The Martial Artist Turned Movie Mogul
Chapter 1024 - 1023. Four consecutive days of live streaming
CHAPTER 1024: 1023. FOUR CONSECUTIVE DAYS OF LIVE STREAMING
"Damn! So it’s actually being given away? I thought it belonged to the Medical College. Pick me, pick me, pick me!"
"Give give give, hahaha~~ Today’s definitely my lucky day. This thing isn’t even out on the market yet..."
"As expected of Uncle She—always so cocky and so badass!"
The livestream audience was losing their minds, even the big-shot medical experts who were lurking in the chat couldn’t help but shudder at this decision.
They’re really giving it away?!
What the hell! Us fellow professionals haven’t even had a chance to see this in person, and they’re already giving away their freshly made pills? Our hospital (or university) doesn’t even have a single one—this is just unfair!
The commenter from earlier timidly surfaced again:
"I take back what I said earlier—Uncle She is truly the king of generosity. I bow to his greatness!"
In the next second, the livestream chat started exploding with gifts—fireworks animations becoming more extravagant by the moment, and countless floods of flower icons filled the screen.
Meanwhile, Tang Shu had already buried herself in mixing the rest of the medicinal ingredients, once again working meticulously for a full hour. Over thirty fresh pills were completed. Compared to the pinkish-gray ones from earlier, the adjusted formula gave this batch a coffee-colored hue.
At first glance, they actually looked pretty nice.
"Five pills per bottle, six bottles in total. The system will randomly select six fans."
As Tang Shu carefully wrote the usage instructions on the bottles, the scrolling chat instantly turned into a blur of messages...

Although this livestream wasn’t exactly planned in advance, by the end of the stream, the sheer number of viewers had skyrocketed enough to make peers in the industry gape in envy. Many hosts broadcasting at the same time on the platform were crying internally.
"What happened? Did She Yu & Yu not announce this time?"
"No idea, I didn’t hear a thing... Otherwise, I’d have avoided his time slot like usual!"
"No wonder I was singing my heart out, but my viewer count just kept dropping. It freaked me out so much I almost muted myself—seriously!"
"Industry protocol: Whenever She Yu & Yu goes live, you better watch out. It’s absolutely true. My viewers vanish halfway through my streams..."
"Personal record low today! Big Brother She, please give at least a day’s notice next time, I beg you~~"
...
Unintentionally stealing others’ thunder, Tang Shu left a message saying "I’ll be processing herbs every night at 8 PM for the next four days" before making a quick escape. She really did leave an advance notice this time.
When the other streamers on the platform got the news, they were completely, utterly, crushed!
"Wait, did I misread? Did they say they’re livestreaming for four days straight?"
"And not just four hours—FOUR DAYS!"
"Thinking back to the time this guy’s stream crashed four servers... I’ve got nothing more to say. Posting on my blog now: I’m taking four consecutive days off. Don’t even try to stop me!"
It wasn’t just the streamers panicking—the platform’s backend staff were alarmed too.
"Holy crap, this big guy just settled down for a few days and now he’s back? Four straight days—what does that even mean? We just started work and now we’re being dragged into overtime..."
"Don’t freak out, bro! Remember? Our servers were upgraded multiple times last year thanks to him."
"I didn’t forget, but you must’ve forgotten to check the numbers earlier. Bro, She Yu & Yu’s stream started with 3 million viewers and ended with 7 million. Are you sure we can handle four days of that pace?"
"..."
What are we waiting for? Upgrade the servers already!
After Tang Shu ended the stream, she left the platform in complete chaos, while she herself finally noticed her stomach growling in protest. Jing Yu, watching from the side, couldn’t help but laugh.
"You’re still here?"
She glanced at her phone screen, which showed it was already 10:30 PM.
Jing Yu stood up from the chair beside him, handing her a cup of warm milk. "Tiantian got a call from home, saying she needed to head back early, so I stayed."
In early February, the capital was still quite chilly. Feeling the warm milk in her hands, Tang Shu realized how hungry she was. Only then did she recall her dinner consisted of half a bun.
"What do you want to eat? I’ll make you something."
"I think Tiantian made two dishes earlier. How about warming those up?"
"Sure. Go take a shower first—it’ll be ready by the time you’re done."
Jing Yu pinched her cheeks and tugged lightly until she gave him a "smile," finally nodding in satisfaction.
"Much prettier like this."
"So you’re saying I wasn’t pretty during the livestream?"
"You were just as pretty, but I like it when you smile."
"..."
Alright, message received.
Tang Shu rubbed her now-reddened cheeks, firmly believing it was Jing Yu’s handiwork and not from blushing.
The two left the lab—one heading upstairs to wash away the lingering herbal scent, while the other went into the kitchen. Twenty minutes later, they both reconvened in the dining room.
"Huh? I don’t remember Tiantian making soup?"
"She didn’t. There were some spinach leftovers in the fridge, so I made some. It’s late—have more soup and less carbs."
"Do you want some too?"
"If you’re feeding me, I wouldn’t mind."
Once again, Tang Shu was caught off guard. Determined not to be outdone, she scooped up a bowl of spinach and egg soup for him, one spoonful at a time feeding it to Jing Yu.
He calmly and obligingly ate it, and by the end of the meal, they had both successfully overeaten.
Tang Shu stared at the now-empty three dishes and felt a mix of emotions.
"So, what now?"
High-IQ Jing Yu, for once, was out of ideas. "It’s too cold outside for a walk... How about we watch a movie in the screening room?"
After an entire day immersed in blueprints and snow lotus processing, Tang Shu’s brain was nothing but mush. She nodded cutely in agreement after eating.
Being gently led into one of the bedrooms in the Jing Family Villa, she suddenly realized how late it truly was.
"Uh..."
Jing Yu guided her to the screen and seemed oblivious to her awkwardness. "What do you want to watch?"
"Whatever—anything’s fine."
"Then I’ll pick."
Jing Yu casually selected an award-winning art film, which quickly began to play, overflowing with its artsy tone. Tang Shu barely lasted thirty minutes before her eyelids started drooping, her head nodding as she dozed off.
The person beside her turned the volume down significantly, and soon after, the sound of gentle breathing could be heard.
Feeling the weight on his shoulder, Jing Yu, following a "practice-makes-perfect" approach, carefully scooped her up.

The next morning, Tang Shu woke up groggily to an all-too-familiar sensation—a presence beside her, one that radiated both comfort and assurance.
Opening her eyes, she was met with an up-close and personal view of Jing Yu’s handsome face. Asleep, he exuded a soft gentleness... This felt oddly reminiscent, triggering memories of that morning at the resort.
Wait a second...
Why were they sleeping together?
Tang Shu’s long-dormant brain had a momentary shutdown as fragmented thoughts flooded in, finally settling on an image of that unfinished movie.
Great. Last night, she’d managed to pull off something incredibly dumb—so dumb it couldn’t get any worse.
Seriously though, why did her IQ and alertness seem to drop around Jing Yu?
