Before he could react, Cherry lunged forward, splitting the larva clean in half with her axe—her eyes flashing like she would slaughter every last creature in this world.

"Be careful not to get infected. We have to save Sir Ethan together."

She spoke with complete seriousness.

Telling him to save Ethan was ridiculous.

If he had been an ordinary human, the moment that larva bit into his arm, he would’ve already been infected.

And yet, Cherry hadn't even considered that.
