CHAPTER 356: CHAPTER 356: PERILOUS NIGHT FISHING (PART 2)

Li Hang saw Gao Shan’s expression and felt secretly pleased in his heart.

"Bro, instant noodles."

Gao Shan took the instant noodles and didn’t want to delay for a moment, "Brother Hang, I’m going to check if any fish have bitten!"

As time ticked away, Gao Shan and Li Hang got more and more excited while fishing.

With wild grass all along the riverbank, Gao Shan watched his step while heading toward the two figures.

When nearly three hundred meters away from the figures, Gao Shan felt something odd. Why were those two still hopping?

Gao Shan stopped, carefully watched the two figures, and as he gradually saw clearly, he thought, "What the hell!" Why were they wearing ancient attire?

This...this... did he see a ghost!!!

Li Hang’s car was blocking behind; Gao Shan couldn’t escape if he drove his own.

They got into the car and locked the doors tightly.

"Drive fast! Drive fast! They’re coming!!!"

Gao Shan anxiously watched the approaching zombies, his voice growing sharp.

Li Hang looked at the increasingly close zombies, his hands trembling as he inserted the car key. As he started the car, the two zombies had already jumped to the front.

"Screech."

Their sharp claws scraped against the car.

Li Hang quickly reversed, becoming increasingly calm in moments of crisis.

Reversing, turning around, stomping the gas!

Gao Shan turned around to observe the zombies still persistently chasing, but the distance was growing. He let out a sigh of relief.

Yet, before finishing that breath, the car suddenly stopped.

"Bang!"

"Why did it stop, hurry up and run!"

Gao Shan held his head, too busy to shout any pain, while watching the zombies coming closer, shouting urgently.

Li Hang stared blankly at the huge tank, and the armed cars ahead, cannons...

Seeing the zombies nearly upon them, Gao Shan turned to Li Hang, urging him to hurry up and drive.

Li Hang stared dumbfoundedly ahead; he turned to see what Li Hang was looking at and froze.

Armed soldiers had sprung into action, wielding guns and cannons, alongside barbed wire...

They bypassed their car, directly charging toward the two zombies.

"Knock, knock."

A police officer came over and knocked on the car window.

Li Hang snapped out of it, and quickly rolled down the window.

"Hello, please drive over here."

With the sound of cannon fire behind, fearing to be caught up in it, Li Hang promptly drove the car over.

Gao Shan looked around at the living people; his worried heart finally relaxed, and in the next second, he fainted.

Li Hang saw Gao Shan faint and fearfully slapped his face, loudly shouting at him.

The police heard the noise inside the car and immediately stepped forward to check, seeing Gao Shan had fainted, they quickly called for a forensic doctor.

The forensic doctor examined him and said, "He’s fine, just fainted from fright."

Upon hearing this, everyone sighed in relief.

Li Hang slumped to the ground, his eyes looking towards the cannon fire area, noticing the zombies had been captured.

Then, they took out a net covered with carvings and tightly bound the zombies, loading them into a sealed vehicle and drove away.

Li Hang and Gao Shan were taken to the hospital and asked to sign confidentiality agreements.

When Lin Xiaoyan learned from Nan Xi that the two zombies had been taken away by the military, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"I have to say, night fishers are truly brave!"
