you want, but you’re a god, so at least have some dignity."

Kai didn’t know how to feel. He never felt like anything was beneath him and would simply do what he wanted to do regardless of how others felt or would see him. But for his own father to say that he was becoming too much of a simp meant that Kai was probably taking things a little too far in his adventure.

"Alright." Kai sighed. "I’ll be on my best behaviour."

"Good. Now, you can go back to the world."

"Wait! You froze time just now, right?" There was something he wanted to ask Leo.

"Yeah, why?"

"That’s what I wanted to ask. Why did you freeze time?"

"Uhh? Why wouldn’t I? Do you want your loved ones to die?" Leo was confused

"Huh? What do you mean? Why would they die?"

"Ohh! Right! I never told you. Yeah, this void room exists outside space and time. You can be in here for a second, return to the universe, and millions of years have passed."

"What the fuck! Why haven’t you told me this before?!"

Leo shrugged. "I don’t know. I just forgot."

"Wait. Does this mean millions of years have passed on Earth?" Kai only thought it had been a few months, not millions of years.

"Uhh, yeah. Do you remember when I told you about Zion Zagan? That happened after you arrived here. Technically, you’re older than him since you existed on an older...earth. What the fuck is this?" Leo saw something that wasn’t supposed to happen.

"That’s crazy. But what’s wrong?"

"Another earthling was reincarnated outside of the reincarnation cycle! This happened...WHAT? This was before Zion?! Who the fuck did this?!" Leo spent all of one second finding out what happened.

"Those fucking bastards!" He summoned Cassie.

"Huh? Darling? What’s going on?"

"Your niece and nephews are what’s going on. Those primordial bastards ignored my rules and reincarnated someone outside of the reincarnation cycle. That’s—"

"Illegal, I know. I’ll deal with it...later. I wanna spend more time with our grandbabies. They’re so cute!"

"Hell yeah, they are! Kai, keep producing these amazing offspring of yours!"

’Did his demeanour just change instantly? Fucking weirdo.’

"So, uhh, what’s the guy’s name? The one who was reincarnated?" Kai wondered.

"Hmm. Let’s see. Apparently, he’s called Jin."

"Jin, huh? ➡️⭐⬇️↘️➡️" Kai thought that was funny.

"Dude, what are you doing?"

"Acting like Jin. Welcome to the King of Iron first tourna—"

Leo teleported him back to the planet.

"Fucking bitch." Kai said as he was teleported back to the planet.

"Huh? Why’d you call me a bitch?" Kyana was about to throw hands, but Kai quickly told her the reason why.

"I was talking about Leo! Don’t hurt me!" He told them that he was summoned by his father to chat about some stuff.

"Oh. Okay. Well, um, we want to talk to you about our next adventure."

"Sorry to cut you off, but can it wait for a bit. We kind of have to stop that demonic geyser from spawning more demons." Kai pointed out.

"Oh shit. I forgot about that. Right! Uhh, how do we do that?"

"With this!" Kai pulled out the stone that was given to him by Morrigan. "It’s a stone that will allow me to travel to the demon world when I crush it. So, while I go there, I want you all to, uhh, well, do whatever. See ya."

Kai cracked the stone, and tendrils of shadows dragged him down to the demon world.
