The Long Road to Love: The Capable CEO Dad
Chapter 86: Nathaniel Quinn Arrives
CHAPTER 86: CHAPTER 86: NATHANIEL QUINN ARRIVES
Eleanor Hollis wanted to struggle, but her face quickly felt a burning pain.
"Bitch! Don’t be shameless!!"
The man saw the disdain on her face, clearly enraged, and directly raised a hand to slap her across the face.
Eleanor’s head tilted to the side, a trace of blood appeared at the corner of her mouth, but she didn’t look up at her assailant, instead she lowered her head, lost in thought.
Seeing her like this, the man grew even angrier inside, and swiftly grabbed a dagger to cut the ropes binding her, then pinned her down with ease.
"Tonight, I’m going to have my way with you! Brothers, you’d better leave for a bit. This woman is all mine tonight."
The man grinned, savoring Eleanor’s face full of despair.
Scarface thought to advise him again, but he felt an itch himself, especially since he’d taken a liking to Eleanor from the moment they were in the car. Seeing someone making the first move, he relaxed.
"Hurry up, the others are waiting."
The man chuckled at his impatience, "That’s the Scarface I know. Don’t worry, I’ll finish quickly and not waste everyone’s time."
Eleanor realized he was serious, slowly backed away, and grasped a rock, hurling it at the man’s head.
But the man was prepared, his face filled with rage, "Bitch! Trying to sneak attack me, you’re too naïve!!"
"Smack!!"
Five distinct finger marks appeared on Eleanor’s face as she desperately pushed the man on top of her, but his strength was overpowering.
"Rip!!"
She heard the sound of fabric tearing, and disgust flashed in her eyes.
"Second Master! Second Master Kane! Stop now, someone’s coming, hurry up, we can’t delay getting the money!!"
The man was ready to go further but heard knocking at the door outside, reluctantly giving her a look before slowly getting up, feeling unlucky.
Why come now, of all times!
Just as he stood, Eleanor backed away.
He grabbed her again, tying her back to the pillar.
He also tidied Eleanor clothes, knowing that what was on the other side was the patron; if they saw the woman harmed, they probably wouldn’t pay.
"Keep your mouth shut later, or I’ll kill you!" he threatened viciously.
Eleanor had no idea who was coming, pursing her lips without speaking.
The man saw her like this, even more unwilling to let go, knowing he was about to possess her.
But knowing the money was substantial, he restrained himself and quickly opened the door.
Soon, a car arrived outside, Nathaniel Quinn and Grace Lynch got out.
This time Eleanor was captured because Nathaniel wanted to play hero after listening to Grace’s idea.
So they orchestrated this scene by themselves, and Grace was the one who found these people. Nathaniel just needed to pay up and take Eleanor away.
"Eleanor, are you alright?"
Seeing Eleanor’s swollen cheeks, he frowned and glared fiercely at Grace.
Grace raised her eyebrows. The people she found were desperadoes; how could Eleanor possibly fare well at their hands?
Unfortunately, it seemed she hadn’t been violated in any substantial way.
Seeing Nathaniel arrive, a sense of oddity flashed in Eleanor’s heart. How did this person know she was here?
Nathaniel seemed to have picked up on her question and held her with a bit of tenderness.
"I called you, but you didn’t answer, so I tracked your location. Eleanor, don’t be afraid, I’ll take you back."
The few men looked at him performing his deep affection act, visibly impatient.
"Did you bring the money? If not, we’ll just kill your woman now!!"
They noticed Nathaniel seemed to really care about Eleanor.
Nathaniel got up, looking at the man with disdain.
He had grown up in the Quinton Family, always living a life of luxury, utterly contemptuous of these criminals.
"Release the ropes tying her first."
The men glanced at each other, seeing Nathaniel hadn’t brought others, they felt relieved.
Anyway, even if they untied the ropes, there was no escape for them.
Scarface swiftly cut the ropes again, full of mockery.
Eleanor was weak all over, due to inhaling drugs, now, she couldn’t muster any strength.
"Careful."
Nathaniel carefully helped her up, his eyes full of pity, "I’m sorry, I should’ve realized earlier, I came too late."
Eleanor didn’t listen to him, instead she looked at Grace standing aside.
Why would Grace be here with Nathaniel, could it be she wanted to save her?
But that was impossible. Eleanor and Grace had deep hatred towards each other, with Grace’s personality, she likely wished Eleanor would die right here.
Nathaniel also noticed her gaze, sighed, "Bringing her here couldn’t be avoided, I’ll explain to you later."
This was all planned by him and Grace, and Grace’s only request was to come along.
Grace had her own agenda, expecting to see Eleanor in complete despair wanting to die, but she was merely slapped twice instead, which would probably make Nathaniel even more concerned.
"Here is a check for five million—according to our agreement, let her go."
Nathaniel pulled out a check, impatiently placing it in Scarface’s hand.
Scarface felt his self-esteem was insulted, but when he saw the string of zeros, he forcibly held back his temper.
They had just received a mysterious phone call, saying to kidnap a woman named Eleanor and wait for her ransom.
They didn’t know who made the call but understood it was a big deal, accepting almost without hesitation.
Yet the man’s superior attitude up front was very irritating.
But with the money in hand, they couldn’t be bothered with arguing.
"Hold on, who hit Eleanor? Apologize to her."
Nathaniel suddenly spoke, holding Eleanor tightly, as if intending to demand justice for her.
Grace standing beside him felt a shiver in her heart. She knew what kind of people they were; asking them to apologize was harder than scaling the sky.
And Nathaniel, to show his deep affection for Eleanor, brought no extra people, urgently rushing over.
He assumed they were mere street hoodlums, thinking money would solve everything.
"Nathaniel, she’s already rescued, let’s hurry and go."
Not seeing Eleanor disgraced left Grace initially frustrated, and hearing Nathaniel say this made her even unhappier.
She certainly didn’t want to be left behind with them.
