is amazing-I can’t believe I just happened to run into you.” Kathleen patted his arm, her eyes sparkling flirtatiously.
“Yes, it really is quite the coincidence.” Dwayne nodded in agreement, his gaze still fixed on her chest.
“So, Mr. Carroll, since fate has brought us together, shouldn’t we go out for a coffee and have a good talk about life?” Kathleen shed him a dazzling smile.
“Of course, I’d be delighted. I can’t let a beautifuldy’s invitation go to waste.” Dwayne rubbed his hands together and agreed with a cheerful smile.
“Then let’s go.”
“Alright.”
Dwayne followed behind Kathleen, putting on a proper gentlemanly
act.

Inside the apartment.
When Vanessa walked out with the printed contract, she immediately caught the enticing aroma wafting from the kitchen,
So the escort really can cook! And it looks like he’s quite good at it!
She walked in.
Evander was busy in the kitchen, wearing an apron.
“It smells so good.” She sniffed the air and smiled.
“Pan-seared steak and stir-fried noodles, almost ready to eat.” Evander

skillfully ted the fragrant steak and went to prepare some freshly squeezed juice.
Vanessa walked over for a look. The steak was beautifully cooked, golden and glistening, with butter sizzling on top. It looked incredibly appetizing.
“Come on, let’s eat.” After a while, Evander whistled, picked up the tes, and headed to the dining room. The tall man in an apron looked perfectly at ease, his imposing figure giving the simple apron a sense of
ceremony.
Vanessa couldn’t help but marvel.
Evan and Nathan were twopletely different types of men. Nathan exuded the aura of a domineering CEO-proud and noble, suited only for the world of business, with not a trace of everyday warmth about him.
Evan, on the other hand, was the quintessential urban dandy. His smile always carried a hint of roguishness, and the confidence and nonchnce in his slightly upturned eyes made it hard to look away. Yet, his every gesture revealed a restrained nobility, making him seem both distinguished and enigmatic. He was truly a gentleman among rogues, and a rogue among gentlemen.
“Is it good?” Vanessa cut a piece of steak and put it in her mouth. The rich, creamy vor filled her senses. Though she was born into wealth, she felt she had never tasted such delicious steak before.
“It’s really good.”
“If you like it, I’ll cook it for you often.”
Vanessa would never have guessed that the steak had just been air- shipped from Chaira by Evander, and had been fresh for less than twelve hours.

“Thank you, your cooking is excellent.” Vanessa picked up some spaghetti and put it in her mouth. It tasted very authentic. She had spent some time in Greiburg when she was fifteen or sixteen, so she had fond memories of genuine spaghetti.
“Do you like spaghetti?” Seeing her enraptured expression, he gazed at her deeply.
“Yes, I do.”
“Have you ever been to Greiburg?” he suddenly asked.
“Yes, I have,” Vanessa replied as she ate.
A glint of sharp light shed in Evander’s eyes.
“Have you ever been to Cloudmire? It’s a beautiful little vige.”
Vanessa suddenly looked up in surprise and asked, “You’ve been there?”
How could someone from such a poor background have been to a ce like that?
“No, I haven’t.”
“If you haven’t, why did you suddenly ask? Of course, I haven’t either,” Vanessa replied, lowering her head to continue eating her steak.
The light in Evander’s eyes slowly faded…
