Riki smiled slightly, then returned his gaze to the waves on the shore. Because the waves were quite big, several surfers were there. Indeed, the beach on the south side had bigger waves than the beach on the east side.

"Riki, can you help me make a video and take some selfies for me? I have to do it for social media," said Sean.

Riki nodded, "Sure, where do you want to take the photos?"

Sean gave his smartphone to Riki, then looked for a good spot to take photos and make a short video.

Of course, the best choice on the beach was to go to a small hill nearby.

The hill was about fifteen meters above ground level. It was not far from where they had been before. Around the hill were wild cosmos flowers in bloom.

"Wow, I didn’t know you were this good at taking pictures, Riki," said Sean, looking back at all the photos and videos Riki had taken.

"I just took them as usual."

Sean shook his head, "No, you’re really good at finding good angles for me. Thank you. But Riki, do you know Deva’s uncle and aunt’s family well?" asked Sean, looking at Sandra who was lying comfortably on a beach chair under a large umbrella.

"They used to be friends with my parents..."

Sean paused for a moment, looking at Riki who was staring blankly ahead. Their hair was blown by the gentle breeze.

Even though they were just sitting on a small hill, under the shade of a medium-sized tree, it felt very comfortable to sit there.

Because from that small hill, they could see everything.

Luxurious villas, resorts and restaurants, beach clubs, even the yacht that Deva and the others were on.

"So, what are your plans after this?" asked Sean, who already knew a little about Riki’s problem with Sandra.

"Hmm, I don’t know, but before that, I want to know... I think you and Aunt Sandra have met. You said she seemed nice but fake. But from what I see, it seems like Aunt Sandra just met you," asked Riki.

Hearing that, Sean chuckled, then turned back to the woman, who was still sleeping peacefully.

"No, I’ve met her several times. You know that Deva and I are good friends, so we’re often together. Many people think badly of us because of that. As you know, how David and Vicky reacted to our closeness. So, it’s very strange if I just met Deva’s aunt’s family, right? But, Deva’s aunt and uncle always forget about me after we meet again. This isn’t strange, Riki. People tend to forget things that aren’t important to them. What’s important to them is Deva, not me. I probably just look like a little insect wandering around Deva. Just so you know, after meeting Deva’s aunt for the second time, after the woman had a nice chat with me, she then talked about me behind my back. She said to Deva, "Why are you friends with a gay guy like him? Auntie will ask David to kick him out of this agency, he’s a bad influence on you." Those were hurtful words that I will never forget for the rest of my life. But, the next time we met, she didn’t remember me again and thought I was a tomboy. Just like today."

After thinking about it again, Sean was right. People easily forget things they consider unimportant. They don’t try to remember them.

"But that’s good enough for me," added Sean.

Riki turned to Sean, "What do you mean?"

"Well, it’s fine if they keep forgetting me, right? Hahaha, but they always remember Travis. Funny, isn’t it?"

Riki could understand that, because he had often been in that situation before.

What Riki remembered most were Hannah’s parents.

While Riki was dating Hannah, he often came to Hannah’s house. Whether it was to pick Hannah up, deliver food that Hannah wanted, or other things.

However, Hannah’s parents always forgot who Riki was. Once, Riki was inside the house, tidying up Hannah’s messy room. Meanwhile, Hannah was outside, eating with her family.

Riki overheard them talking about wanting to set Hannah up with their mother friend’s handsome son who had a good job.

Even though Riki, Hannah’s boyfriend, was right there. And they themselves had asked Riki to help Hannah tidy up her room, after knowing that Riki was Hannah’s boyfriend.

That was quite hurtful for Riki.

It was as if his presence was not appreciated and not expected at all.

It seemed that Sean felt the same way. No wonder Sean once said that Sandra was fake.

In fact, that was true.

"Come on, let’s go downstairs. I want to buy some young coconuts—did you know that there are young coconuts whose skin is edible?" said Sean. He was cheerful again after telling a painful story as if it were nothing.

