The six of them looked up at the class assignment list written in black brush characters on red paper. There were four classes per grade, arranged by ranking. All six were top students, so they quickly found their names on it.

Xiu Xi and Jiaojiao were in the same class, class two, along with Lu Zishu.

Yang Tao and Ruan Lei were in class one.

Ru Xiaoding was in class four.

Jiaojiao also saw Yang Men in the middle of class two, and next to Yang Men was a name that looked familiar, Feng Tian.

“Brother Xiu, doesn’t this name seem familiar?” Jiaojiao pointed at Feng Tian’s name and asked Xiu Xi. She had a feeling she had seen the name somewhere, but couldn’t quite recall.

When they were in first year, they went to Changling for an Olympiad competition’s second round. In the same exam room, they met a girl who seemed to have given her candy? And it happened to be Jiaojiao’s birthday that day, so she gave a red egg in return.

The teaching building was behind the football field, only one in the whole school, with one floor per grade—four classes for first and second grades, but only three for the third grade due to dropouts.

Jiaojiao was already familiar with the place, so she declined Ruan Jianguo’s offer to accompany her from the gate, suggesting he focus on his business. The Ruan Family business was expanding, with Jianguo incredibly busy daily. Jiaojiao felt she could handle this small matter herself without needing his help.

Seeing her insistence, Jianguo didn’t press further, especially since the school belonged to Shu Jiao’s territory, so there was little worry. He drove off to his commitments.

Jiaojiao and the others walked to the teaching building, encountering several familiar faces from their previous school during the journey.

Jiaojiao couldn’t recall their names, but they all recognized Jiaojiao and her group, greeting them and joining their walk toward the teaching building. Gradually, their group expanded, attracting considerable attention, especially the noticeably centered Jiaojiao, who drew envy from onlookers.
