CHAPTER 84: SOMEONE IS HERE

"We have a war on our hands and we are not going to lose to it, my uncle will do all he can to prove that. I am a horrible leader and he never killed my grandmother, your loyalty will be tested."

"It doesn’t matter Alpha, we have worked with you for years, you are our family and we would rather be with you than an uncle that was banished away from the family." Someone yelled from the bank of the room and Luca nodded.

They were all speaking one by one, they didn’t want his uncle to take over.

"The future of the pack lies on us, if I die and Olivia dies too, he will take over, it’s his rightful throne, he is the only one directly blood related and he will kill every one of you if you don’t listen to him, he never cared for his family, he will not care about yours either, I will not hide a single thing from any of you, I am done trying to protect some part of the truth, I have no solid evidence that he killed his mom but Ares saw it and I was there when he threatened to hurt her, we are never going fo let him win, this may be the biggest war we are yet to deal with and I need to know all of you are with him," Luca yelled again and they nodded.

I had hoped they meant every word and every thought that they had.

I watched as Luca discussed the plan with them, they are going to slowly infiltrate his uncle’s home, we are going to start with kidnapping one of his guards, and with the use of some makeup, we will be able to get one of our guards to look like him, so he can replace him in the house.

We didn’t fully trust Patrick and this is our best shot.

"I would say go for someone who knows less, it’s faster and easier and it would not lead to many questions being asked," Ares suggested as he looked away from me and I nodded.

I watched as they spoke again, I didn’t talk because I didn’t have anything to say, the plan had seemed perfect and Luca and I had gone over it, a thousand times before he told the men about it.

"We start tonight, Patrick would be at a night club where he would be having fun, this is our chance to get one of his gaurds, he is going into an illegal night club, it’s secluded and he is buying it out for the rest of the night, it’s just going to be him, his men and the dances Luca expressed.

"We have a way to go in, the night club is connected to the old tunnels down by the streets, your guys will go through it, you will hide while you are at it and make your movements very scared, and Luca and I would be out there, making sure that the cctv camera are hacked so no one can see any of you, you grab the nearest man you see and you bring him back, it would take four to six hours to make any of you look like him and after that, during that question would be asked," I explained.

"Four to six hours, Patrick would realize that his guard is missing and the guard he has friends with too, they would realize that he is gone," Ares spoke, he didn’t like my input, too bad that this is all Luca and it’s never me, he didn’t have to sound judgmental about it.

"Well Ares since you are asking, and I am sure the rest of the men have the same question in their mind, they are at a night club to take off some steam, we would make it look like he is with one of the dancers and I am sure they are all connected to a phone, it would be easy to make it sound like he left his phone one and hearing a few things is more than enough for them to all switch it off." I expressed and the men smiled.

Ares didn’t like that, he had always enjoyed it better if I didn’t know anything, if I were dumb, he was going to have to get it over with.

"Is that all, because we are leaving now and I don’t need any masala, I don’t want any excuses and I need it to be as perfect as I could possibly think about, I don’t need anyone giving me any form of excuses and if you know you can’t handle it, you leave the fucking room right now," Luca said and no one moved.

I knew they would not move, they feared him and this is about their pack.

It took us three hours to get out of the house, I am not leaving the van so Luca didn’t feel worried about me and we are not leaving through the door, it’s through the safe route so it’s faster and no one will see us.

I had hoped this would work and I had hoped that, Luca would get what he wanted.

"Ready," Luca said to his men, he whispered a few encouraging words into their ears before they headed out of the place.

One of the best things about being a leader is that, he controlled everything and everyone wanted his approval, Not only that Patrick is not that smart because you can’t walk into someone’s city and think you can behave the way you want, every eye is on you and no one will defend you in exchange for their life.

I glanced at the screen waiting and watching. I felt a wave of disgust wash over me when I saw Patrick and a girl young enough to be his daughter dancing against him, she didn’t look any happier.

I wanted him dead

"That’s our guy," I said and he nodded, we are about four in this van, me and Luca with Ares, and one of his other guards, the rest are spread across the place, making sure to stand guard, they are hidden though so no one will know,

Just like we were, stationed behind one of the buildings, this one has been abandoned for years and and it’s a block away from the club.

"What is he doing?." I asked when I watched him speak to the guard, he is not meant to talk to him.

"Keep watch, he is improvising. Someone is close or can be near and he can’t make a fuss about it." Luca stated,

Patrick’s guard was not on alert, he didn’t even feel scared or worried, he didn’t even try to look for help, to him he was having a conversation with someone that could be a male stripper, I guess we know where he swings making it even easier.

I watched as someone passed them and he didn’t even speak, he had a woman with him and I guess his colleague didn’t seem scared so no one was worried about it.

"He is taking him," I whispered when I watched them head toward another door, this is even more interesting than I had imagined and I am loving every part of it.

"Done." Luca smiled. "Now we wait, they will bring hun to the other can and it’s a good thing that the guard saw him, so now he thinks he is having fun somewhere else, and no one would even be worried, they are all drunk and high and I doubt that anyone would say a word about it," Luca explained and I smiled.

Things are even better than I expected.

"Ares go find them and make sure all devices that the guard is with are turned off, and not only that, also make sure that you keep checking to see if anyone followed the other side of the place, you never know who could have seen them, take the guard with you."

"Will you be okay alone?" Ares asked as I am not here, he didn’t have to worry about us, it’s nothing and they would hardly be gone,

"I will be fine and make sure to turn on the device after thirty minutes to check if there are any new messages and reply to all of them, so they won’t raise an alarm." He said and they nodded.

The moment they left, I placed my lips on Luca’s I felt so much better and it felt like we were finally about to win.

Luca and I rested on the chair staring at the footage, it’s disgusting, Patrick into engrossed with someone half his age, all of his other men didn’t even care as they forced the women.

"Something feels wrong." Luca suddenly said.

"This is you trying to sabotage it, you know it’s fine and nothing is wrong Luca, we are watching all of them. We know what is going on"

I should have listened to Luca because the next time we heard was the sound of the car being turned on before we could react. We fell to the ground due to the way the car took a turn.

Someone is driving the car.
