“Mr. Ye, may I ask how many Kunlun Points are required to advance one’s membership in Kunlun?” Zhao Qingzhi suddenly asked Ye Yang after he had collected the elixirs.

“To advance from a low-level member to a mid-level member, it requires 1,000 Kunlun Points. From mid-level to high-level, it requires 10,000 Kunlun Points. And from high-level to top-level, it requires 100,000 Kunlun Points.

“If you wish to advance your Kunlun membership level, simply communicate with your identity jade token through your thoughts and silently request to upgrade your membership level. The required points will be deducted automatically.”

Ye Yang paused for a moment after hearing Zhao Qingzhi’s question before responding.

“Understood.” Upon hearing Ye Yang’s answer, Zhao Qingzhi and Yao Lai, who was standing nearby, immediately nodded respectfully to show their understanding.

“Do you have any other questions? If not, you may leave.” Ye Yang looked at Yao Lai and Zhao Qingzhi.

It wasn’t that Ye Yang was being cold or dismissive, kicking them out immediately after taking their elixirs because he saw no further use in them. Rather, the two had just acquired a significant amount of points and were likely to upgrade their Kunlun membership levels soon.

“Very well. From now on, you will stay here.” Ye Yang nodded.

“Yes.” Yao Zi’er nodded respectfully.

“Alright, you two should get acquainted with each other for now. I need to go into seclusion for a while to refine the heavenly elixirs they exchanged into the items they need. Unless it’s urgent, try not to disturb me.” Ye Yang addressed Zhao Ling’er and Yao Zi’er.

“Rest assured, Mr. Ye. We will not disturb you until you come out of seclusion,” Zhao Ling’er and Yao Zi’er immediately promised.

“Hm.” Seeing the two women nod, Ye Yang nodded in return. With a flash of his figure, he leaped upstairs and entered his room.

“Sister Ling’er, you’ve been with Mr. Ye the longest, so you must know him well. Could you share some of Mr. Ye’s preferences so I can avoid any missteps?” Yao Zi’er asked Zhao Ling’er with a smile after Ye Yang entered his room.

“I’ve only been with Mr. Ye one day longer than you. I don’t know much about his preferences either,” Zhao Ling’er replied, her eyes flickering briefly before shaking her head at Yao Zi’er.

In truth, Zhao Ling’er did know some of Ye Yang’s preferences. For example, he had previously warned her not to overthink things, as overthinking could lead to undesirable outcomes. But she had learned this only after nearly displeasing him, so how could she easily share such information with Yao Zi’er?

“Then, Sister Ling’er, let’s help each other out in the future,” Yao Zi’er said with a smile.

She could tell at a glance that Zhao Ling’er was holding something back. Having accompanied her grandfather, Yao Lai, in many of the Yao family’s business dealings, she had seen all sorts of people and behaviors. The flicker in Zhao Ling’er’s eyes clearly indicated she was concealing something.

But even though she knew Zhao Ling’er was hiding information, Yao Zi’er didn’t mind. After all, they were neither relatives nor close friends. It was normal for Zhao Ling’er not to share. If Yao Zi’er were in her position, she wouldn’t casually reveal Mr. Ye’s preferences to someone she just met either.

“Too many points? Brother Zhao, I know you’ve got your eye on the over 100,000 points I have. Actually, if you really want some of my points, I can lend you 30,000 Kunlun Points interest-free, and you can repay me whenever you like,” Yao Lai said solemnly in response to Zhao Qingzhi.
