The Red Dragon Just Wants To Do As It Pleases

CHAPTER 469: CHAPTER 276: SAY SOMETHING!_3
He saw a Gold Dragon, retired from the Claw of Justice, wailing as it flew out of the Dragon Nest. It knocked over a group of Metal Dragons ’spectating’ outside the nest, sending them scattering across the sacred, snow-covered ground like bowling pins.
The previously worried Ronatas finally recovered from his astonishment and shock.
Although he didn’t know what those two youngsters, Attilicia and David, had done this time, it was at least satisfying.
He’d had enough of those old dragons for a long time.
When he was young and first entered the Dragon Court, he too had fantasized about doing something for Dragon Island, about changing something.
But in the end, apart from the endless interpretation of divine oracles, it seemed he could do nothing.
"Ronatas, did your Dragon Nest just explode?" a Gold Dragon colleague couldn’t help but ask.
"Ah? AH! SERISILIS!!!" When the stunned Ronatas, looking as if struck dumb, saw his family tightly bound with iron chains, he instantly flew into a rage.
For a moment, he disregarded the prohibitions of the Dragon Court and dove towards Mount Swietlan, all the while roaring thunderously,
"What have you damned beasts done to Serisilis?! By the Dragon God! Look at the repulsive state they’re in!"
But this Silver Dragon Internal Affairs Officer had barely taken off from the Dragon Court, his fury making him ignore the prohibition, when he saw David and his son burst out of the exploded Dragon Nest. They were both wreathed in towering flames and covered in flowing arcs of electricity.
Like wolves among sheep, they began to ’cut a swath’ through the encircling Metal Dragons.
For a time, the area around the Dragon Nest was filled with Dragon Scales drifting down like wilting leaves. Gold and Silver Dragons, paralyzed by electricity, twitched uncontrollably as they crashed to the ground with mournful wails.
If not for the fact that the fallen Gold and Silver Dragons still had enough strength to roll, convulse, and wail, the surrounding Metal Dragons, teetering on the brink of panic, would have thought it was a reenactment of the ancient Dragon War.
"Claw of Justice, forward!"
"Defend the Dragon Court!"
"Protect Princess Alicia!"
Their display of combat prowess was extraordinarily ferocious. This was especially true for David, who had entered a critical state due to ’ignition’; his uncontrolled Mana Energy instantly melted the perennial snow in a three-hundred-meter radius around him.
Steam shrouded the sky, thunder crackled, and Metal Dragons lay wailing all around.
It was simply... as if two demon gods had descended upon the world.
This was a trump card David had originally prepared—either to unify Central Earth in one fell swoop or for the High Elves.
It was so alarming that it even startled the Claw of Justice guarding the Dragon Court.
"Legen...dary?" Ronatas was utterly dumbfounded, completely unable to comprehend how these two youngsters had managed it.
"Princess Alicia!" Just as the Metal Dragons of the Dragon Court began to suspect Attilicia of betraying Dragon Island—believing all this to be a conspiracy by the Chromatic Dragons—and were awaiting a command from the Silver Dragon Princess,
they saw that David and his son had no intention of attacking the Supreme Dragon Court. Instead, under the puzzled gazes of the Metal Dragons, they flew towards the coast, looking like two impatient ’burglars’.
When they saw Attilicia open her own demi-plane, and David and his son—two dragons—racing against time to stuff mountainous piles of war supplies into it,
the entire Supreme Dragon Court, and even the pursuing Claw of Justice, all fell silent.
This was especially true for the Metal Dragons who had just received a sound thrashing.
The frustration in their hearts was indescribable.
If only they had known it was just about this bit of ’loot’ that was supposed to be handed over anyway!
Why didn’t you just say so!
