CHAPTER 207: 190: SISTER IS PREGNANT, DON’T SCARE THE CHILD_3

Shi Yin felt the tip of his nose begin to heat up. It wasn’t just his nose—his entire face, along with his neck, felt as though it had been scorched by the blazing sun, red beyond belief.

He awkwardly raised his hand, then let it fall back down, his voice already hoarse beyond recognition: "Ruan Yuan, you should go to sleep... Can you let go of me first?"

"Alright, let’s sleep together." Ruan Yuan, seemingly summoning some unknown strength, pulled him down all at once.

She leaned against him, playing that same game she had indulged in while they were in the car.

By the time Shi Yin realized what was happening, most of his clothes had already been pulled off. He swallowed hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing with difficulty. "Ruan Yuan, we’re not even together yet, this is—" wrong.

But before he could finish his sentence, it was silenced by her.

Their breaths intertwined, faint traces of alcohol mingling and filling their mouths. For a fleeting moment, Shi Yin felt as though he, too, was drunk—and not lightly so.

As he was still grappling with thoughts of how to escape from this intimacy, her hands found and seized control of his most vulnerable, most fatal weakness.

Escape, propriety—everything else vanished entirely from his mind. There was no better solution than to surrender and fall with her, sinking together into the moment.

All of it, every action and every touch, suddenly seemed so natural, whether deliberate or unintentional, as if it had always been meant to be.

The warm noontime sunlight streamed in through the windows, spilling over the double bed in mottled patches of radiance.

A woman with delicate features fluttered her dense lashes and slowly opened her eyes. She frowned lightly and instinctively shielded herself from the brightness.

But in the very next second, she suddenly turned her head, her gaze locking unblinkingly onto the man lying beside her.

Everything from the previous night came flooding back into Ruan Yuan’s mind, piece by piece.

Remembering the shift in the man’s demeanor—from hesitant to wholehearted—brought glimmers of laughter into her eyes, softening the expression on her face.

"Shi Yin, it’s time to wake up." Ruan Yuan kissed his lips, her tone tender as a gentle breeze, wrapping around him, seamless and all-encompassing.

That familiar voice gradually pulled Shi Yin out of unconsciousness. The moment he opened his eyes, he was greeted by the unexpected sight of her face, magnified and so close.

"Not sleeping anymore?" He seemed a little flustered, but the evasiveness in his gaze was gone.

The hand resting around her waist didn’t make even the slightest move to withdraw.

"Mm, it’s time to go to the office." Ruan Yuan took full note of his shift in behavior, and the joy she felt was displayed on her face without any attempt to hide it.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and, like a playful girl, started to act coy. "Shi Yin, my back feels a little sore. Will you help me rub it?"

"I’m sorry..." Guilt and tenderness flickered in Shi Yin’s eyes. His hands, however, moved with utmost care, as though he was afraid of hurting her.

Indeed, last night he had been far too reckless, crossing the line and having her three full times despite her being so thoroughly drunk.

He couldn’t understand it himself, but ever since he had tasted that feeling, he became addicted—unable to stop, no matter what.

"No need to apologize." Ruan Yuan smiled softly, leaning into his ear and murmuring, "Last night, I really enjoyed it."

Though her memories were hazy, the sensation had etched itself into her very soul, unforgettable no matter how much time passed.

Shi Yin’s earlobes flushed crimson at her words. He pinched her cheek lightly in mock reprimand, but in his chest, his heart felt full to the brim because of her.

"Still sore?"

"Mm, a bit more to the right."

Ruan Yuan half-closed her eyes in contentment. She had to admit—it had been a long time since she’d felt this indulgently pampered.

And yet, as his hands continued their ministrations, the atmosphere between them began to shift—soft and ambiguous, like a haze of pink surrounding them, refusing to hold back.

One round of passion later, it was already nearing two in the afternoon.

As Shi Yin was tidying up the sheets, his hands suddenly paused. His eyes were drawn to a glaringly vivid mark, and for a long moment, he simply stared at it.

"Shi Yin, are you done?" The woman’s slightly raspy voice drifted into his ears.

"Yes, almost."

Shi Yin quickly stripped the sheet, handling it with care as if it were a priceless treasure, and tucked it reverently into the bottom of the wardrobe, storing it away.

The first thing he did upon stepping out of the bedroom was to pull the woman into a deep, lingering kiss.

As their lips met and mingled, his hold on her tightened significantly, as though wanting to mold her into his embrace completely.

"Ruan Yuan, I will marry you." His gaze met hers with unwavering sincerity, more serious even than when he negotiated business deals.

That feeling of being cherished so dearly caused Ruan Yuan’s eyes to redden slightly. She replied softly, "I’ll wait for you."
