The Prime Minister Seduced Me to have Babies!
Chapter 73: Living Like Humans
CHAPTER 73: CHAPTER 73: LIVING LIKE HUMANS
Mrs. Zhou had a loud voice, and Qi Lang said everything openly. Everyone just sitting down by Jiang Youzhi’s bed to eat heard it clearly.
San Ya whispered, "Grandma’s scolding again."
Yun Jiao once again felt grateful for the family division; otherwise, she’d be the one scolded at this moment.
Liu Lang’s attention was all on the few dishes in front of him. He eagerly rubbed his hands, "Great, all the dishes are delicious. I feel like every day after the family division is like New Year’s."
Mrs. Chen scolded playfully, "Only you talk so much."
"Let’s eat."
She first fed Jiang Youzhi some eel, and then she started to eat herself.
Yun Jiao couldn’t wait to try the eel, and it tasted quite good.
The crucian carp meatball soup was stewed into a milky white color, sprinkled with green scallions. She took a small bowl and scooped some out, slowly savoring it.
After sipping the soup, Yun Jiao sighed contentedly, inadvertently speaking her mind, "This is what life should be."
San Ya asked innocently, "Big sister-in-law, what kind of life were we living before?"
Yun Jiao thought for a moment, "Before, it was merely surviving; now it’s barely living."
Though this life was still far from her ideal.
San Ya and Liu Lang listened with mixed understanding.
While eating eel, Liu Lang said, "Then I want to live; I never want to just survive like before."
Jiang Youzhi watched Yun Jiao, suddenly feeling that breaking his leg wasn’t entirely a bad thing. Without it, there wouldn’t be a possibility of dividing the family.
Without dividing, how could there be these harmonious days?
Yun Jiao seemed to notice Jiang Youzhi’s gaze and glanced at him.
Jiang Youzhi, for some reason, felt a bit flustered and looked away.
Yun Jiao, unfazed, said, "In another ten days or so, San Lang can sit up to eat."
After eating, Yun Jiao helped bring the dishes to the kitchen. San Ya set up a stool and carefully boiled water to wash the bowls.
Yun Jiao watched for a while, and seeing the dishwashing process was correct, she left at ease.
Liu Lang came running over, somewhat anxious, "I saw Second Uncle, Third Uncle, with Erlang, Si Lang, Wulang, and Qi Lang carrying buckets as they went out. They must be catching eels."
"What to do? With so many of them, the eels will be caught clean, and I won’t catch any tomorrow."
He annoyingly patted his head, "It’s my fault for letting Fourth Brother see me come in with the bucket."
Yun Jiao was about to comfort him when the child started comforting himself, "No problem, they must be catching in their own fields, not going to the riverside."
Yun Jiao smiled and patted his head, "You’re such an optimistic child."
Inside, Jiang Youzhi raised his voice, "Liu Lang, didn’t you want to learn to read? Come on, Third Brother has the energy now."
Liu Lang responded, "Coming."
Yun Jiao returned to the room and began reading.
She had brought quite a few medical books and case files from the Gu Family. The medical books were those her previous world didn’t have, and she planned to spend some time reading all of them.
In the afternoon, Liu Lang watched Erlang and the others carry buckets into the yard.
He craned his neck and saw that inside the bucket there were more than half full of eels.
Liu Lang internally felt a chill, thinking the entire Qingshan Village’s eels must have been caught by them!
After dinner, the kids played in the yard. Qi Lang couldn’t help but show off, "My family ate eel today, it was really delicious."
Liu Lang smiled proudly, "What’s so special about that? We ate eel too, and it was cooked with meat."
