With a loud 'boom', the tomb was completely blown open.

A rotten coffin was shattered, revealing a white skeleton inside!

Kingsley held his breath. He waved his wand a few times, clearing away the surrounding dirt to fully expose the skeleton to the air.

As an experienced Auror, he didn't bother looking elsewhere… his gaze fixed directly on the pelvic region.

This was the most straightforward evidence to determine whether the skeleton had belonged to a man or a woman in life.

And with just one glance at the pelvis, Kingsley felt dizzy!

He staggered, nearly falling backward!

Even though he had subconsciously believed Severus's words before arriving, the undeniable evidence before him now left him reeling with shock and dread.

'It's true!'

'Barty Crouch Jr., the Death Eater who should have died in Azkaban long ago, was actually his mother in disguise!'

As an Auror, Kingsley knew all too well the uproar this would cause if it were made public.

Since its establishment, not a single prisoner had ever managed to escape from Azkaban.

For over two hundred years, nearly every Minister for Magic had regarded it as an impenetrable fortress, and the wizarding public had always believed that the most dangerous criminals locked away there were utterly secure.

However, this so-called 'inescapable' prison had already been breached long ago!

Barty Crouch Jr. was the first confirmed prisoner in Wizarding World's history to have escaped from Azkaban!

And his identity made it even more shocking… his escape had only been possible because of the abuse of power by his father, Barty Crouch Sr., one of the highest-ranking officials in the Ministry!

"Is this evidence enough for you, Kingsley?"

Severus just stared into Kingsley's eyes. His tone was indifferent, clearly unsurprised by the outcome. The only reason he had brought Kingsley along to Azkaban was to ensure everything was in place for their next move.

Kingsley's face was pale. It took him a long time to recover from the staggering revelation.

Clenching his wand tightly, he said coldly, "What he did is a disgrace to his past! If he truly couldn't bear to lose his son, why did he pass such a harsh judgment in the first place?!"

"As a father, he might have been able to make a ruthless decision, but as a husband, he couldn't refuse his dying wife's final wish."

Severus spoke calmly.

"Sometimes, that's just how it is. There are moments when people are forced to make impossible choices."

Taking several deep breaths, Kingsley finally steadied himself.

His expression hardened as he turned to Severus.

"Do we reveal their crimes to the world now?"

"If you're truly resolved, and don't care about the backlash for arresting your superior's superior without authorization, then we can move at any time."

Hearing Severus' words, Kingsley didn't hesitate at all. He picked up the lantern and strode back the way they had come.

"I've never cared about that!"

Isle of Man.

Also known as Mann, this island lies in the sea between England and Ireland. In some contexts, it is grouped with Great Britain and Ireland as one of the British Isles.

On the northernmost part of the island, near the North Channel, there lay a place untouched by Muggles for over twenty years.

Originally, this had been a private artificial forest. But in the 1970s, after a man feared by all in the British Wizarding World set foot on the island, the forest vanished from Muggle's maps entirely… transformed into a hidden stronghold for a certain organization.

Using the Portkey, Greyback and the werewolves gasped for breath as they escaped to this place.

Fury burned within Greyback, his mind consumed by hatred for Severus Snape… so much so that he even forgot the traitor had been accompanied by someone he knew.

"Damn it!! The Dark Lord won't let him get away with this! That bloody traitor!!!"

The other werewolves looked equally shaken, their faces pale with the terror of a narrow escape. One of them, whose arm severed by Severus's curse, lay on the ground howling in pain.

Lupin, who had arrived earlier under the guard of three werewolves, stood protectively in front of the children, watching Greyback silently.

"Who did you run into?" He asked.

"Severus Snape!" Greyback snarled.

Hearing that name yet again, after what felt like the hundredth time today, Lupin, who had thought himself numb to it by now, stiffened slightly.

Behind him, Harry instinctively craned his neck forward before quickly pulling back.

"I thought everything he said during the Ministry trial was just an act! All lies! But he really has become the Aurors' lapdog!"

Greyback panted heavily, his face twisted with rage. But soon, his expression smoothed over, replaced by a chilling smirk.

"But he's still in the dark… he has no idea about the Dark Lord's return. Does Snape really think he's safe now? He's dreaming!"

"Pierre, you stay behind with four others. The rest of you, come with me!"

Lupin, quickly regaining his composure, watched as Greyback prepared to leave again, clearly planning some new move. He wanted to ask what they were going to do-

But as if reading his mind, Greyback suddenly turned back to him before departing.

"Remus… don't you think it's all a bit too convenient? How did Snape find our seaside hideout?"

At that moment, every muscle in Lupin's body tensed. His back was already drenched in sweat… yet his face remained calm and composed!

"You suspect a man without a wand?"

Greyback just stared at him, his gaze boring into Lupin's eyes.

"I've told you before… you're not like the other werewolves. Who knows what you're capable of, wand or not? Consider this your final warning. If the Aurors, or Snape, track us here, whether it's your doing or not, I'll make sure you suffer first!"

"Move out. And those staying behind… keep a tight grip on your wands!"

With that last threat, Greyback didn't linger. He Apparated with his followers, vanishing into thin air.

Hearing his warning, the remaining werewolves, who are now on high alert, glared at Lupin with hostility.

Lupin ignored their gazes. He just sat down quietly and helped Jimmy, the child next to him who still had a low fever, wrap his clothes tightly. Then, in a light tone, he said to the children, "Well… it seems our promised roast beef lunch isn't happening after all."
