"Trolian?"

"Our power was derived from the stars, the Star Source endowed us with star-like characteristics, the divine artifacts forged from the Star Source were incredibly strong, including one true ancient artifact. The Starry Sky City withstood the black tide, repelling the Black Fog and battling the Black Fog Demon."

The Starry Queen’s voice became low.

"Perhaps the Starry Sky City might have held... until I was eroded."

"Mysterious Shadow, one of the great terrors within the Source Black Fog."

"Its arrival signified the kingdom’s demise—the Black Fog initially enveloped the Starry Sky City, a traitor dug through the sewers, destroyed the city’s defensive barrier, the Source Black Fog gushed out within the city, the Great Demon launched its attack, yet their queen had already been eroded by the Mysterious Shadow."

The Starry Queen’s voice turned sorrowful.

"I knew we were doomed. In my last lucid moments, I used the power of the Star Source to protect the spirit, suppress the corrosive power of the Black Fog, transforming us into a chaotic form between human and monster."

"I scattered more of the Star Source to protect my warriors from complete corruption."

"I also knew that the initial darkness would surely turn the Starry Sky City into a terrifying breeding ground, a source of disaster, nurturing more horrors, more intense darkness, and humanity’s hope would be increasingly bleak."

"Thus, I wrapped the Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground with the Source Barrier, preventing the dark power from escaping. The Mysterious Shadow was restrained within my body, the sacrificial ground became its prison, and I its guardian. For fifteen hundred years, it only leaked a small portion."

Rod suddenly understood; no wonder there were so many Black Fog Symbionts in the city—they were all part of the Starry Queen.

No wonder they were able to enter through the sewers—the traitor had breached the barrier from within.

That shadow, it must be the Mysterious Shadow she mentioned.

The Starry Queen softly said: "You are very wise; the Mysterious Shadow, due to its close symbiotic state with me, has gained a portion of wisdom. Your king quickly discovered the anomaly, the power of fire passing through the shadow, awakened my spirit, allowing the mystery to be slain."

"And in the far, unseen distance, in the Dark Taboo Place, deep within the Source Black Fog, another great terror is about to be disturbed. The disaster will not fade away; it shall return until humanity is completely extinguished—that’s the Source Feedback."

"No!"

Luo Weiya firmly denied.

"We are about to rebound; the course of fire has already changed..."

The Starry Queen gently shook her head, not responding to his words.

"Why did you come here?"

Theodore replied: "For the Holy Fire Seed." He briefly informed her of Trolian’s state.

Starlight became dim, and the Starry Queen’s expression turned dark, causing everyone to feel inexplicably tense.

"Too late."

"You arrived too late."
