The Ruined World Was Mistaken for a Game
Chapter 39.2: Heart (4)
Translator: Dreamscribe
Jinwoo arrived on the outskirts of Evanth and revealed himself.
Leon’s daily routine was about to begin.
From now on, he would be roaming almost all day, helping players. And along the way, he also had to progress the buildup leading to his death.
‘Things should get easier now.’
After all, it was nearly the final stage.
Thinking that, Jinwoo approached a player who was hunting. The players he helped were mostly low-level beginners.
“Hello there, Hero.”
“Oh, Le, Leon-nim!”
The beginner player froze upon seeing Jinwoo. He looked like someone gazing at a revered idol. Just as Jinwoo was about to help him.
‘Hmm?’
Players began appearing nearby.
“Hello, Leon-nim.”
“We’ll help too.”
“We heroes have to help each other out.”
They approached the beginner player and began sincerely assisting him. Player helping player was certainly a good thing.
“Leon-nim, here’s a recovery potion.”
“Please take this too.”
They generously gifted high-quality recovery potions, holy water, and various herbs.
“Thank you. But this is too much.”
“Then drink it now. It’s good for you.”
It didn’t end there. Every time Jinwoo moved somewhere, players would appear.
“Oh, Leon-nim! Hello!”
“This area seems dangerous. Let’s go together!”
“Are you heading this way?”
Jinwoo checked their information.

Guild: Shining Prince Leon Protection Alliance Guard Unit 1 (Evanth)
Role: : 1st Unit Field Member
Race: Human
Gender: Female
They were all level 15 or higher and belonged to a guild called the Shining Prince Leon Protection Alliance. The initials "SPL" were written on their armor.
Whenever Jinwoo moved toward a slightly dangerous area, they showed up immediately as if they had been waiting.
His location was being shared in real-time.
‘Leon-nim spotted at 7 o’clock direction of the Evanth Forest Lake.’
‘Heading toward the Goblin Village.’
‘Might head to another village, so please report immediately if sighted.’
‘Leon-nim appears to be unwell. Requesting cleric support.’
‘Official cleric is on the way. Sacred Technique equipped.’
‘Escort team will be deployed the moment Leon-nim enters a danger zone.’
‘Don’t get too close. Leon-nim might feel uncomfortable.’
‘Level 18 archer monitoring with Hawk’s Eye.’
The heroes had even developed an app called “Leon Tracker” and uploaded it to Arsilan Worlds. It was all done out of their sincere care for Leon.
They truly loved Leon with all their hearts.
‘Hmm....’
This was indeed the original purpose, but Leon was receiving more love than Jinwoo had anticipated.
Jinwoo paused in thought.
‘...It’ll be fine.’
Should be fine, right?
Thinking that, he nodded.
Just as Jinwoo was heading toward Evanth, someone came running toward him at full speed. It was a player using the default preset body at level 1.
[Lv.1] AyoungFighting
Race: Human
Gender: Male
‘Searching for Leon.’
According to the records, this was his first login today, and he had been looking for Leon for over 10 hours straight. The connection location showed Soul Link Game Room No. 1.
“Huff, huff! Le, Leon-nim.”
“Is something the matter, Hero?”
"Th-that...."
He seemed at a loss for words. He looked extremely nervous and desperate.
“First, please come this way.”
Jinwoo took him to a quiet place. It was a peaceful spot on the outskirts of Evanth, with a flower garden that made for a pleasant view.
“Is there something I can help you with?”
“Well, um, that is....”
“You may speak freely. I am here to assist you, Hero.”
At Leon’s words, he nodded and began to speak.
When talking to NPCs, filtering was applied. Words that could corrupt Arsilan were automatically blocked or softened. Of course, this didn’t apply to Jinwoo.
“My daughter really, really likes Leon-nim. Um, she’s underg- well, surgery, but um... what do I call it? Ah! She’s getting treatment and recovering, so could you say a word for her?”
Jinwoo’s eyes quivered slightly.
The man swallowed hard. He seemed to think Jinwoo hadn’t understood and his expression darkened.
Right now, Jinwoo was Leon.
Protecting and helping heroes was Leon’s duty.
Even the Immortal Archmage would not have hesitated to repay a hero.
“What is your daughter’s name?”
“Ki, Kim Ah-young. You can just call her Ah-young.”
He fumbled as he tried to turn on the camera. It was his first time using Soul Link, so he was struggling, but Jinwoo waited patiently without saying a word.
“Hello, Ah-young-ssi.”
Jinwoo’s voice was gentle.
“I heard that you are currently enduring the Trial of Light.”
As Jinwoo reached out his hand, light shimmered.
Petals fluttered around and flew toward the light. The petals absorbed the light and turned into a small flower with beautiful colors.
“I will plant this flower for you, Ah-young-ssi. This is the Flower of a Hero. It will bloom beautifully with you, and by the time you visit this place, it will have borne a great fruit.”
The flower in Jinwoo’s hand settled in the center of the flower garden.
“Please come visit with your father. Until then, all the light in the world will be cheering for you, Ah-young-ssi.”
Jinwoo extended his hand and drew a magic circle upon the man’s soul.
It was a sacred technique that healed over a wide area. Though its effectiveness would diminish upon crossing the Soul Gate, it would still have some effect.
“Thank you! Thank you so much!”
Choked with emotion, the man bowed his head and disappeared along with the shimmering light.
Minors were not allowed to access Arsilan Saga.
Jinwoo hoped that one day, when time had passed, Ah-young would be able to come here with her father.
Until that day came, he would protect Arsilan.

A few days later, a post was uploaded to Arsilan Worlds.
Title: A Miracle Happened
Hello, I’m Ah-young’s father, who posted here last time.
My daughter Ah-young has a heart condition, and recently underwent major surgery. She’s lived in the hospital since she was a baby and has struggled a lot, but recently, she’s been smiling more while watching videos of Leon-nim.
I wanted to do something, anything, so I asked Leon-nim for a message of support.
(Attached: Leon-nim’s encouragement video)
They said the surgery would be extremely difficult, but thankfully, even the doctor was shocked at how much she’s recovered! She’s eating well and even walking on her own now. She says she wants to go to school.
Ah-young watches that Leon-nim video more than a hundred times a day.
I want to sincerely thank FS Games and CEO Lee Jinwoo for creating such a beautiful world. And once again, I thank Leon-nim for his support.
To RealLeonLove-nim, who gave up their game room reservation!
Thank you so very much!
Once Ah-young fully recovers, I’ll become a Hero and join you all.
For Arsilan!!!
Thank you, truly.
IronbloodSwordsman: Ah, this is the guy who asked in the game room if he could meet Leon-nim, right?
Anonymous1: I sincerely congratulate you on your daughter’s recovery.
WolfWarrior: Ah-young is a hero too. A mere illness is no match for her.
SilverHelmet: I knew Leon-nim would protect a future hero.
└Anonymous2: For real, when a future hero is in danger, he delivers miracles immediately.
ColaflavoredKimchi: I heard FS Games is starting a medical support program...
Anonymous3: At this point, isn't Leon-nim basically a saint?
JamEater: I cried... I'll protect Arsilan until Ah-young comes...
Leon’s already good image began to spread like wildfire.
Support trucks carrying messages of encouragement kept arriving at FS Games.
The weight of that heartfelt gratitude felt heavy.
“Hmm.”
Well, it should be fine.
Jinwoo, watching out the window from the CEO’s office, thought so.
