CHAPTER 80: SHIHON UNLEASHED: BEAST FORM!

"[BARNARD’S LOOP]!!!!"

[SHIHON UNLEASHED]!!!!"

In milliseconds, Shihon, Liohime Kitagami’s Magical Beast, howled with animosity as her pupils changed color into a brilliant white, along with her horns that suddenly multiplied into thick, blade-like needles that contorted and hardened, emitting sparks that radiated an ethereal glowing aura around her entire beastly body.

At the same time, Killcreation, Yariko’s Magical Beast, outstretched its monstrous arm towards the sky above,and a ring of a starry spectrum of darkness with edges that were lit with a black and blue fiery flame danced around its palms as it circled and enlarged with stunning power.

The spectators of this fight had pretty much doubled by now, and everyone looked on with awe, but...

"S-Shit, doesn’t this look really dangerous!?" Harvey spoke up with bells of danger ringing out inside of his head. "With this much power, this could cause some serious collateral damage on us and them!"

"It’s already way too late to stop them," Jolene replied calmly, keeping her eyes fixed on the eager face of Liohime. "Knowing Lio, he’ll never forgive us if we try to stop him here. He’ll never back down from a fight or challenge, and he’ll always give his all. Still, we need to back up a bit. There’s no telling how this could end. Prepare to use your new Magical Beast if need be."

"Tch, Lio, you bastard," Harvey muttered under his breath, "you better win if you’re deciding to go all out here!!!"

Right after that sentence escaped his lips, he took a step back, but the two opponents had already made their move.

Shihon, overlapped with a shining, white and green beam of magical energy that burned with a glamorous aura, sped into close combat range like a bullet, and Killcreation hurled the hellish ring of destruction at her.

Shihon opened her mouth, baring her fangs, and inside of her head, that freshly bloomed daisy was now crushed in an instant, signalling her activation of-

Nature’s Hell.

She snapped her fingers, and instead of summoning out vines, a beautiful daisy bloomed from her right palm. She clenched her right fist, summoning a white and green powerful beam from that now crushed flower that shot out instantly.

It was the move that she had almost used against Liohime in the In-House Game Roster, and she had dubbed it Nature’s Hell a name, and instead of using it as a punch with a burst of magical energy contained inside her fist while in her human form...

...I’ll use it as a beam attack in my beast form!!!

...She breathed out a fiery blast of light energy that scorched and collided with Killcreation’s incredible attack on impact, shaking and destroying the field around them with a destructive explosion of fire, dust, debris and more.

The spectators were blown back by the shockwave’s impact, and a slightly searing heat flooded into both Liohime and Yariko’s skin as they shielded their faces to no avail.

A smoky haze had appeared on the battlefield, and for several seconds, both spectators and Magical Beast Masters looked on with anticipation, waiting for the dust to clear.

Finally, Yariko was able to spot his own.

Stooping down with smoke and a green energy eating away at its upper body was Killcreation, barely hanging on.

"Shit! KC!!"

With a grunt, the beast trembled, giving its all just to remain standing, but then halted as it stared forward with its hollow, bright eyes.

Within that smoke were two bright, glowing eyes, fangs that seemed to maniacally shine as Killcreation’s opponent grinned devilishly, and haunting smoke trails of green and white energy that escaped its mouth.

Killcreation quickly stretched out its hand, but nothing came out, and Yariko winced.

Don’t tell me that the mana capacity in its soul is....

Before he could issue a command-

"SHIHONNNNN!!!!!"

Liohime had picked himself up and screamed that name with all his might, and the weak, shivering paws of his Magical Beast instantly stood firm.

Shihon, whose beam had mostly failed to fully match the power of her opponents attack, had recieved the repercussions that were healed quickly, but the agonizing pain continued to torment her insides. Also, she knew the limits of her power, and by now...

My mana capacity stored within me that is needed to process my magical powers has almost been fully used up! Nevertheless...

With a noise that echoed into something like a roar, she emerged from the smoke and charged at the enemy without fear, doing her best to retain her improved beast form of [Shihon Unleashed] for just a little longer.

If my Master wants me to push through, I have no choice but to bear it!!!

Using her flower tail, she let an array of bullets sharpened from the blooming petals fly while closing the gap, and they stabbed into Killcreation as the creature escaped with wounds, showing a delay in reaction time.

He’s weak!!! she thought excitedly.

"Go for an attack while it’s in midair!" commanded Liohime, and Shihon let out Nature’s Hell once more as she could feel her power decreasing.

I have to finish this now!!

"Dodge!!" said Yariko, panicking, but Killcreation could not fully avoid the attack, taking a bit of the blow on its right as Shihon’s magical energy singed with pain, and Shihon was now in close range to finish it off adjust as it descended towards her.

"DAMN IT!! DON’T LET THEM WIN!! SLASH WITH NO MERCY!!!"

With one last desperate attempt, Killcreation swung at Shihon with incredible speed using its claws, but Shihon twisted her upper body just enough to barely dodge, and countered with all of her physical strength.

Using iron-like claws of her own, she stabbed into the solidified flesh of its face and ripped off an entire half of its skull, just as her power had fully diminished.

There was no blood, no organs, no brain matter. Just a dark, hollow space inside, as Killcreation went limp and collided with the ground below.

Shihon’s opponent weakly held up its arm, but she easily crushed its palm into the ground, disabling its last efforts, all while Yariko looked on with an utterly defeated face.

A smile slowly and faintly crept up on Liohime’s face, as Shihon slumped onto the ground only two seconds after, completely exhausted, but keeping her eyes intently fixed on the one who had been crushed completely.

--Liohime Kitagami and Shihon had won.
