Chapter 867: Chapter 869: Not Forgotten
The two black-clad figures retreated hastily, but one of them was unlucky. His retreating body was caught by Lin Fei who suddenly lunged forward. Then, Lin Fei’s knee struck his abdomen, and his internal organs churned violently.
In extreme pain, cold sweat broke out on his forehead. After he barely steadied himself, Lin Fei chopped at his neck with a hand knife, his vision turned black, and he fell. The other person, already scared out of his wits, tried to flee but was immediately caught up by Lin Fei, who knocked him out with a heavy punch.
The black-clad figure whom Lin Fei had taken down first finally stood up, but seeing his four companions being easily dealt with by Lin Fei, he was so frightened that he couldn’t hold the baton in his hand, and it dropped to the ground with a clatter.
Hearing the sound, Lin Fei slowly walked toward the black-clad figure, who was so terrified that he bolted but couldn’t imagine Lin Fei was like a specter and instantly appeared next to him.
The black-clad figure was struck in the abdomen by a sweeping kick from Lin Fei, flying two or three meters away and unable to get up due to the searing pain.
Lin Fei walked slowly to his side and stepped on his chest.
“If you want to live, answer my questions honestly!”
The black-clad figure nodded vigorously like a pecking chicken.
“On whose orders, where did you take them, and what are you going to do?”
“It was Li Feng who ordered us to take the person to an abandoned factory in the north of the city. I don’t know what exactly is supposed to be done!”
The black-clad figure, in a bid to save his life, spilled everything.
Lin Fei, although unsure of who this Li Feng was or why Mu Shanshan was kidnapped, could tell that the black-clad figure wasn’t lying and thus lifted his foot from his chest.
“Take your people and scram!”
Hearing this, the black-clad figure immediately rolled and crawled to drag his four companions into another van and fled in a panic.
Lin Fei didn’t rush to the abandoned factory in the north of the city because he saw someone standing not far away, and it was Fang Shaoyu!
A sudden burst of anger surged in Lin Fei’s heart, and he walked briskly toward Fang Shaoyu.
Fang Shaoyu, as always, smiled gracefully, but at this moment, Lin Fei found it rather annoying.
Mu Shanshan got involved in this because she was with him, and it could be possible that Fang Shaoyu orchestrated the whole scenario.
“Hey, Brother Luo, we meet again…”
Seeing Lin Fei in front of him, Fang Shaoyu reached out, but Lin Fei instantly seized his throat and pressed him against the wall behind him.
“Why was my wife with you?”
Fang Shaoyu shrugged, looking innocent.
“You should ask Miss Mu about that, not me.”
Lin Fei squinted his eyes, scrutinizing Fang Shaoyu, who remained so calm in the face of his fury, clearly suggesting Fang Shaoyu was no ordinary person.
Lin Fei fundamentally didn’t believe that Fang Shaoyu wasn’t related to the Fang Family.
“Instead of telling me all this, why don’t you hurry up and save your wife first.”
Even though Fang Shaoyu’s pompous tone made Lin Fei frown, what he said was indeed true.
Lin Fei also realized that what he should be doing now is rushing to the abandoned factory in the north of the city to rescue Mu Shanshan.
After throwing Fang Shaoyu hard against the wall, Lin Fei turned and walked toward his Ferrari without looking back.
“Brother Luo, drive faster, and there’s still hope to catch up with them. If you’re slow, Miss Mu will be in danger.”
Lin Fei didn’t rush to respond to Fang Shaoyu’s provocation. He got into his Ferrari, revved the engine, and drove up beside Fang Shaoyu, resting his arm on the window with a cold voice.
“Do you still need to ask if I drive fast?”
Having said this, before Fang Shaoyu could reply, he stepped on the gas and sped out of the underground parking lot.
To ensure the accuracy of the information, Lin Fei took out his phone to check Mu Shanshan’s coordinates.
The coordinates on Mu Shanshan’s phone were moving rapidly, indeed heading north, but it was uncertain if it was leading to the abandoned factory the black-clad figure mentioned.
To be safe, Lin Fei decided to pursue the location of Mu Shanshan’s coordinates.
Lin Fei could confirm that the target vehicle was traveling at about fifty kilometers per hour. If the road was clear, he was confident he could catch up in ten minutes.