"Don’t be silly, it’s impossible to eat young coconut skin, it tastes weird."

"I don’t really believe it either."

Riki, who was still holding Sean’s smartphone, took another photo of Sean as he came down the hill. He was just messing around. Besides Sean, he also took photos of the beautiful view from the top of the hill. He photographed the cosmos flowers in bloom.

Suddenly, several notifications appeared. Riki wanted to return the phone to its owner, but he accidentally touched the notification. The phone screen switched to Sean’s social media account, to the notification section.

It turned out that there were many notifications that Sean hadn’t seen.

Riki stopped walking because he was shocked to see the contents of the notification.

"What is this?" Riki muttered.

Sean, realizing that Riki was no longer walking with him, came back. He immediately grabbed his phone back when he found out that Riki was reading his notifications.

"Don’t tell anyone, Riki... this is normal for me."

Riki was even more surprised to hear Sean’s words, "Normal?"

Sean smiled weakly, "Well... you know. Most of my fans are men. My female fans like me because I’m pretty and expressive. Some of my fans even really like it when I interact with other men. Remember the movie where I won an award? It was a movie with little bit of bromance, especially the character I played. Even my company tried to give me that image, so... I’m used to it. Besides, I think it’s a good first step, right? Even if it starts like that, if I can prove myself—"

"Enough, Sean! I know you don’t like it. You’re right, it’s a good start, but after that, there won’t be anything like that again. You’ll join Hayper Entertainment, and if they dare to treat you like that, I won’t stand idly by. I have money and power now," said Riki.

Suddenly, Sean laughed, not a mocking laugh or a laugh at something funny. It was a laugh of frustration at the situation.

"That’s funny... a friend I just met supports me more than my own family."

Riki grabbed Sean’s shoulders, "What do you mean?"

Sean took a step back, "It’s okay, Riki, let’s go buy some young coconuts! They’re selling fresh young coconuts!"

Riki realized that he didn’t know anything about Sean’s family. Well, they had just met.

Riki cared because—he didn’t know why. Maybe it was because Riki had been in a difficult position like Sean, so he could understand him.

***

Riki couldn’t believe he was in such a strange situation.

Deva and the others returned home with some of their catch. Although most of the fish were caught by Deva, Anton, and Travis.

Suddenly, Riki found himself at Anton’s family villa, grilling fish with seasoning he made himself.

But on the bright side, Riki seasoned the fish with Deva and Sandra. Grilling the fish was the other’s job.

As planned, Riki would make Sandra suffer in the same way Sandra had made Riki’s mother suffer.

Of course, he would use Deva to do it.

"Deva, have you ever heard that story? About a woman who killed her own friend out of jealousy?" asked Riki.

Deva, who was tired after fishing, just stared at Riki with a confused look.

"Hmm?"

"You don’t know that? So, the first woman cheated on her husband with another man, then that man married the second woman whom he loved more. The first woman is still with her husband. However, she is pregnant with the first man’s child," said Riki.

Deva, who was generally slow to process information, stared at Riki for a long time. So, Riki continued, glancing at Sandra.

The woman seemed suspicious of Riki’s story.

"Here’s the thing, Deva... the first woman got the first man to impregnate her, but the first man was heavily drunk, he didn’t remember anything. Two months later, he met the second woman and decided to marry her," said Riki again.

"Uh? But... the first woman is still with her husband? They’re not divorced?" asked Deva.

Riki nodded, this time looking directly at Sandra.

"That’s right, Deva... the man didn’t know that the first woman was pregnant with his child. And the first woman was very jealous of the second woman, pretending to be her friend, poisoning her every chance she got. Until the second woman slowly died."

"RIKI!!"

Riki smiled at Sandra, who suddenly called his name, "Yes, auntie? Can I help you?"

Sandra panicked, confused by Riki’s story. Finally, she suddenly stood up and left.

"What’s wrong with your aunt, Deva? She’s weird," said Riki, pretending not to know anything.
