CHAPTER 86: SHE NEEDS TO BE OKAY FOR ME

Luca’s POV....

I paced across the room, waiting for the doctor to give me some type of good news, I know my Olivia and I know that she is a fighter, I know that she would let me be alone unrivaled horrible world and and if she is gone, I would go with her.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard a pair of footsteps heading toward me and I glanced up, My eyes met Ares.

"You need a shower Luca and I would stay here and watch guard." He said and I shook my head.

"I am not leaving her, what if she wakes up or the doctor needs to tell me something, I can always take a shower when I know that she is fine, but for now, I need to stay better, she is hurt." I breathed out, my voice almost breaking when I shook my head

I can’t break down in the presence of anyone, she is the only one who can see me break down.

"The men need you, your plan was a success and they need to know what to do next."

"You tell them want to do, for now I stay where I am and it’s too soon to do anything, they stay put because Patrick knew we are on to him and he knows that we come there without a good reason, so stay put, don’t speak to any of us until I personally contact him and no one should do anything, you go tell them that Ares," I said. "I don’t want to yell, all I can think about is her," I stated.

I glanced at him as his eyes met mine and I watched as he tipped the message.

"You need to learn to work without me." I finally said, I saw when she was thinking about our lives, the way she smiled, she is not going to die by only thinking about how great our lives would have been, I want her to be alive to see all of it happen, to have little arguments about how the interior of the house should be, I never cared about that but I would love for her to have that argument with me.

"What do you mean, don’t tell me it’s what I think? The paint is your life, it’s your soul purpose and you fought to get what you want, how do you think the men will feel if you are going to absorb all of us, you talk about us being a family and you want to do this."

"I could lose her because of this family, no one matters to me but her, and I am not abandoning anyone, I am giving space, I want us to have the life that she always wanted, I want her to be happy mad if you had found someone you love like I love her, you would do the same."

"You would leave all of us for her, why, because she is the savior or your curse, there are many like her, we just have to find."

"What?" I breathed out.

"I found," Ares said and I stared at him with shock written all over my face. "I found a rejected omega that has been rejected once. She has white fur, she would be perfect to keep your curse at bay, she would choose to be with you without even being forced, all she needs is money, she won’t even stay here with you, she would still keep you safe."

"Give me one good reason why I should not kill you Aress for saying something like this, did you ever ask me before doing this, did I ask you to find me another mate, I don’t need anyone but her, I would rather have the curse a thousand times than not to be with her," I spoke.

I didn’t want to yell, I didn’t want to let my anger get the best of me, I wanted to blow the stems off and have a conversation with him.

"Why do you hate her? Why don’t you ever want me to be happy? She makes me happy, when she left, I was miserable and I ma sure you helped her leave, you see her as a horrible person but she still won’t snitch on you, she almost has me convinced that she left all alone without anyone’s help, and you and I know that she is lying."

"She makes you weak; she makes you think with your heart and you have turned into something else, did you ever think why your father didn’t get as great as you, because he was always in love, he let your mother control his decision, you have achieved a lot of things as half of them your father didn’t get to it because he would not make tough decision. Because your mother was always there to stop him from doing that." Ares spoke.

"Is it so bad because he lived a happy life and he died with her by his side, they may have been horrible parents, what am I saying they are horrible parents but they always had each other and if she was able to ever move on it’s because she had someone like him," I stated. "You see it as a weakness and I see it as strength, a king is meat to love and protect their king, maybe you would be better off is Patrick is your leader because then you never have to worry about love because he cares about anyone but himself, but a man like him, he would fall for someone too, what wil you do then Ares, love is inevitable," I stated.

"I don’t want Patrick, he would ruin all of us."

"You want Olivia gone, did you ever think that by letting her run away she would be safe, she could have gotten killed but you didn’t care, you saw it as an opportunity, you thought of your selfish needs".

"I thought about the pack and they may not see it but I do and you just confirmed it, you are willing to leave all of us, all that we have worked for just to be with her, you fought to be here Luca, and no matter what you say, I have seen you at your lowest and your highest, I know you better than she ever will and yet you choose her." He said bitterly.

"Because she is my savior and I know right now you hope that she would be dead, it’s enough for me that you wish someone I care about would die, she never was bad to you, she is always good to you and she would never speaks horribly of you but you, you didn’t seem to care about her, you should care because she is always going to be with me, one day she will carry the heir and you will protect that heir, you can’t be here if you would hate the mother to my life, the one I cherish and I love, how would you protect my kids if you hate their mother, you will probably leave them to die, to fend themselves so you would scat revenge from her, tell me Ares, what did she ever do to her, don’t lie to me, don’t tell me she makes me weak, it’s is rather more personal, why do you have so much hate for her, because if anyone could see, she makes me better, she makes me want to fight, want to win, she makes me want to achieve ever little thing."

"No matter what you say, you can’t ignore the fact that, you will throw all of us away for her, how do you think the men will react to that?"

"The same way they will even I tell them that I would leave you in charge but I didn’t think so anyone, you would never be able to protect us, you will protect me but you will never understand is this there is no me without her, I had thought so hard about about it and I wanted you to take over and handle the affairs because there is no one better than you, you will probably send enemies to my home so I would be pulled back to the pack."

"You underestimate the care I have for you and if I have allowed her to leave you in the past it’s because she wanted to, she is not a kid, you can’t blame me for her leaving."

"So you agree that you helped her leave," I smirked, I should have known better, I knew that someone like him would do that. "Now you make me question our friendship and every little thing we have been through, I don’t think I could leave my pack for you, and I want you to leave here. She would soon be awake and I am sure she would rather not see your face." I stated
