THE ITALIAN MAFIA'S KARMA
Chapter 109: BEHIND CLOSED DOORS
CHAPTER 109: BEHIND CLOSED DOORS
Valentina’s hand curled into his shirt, pulling him closer as she drowned in the sweetness of his lips.
The discovery of how just two lips colliding could give so much pleasure caused a gasp to escape her, and he capitalized by tasting her tongue.
Luciano tilted her head to an angle on the side where he could drink her in as much as he wanted.
In that position, he worshiped her tongue with his tongue.
She wasn’t passive in any of it. As if a fire had been ignited in her, she matched his pace, passion for passion.
Her body completely melted into his arms, as their lips engaged in the fiercest of battle that left both completely breathless.
"You should stop me, Valentina," he whispered against her mouth, his breath, heated.
"No." She pulled him back, as they engaged in another ferocious lip munching.
"The other day–" his breath caught, as she ran her hand through his hair.
"The other day?"
They began to kiss again, forgetting in the moment what he was about to say.
Then the kiss slowed. "Shouldn’t– shouldn’t have left you." He kissed the nape of her neck, and she tilted even more, desire breaking out of her lips in little moans.
"You shou-ldn’t?" she stuttered, barely able to put words together.
"No–" his tongue moved to her ears, where he sucked gently.
A shudder ran through her, as she clung on to him helplessly.
"I’m sorry."
She froze.
Luciano noticed she had stopped responding, and pulled away lightly to look at her.
When he caught her gaze, his confusion further grew.
"You’re sorry?" She whispered almost breathlessly.
"Yeah. I was projecting on you heavily. It was wro—"
She attacked his lips with more energy than before, damning all of the consequences that came with wanting the forbidden.
A taken man. The man she was supposed to hate. One part of her perhaps did hate him.
But not this part with hands sliding all over his body, so she could get as much of him as she could.
Her fingers glided through his hair, and his fingers dragged down her spine to her lower waist.
And as he grabbed her there, she instinctively grinded.
Her stomach flipped when she felt his bulge.
Their kiss intensified with the new knowledge of the extent of their passion for each other.
However, at the peak of it, the sound of clicking heels approaching, reached Valentina’s ears.
Her breath paused. "Luciano? Do you hear that?"
He didn’t respond, too focused on her to care about anything else.
"Stop Luciano. I think someone is coming." She placed a hand on his chest to push him away.
"I don’t want to," he trailed kisses all over her face. "Let’s not stop," he said stubbornly.
The Closer the clicking heels grew, the more tense Valentina became.
It could be anyone, and God knew her heart enough to know she didn’t want to cause any problems.
She only couldn’t resist the desire the devilish man arose in her.
When the clicking heels were at the door, Luciano caught her lips in one more deep kiss, before he let go.
Valentina rose to her feet immediately, and adjusted her gown to tidy every crease.
Luciano did the same, to hide his bulge that was raging hard.
The door opened seconds after, and Daniela walked in with Sonia in tow.
"There you are ba—" her words trailed into a stop when she saw Valentina beside him. "What is this bitch doing here?!" She lost it.
"I was just leaving," Valentina said, hoping to God her face wasn’t evidence of the sin that just occurred.
Daniela marched forward to stand beside Luciano.
"How did you get in here in the first place?" She faced Valentina fully.
"I got lost. Heard keys playing and followed the sound which led me here," she explained, straight faced.
Luciano was impressed.
"Yeah, how convenient. Always seeking out my– you know what? I don’t even care. Get out of here. I need to talk to Luciano alone," she said in a rude, dismissive tone.
"I was just about to leave–" she pretended to walk away, but paused after taking just a step. "Daniela, whatever it was you did back there, I just want you to know I’ll find out, and I won’t be quiet about it."
Daniela flared up. "What are you talking about? If you’re going to accuse me of something, shouldn’t you be more direct?"
"Oh I wasn’t trying not to be. I know for a fact you are trying to sabotage the truth, for your selfish gain. You tampered with those letters. I can’t prove it yet, but I will."
"Now you listen to me, you whor–"
"No you shut up, and listen!" Valentina cut her off with a stern counter.
Luciano’s eyes widened a little, and then it returned to normal.
He didn’t know why he was even surprised when he already knew Valentina had a temper on her.
But it was Daniela’s eyes that remained bulged in complete shock.
"The only reason why I allowed you to always run your filthy trap without giving it back to you was out of love, and respect for Natalia," Valentina continued. "She always thought you were on her side. And so she took your side even when it was against me, her true sister. But what do you do with that love? You try to squash it because of your selfishness. So yes I will find out what you did, and when I do–"
"You’ll what?" She suddenly found her voice. "All I need to do is tell my man to throw you back into lanotte where you deserve to be. Where he put you in the first place, because you’re absolutely nothing, and will never be anything. Not in Neravalle where I’m queen. So yes, you can’t do nothing to me when all it takes is just me asking my husband to-be for a favour. And just like this, he’ll squash you."
Valentina chuckled, but it didn’t really capture the essence of what she felt, and so she broke into a mocking laughter.
Somehow, that laughter further turned Luciano on.
He watched her in fascination, but when his gaze shifted to Daniela and he saw the horror in her eyes, he swiftly readjusted.
"What is so funny, you bitch?!"
"You just really tickled me. I mean do you want to test that theory?" She took a challenging step forward.
Daniela’s brow snapped together. "What theory? Are you crazy? What are you talking about?"
"The theory of asking your man to do something bad to me, and he’ll be more than willing to do it. Are you really sure you have that power? I mean let’s put it to the test right now." Her eyes twinkled mischievously as she held Daniela’s confused gaze.
Daniela turned to Luciano. "Babe, do you hear what this bitch is implying? Prove her wrong? She’s daring me," she said.
Luciano, thrust in the middle, knew he had to disappoint one of them.
"This has nothing to do with me," he said to Daniela, and turned away.
Valentina giggled.
"Click!"
Daniela whipped her head to her. "What is that?!"
"Just captured your clown face, because I’m sure it won’t be the last time I see it," she laughed at her one more time, before she turned to Sonia. "Get me out of here please," she said.
Sonia was more than ready. They walked out, leaving behind Daniela who didn’t wait for the doors to fully shut, before she went off on Luciano.
