CHAPTER 66: BUGGED

Luca’s POV....

"Is that everything?" I asked and she nodded, when we heard the door, Olivia already convinced me that her so-called friend didn’t see her following her today and I had hope so.

If she did, she would not be here.

"Liv, what are you doing?." Her friend asked, I glanced at her statue and her hands, it looked a little rough for someone who is only a stripper and it looked like there was a cut in her palm, one that was recent, which means she has been into something rough or she tortured someone.

Her face, covered in make up, but her lips, it looked like her upper lip has been busted, a little bit, she covered with right opening the perfect shade of lipstick and her hair, it looked neat from where I am standing, when I stared at her even more, I realized that her hair as a bit of sand on it.

"Can you tell him to stop staring at me?" She said against her breath. She is filled with anger and she just convinced me that she is not a normal wolf, I can hear her wolf beating through her, after that anyone should which meant, she came here as fast as she could and she had been running for a while.

Why would she come here fast? It didn’t feel right, and I know I am never wrong when it comes to any of this, and I don’t trust Natalie, I never did from the moment I saw her

What did we talk about when we got there?

How will Olivia stay with me and how do I want her close at all times?

She heard.

"Olivia is leaving." I breathed out, she turned to look at me and then at Olivia, her eyes were on mine before she looked away and her eyes met Olivia.

"Tell me you are joking Liv, you are really going to be with him after all he has done to you."

"What did he do to me?" Olivia asked and I smiled, I would love to hear all about that, she didn’t know what to say without contradicting herself, without looking like she knew everything.

"You told us he hurt you and you didn’t have to go into details because for days you could not sleep when you came here, you got lost all the time and then you cried every night, I heard you cry and the make-up really doesn’t cover up much ."

"Luca is good for me and he has always been good for me, we has a just a little misunderstanding and that was it, you know how relationships works Natalie, how you would think he did or he said something just to find out that he didn’t and by the time you realise that, you thank God that it’s not even too late to figure that out, Luca is good, he cares for me."

"He made you cry and all he wants is control." She said and I rolled my eyes at her, I wanted to set her straight yet I didn’t because of the fact, this is between her and Olivia.

I trust Olivia to make her listen, to tell her what to do.

"So you are leaving."

"Not yet, I still love being in this town, it’s calm and enjoy it, I want to be here for a while before I figure out if I want to stay forever or not, but we can still be friends Natalie, I care about you and i understand that you are worried about me that’s why you hate Luca, but if you talk to him, you will realise that he is a good man." She smiled.

I guess her being here has been good to her, she learnt how to be sassy, she learnt how to speak for herself without being scared or worried that someone would yell at her, she is strong like I always wanted her to be.

"How about Seb, you know he has been trying to reach out to you, to apologize for what he has done and you can’t even give him a chance, he cares for you," Natalie added.

I hate even his name, and I know that he is up to no good and I know when he finds out that she has moved in with them, he is not going to like it, he would be filled with anger and he would do all he came to make her listen to him, like he tried to that night.

"Is that all, we will be leaving, you can always come and visit Olivia whenever you feel like it, she is your friend," I added before I looked away.

She has changed me, because I am able to suppress the thoughts I had when all I wanted to do was place my hand against her neck, when all I wanted to do was make sure she is dead and make her pay for what she had done, but I can’t, not yet Olivia and for Olivia.

We headed out of the room and we wasted no time in heading into my car, I know a better place to stay, and I can be sure that if he is hiding anything, I would find out while I am there, I already called Ares and anyone else that I needed.

All I wanted was to make sure that, we do this right this time, how did they know Olivia was our choice this time unless they have been following her from the moment she has been in the city, it can’t be a coincidence.

"Where are you taking us?"

"To a better place and not a place that is owned by the man that wants nothing but to sleep with you and make you his," I said in disgust as she rolled her eyes at me,

Did his parents know about what he has been doing, I know they didn’t trust him enough for him to have everything in his power yet and I know for sure that he will do all he can to have his name on every property.

Olivia’s POV....

"Did she ever give you ever gift, even if it’s little?" Luca asked and I shook my head,

"Uhm she did give me a necklace but I left it on my nightstand." I breathed out when my mind replayed a memory in my mind. "Stop the car, Luca." I breathed out.

I wasted no time in rushing out of the car and he did the same.

"She mentioned something before I followed her. She said you came back because you wanted to beg me and all of that, the way she said it, it felt like she knew what was going on, she heard what was going on.

"You think she bugged the car." He asked and I nodded. We talked about it in the car. "Or your house."

"Can’t be my home, I made sure it was not bugged and I have a device that I used all over the place to make sure that there is no fishy activity going on, and there is a camera hidden in every room, just in case I leave the house and someone is there." He explained.

He turns to stare at the car and I did the same too, it’s the car; it has to be, they could have done it while he was sleeping, they could have done it while he was distracted with me.

They could have had a lot of chances to do any of this.

"What should we do?" I asked, as I glanced at her the car again, where could we go, we can’t hail a cab, we can’t go back to the apartment, and right now it seemed like we were stranded.

"Get in."

"Luca- I don’t care if they find out where we are going to, I am not hiding from anyone, and I am not scared of anyone, I would not let him control us, if he wants a war, he can come to me," Luca said cutting me off, I know for sure he is not about to listen to what I have to say, he is going to do this

I glanced at him without saying a word when we walked into the car, he had his hand on mine, I trust him and I know that he is not going to hurt me and he would not let anyone hurt me either.

It took an hour for us to get to the place, it’s a cottage house, how did he even know about some place like this, I had thought he had never been here before.

I glanced at him again.

"What’s wrong Luca?" I asked.

"Nothing, I have to make some calls to make sure that everything is fine, to be sure that he would not be able to hurt me." I breathed out. And I nodded.

I walked further into the house, my body shivering with cold.
