“Where do these paths lead?”

“They lead to different areas. Oh, by the way, did you come across any other paths while traveling from the capital to here?”

Before Aurora could respond, Theodore, walking beside her, answered instead,

“There were plenty of paths. Some were blocked, others led who knows where. The passageways were so maze-like that meeting you here feels like an extraordinary coincidence.”

I recalled the Happy House blueprint and the note on the back indicating that “8 Notium” indeed connected to the capital.

“So, where exactly does this passage lead in the capital?” I asked.

Aurora responded,

“Do you know the mansion at 61 Notium Street? Before the catastrophe, it was infamous as a site where monsters were often sighted. There was a passageway beneath it. We entered to investigate, but when the path collapsed, we had no choice but to keep going until we ended up here.”

As Aurora explained, she suddenly looked at me with wide eyes.
