Aren received the new memories, and realized that those memories were much related to Black Market.

It was as if the Lord of the Realm Between intentionally left the Memory Crystal in the Black Market, and somehow the owner of Fantastico Merchantio got his hands on it.

'Lord of the Realm Between left behind a money stash… Right in the Black Market… He did not bury it in case someone built a building over it, and instead…'

Aren looked high up. At the rock-made walls that surrounded the Black Market city. Those walls made sure that no avalanche would come and destroy the city below.

In his new memories, he got the exact location of the money stash. It was inside that rock wall. In a very specific spot.

'…From what I can recall, the stash is hidden behind loose stone brick. It's high up, so I must take one of those swing bridges over there.'

Aren took off into a walk, navigated through the maze-like city, and eventually climbed a wood ladder to reach the bridge.

When his feet landed on the swing bridge, he felt slightly dizzy at the sight of the city below his feet.

He wasn't the biggest fan of heights, and these swing bridges didn't seem very stable. They weren't moving much, but it didn't feel like he had any solid ground beneath him.

People moved about in the swing bridges. They had gotten used to walking down these swing bridges. It was clear to everyone that Aren was a tourist compared to them.

'Did deep into memories… Now, where is it?'

Aren massaged his temples, tried to remember, and then he was certain that the Lord of the Realm Between walked down this swing bridge.

He followed the path that his memories showed. Going over the black structures. The bridge creaked under his weight, each step echoing in the dark.

In the end, he reached the outskirts of the city. The swing bridge was right next to the rock walls. Then, he stopped and turned to look at the wall.

'This is the place!'

Aren scratched behind his ear, looked around, and saw that no one was nearby. He then reached out to the wall and tried pulling out a stone brick.

The stone brick slid out easily. There was a dirty brown bag lodged in the hole behind it. He took it out and put the stone brick back inside.

'…The money.'

Aren excitedly checked how much there was inside, and his eyes rounded in surprise after seeing coins and some bank notes there.

This was way more than what he got from robbing Mr. Fortune's money wagons.

'Lord of the Realm Between definitely planned this to end in the hands of his reincarnated self to help himself. In the end, it ended in my hands.

'I probably should feel bad, but…'

Aren shrugged his shoulders, stuffed the brown bag into his backpack, and then slung it over his shoulder again.

It was feeling quite heavy, and now that he was carrying so much money, he was getting quite scared of getting robbed.

This wasn't some small amount that could easily be replaced.

While walking down the swing bridge, he had already received many odd looks. It was clear that people were eyeing him to see whether he was an easy target to rob.

'…I still have to find Transformer. That's why I came here, after all. I do have a nice amount of money now, so maybe I can actually purchase one.'

Aren went down the swing bridge, back to the narrow streets of Black Market, and clutched tightly at the strap of his backpack.

He was looking for more merchant stores, found several, but they weren't selling anything of value to him.

"Hey… Are you interested in getting high?"

At that moment, a drug pipe-holding woman asked him. She was sitting by the corner. In the alley behind her, there were many people just slouched against the wall, looking dazed and out of it.

It was clear that they had taken something they shouldn't have and were currently experiencing the effects.

"Can't say I am interested."

Aren said coldly, brushed past the drug addicts, and quickly made his way out of this part of the city.

The smell was strange there.

They tried dragging him back, but he took off into a run, and after running around a few corners, he escaped them.

'…Weird people. I think I saw a few Earthlings over there. They came over to this foreign land just to do that?'

He clicked his tongue as he thought that they were worthless individuals, and then, he started to make his way back to where he originally came from.

In that moment, as he entered the street, he looked around and happened to look in one direction but then saw something odd.

A group of cold-looking individuals pushed through the crowd. In that moment, one of them looked in his direction, and it was clear that his eyes widened in recognition.

He whispered to the leader of the group. That guy then also looked over. And then they started clearly heading in his direction.

'They are looking for me? Why? For the money? No, there was no one there who saw me with that money, I made sure of it.

'…Could it be Betrayer?'

Aren ran back to the narrow alleyways, made his way deep into the maze of streets, and then he ripped the Human Flesh Mask out of his face.

He returned back to his ordinary self, and his clothes also changed.

Then, he put the Human Flesh Mask back on. This time around, he made himself look like a scary thug with tattoos running down his arms, face, and torso.

The clothes were ripped and torn. The chest was bare, the sleeves were cut short, and the pants were ripped at the knees.

"…That bastard. I tapped my forehead and saw that they were all Blessed Ones."

Aren leaned on the wall, put the backpack behind his legs, and then he crossed his arms.

If anyone met him on the streets, they would definitely try to avoid him like the plague.

Footsteps came. The group of people came around the street. They noticed Aren, but since he was in his new disguise, they didn't recognize him.

"Hey… Did you see some guy run over here?"

The leader of the group asked with a rough voice.

"…Yeah, I did. That way."

Aren's voice was deep and rumbling. He pointed to his left.

"Thanks…"

The leader said, and with his group following after him, they headed in that direction, quickly disappearing from sight.

Aren quickly picked up his backpack and headed back to the main street, quietly disappearing into the crowd.
