Leaving behind a host of bewildered journalists, Su Yanyi and Qin Jiran had said what they wanted to say and then left promptly and decisively.

The journalists left behind began to exercise their full imagination, conjuring up countless explosive headlines, with Qin Jiran and Su Yanyi undoubtedly being the protagonists. However, the parties involved didn’t seem to care, at least Su Yanyi’s concerns were different from everyone else’s.

"Why aren’t you happy?" Su Yanyi and Qin Jiran were walking one after the other, their direction uncertain, when suddenly Su Yanyi asked this very abruptly.

Qin Jiran was genuinely taken aback by the question but recovered quickly. After all, Su Yanyi had been acting abnormally recently, and he had almost grown accustomed to her strange questions.

"Yanyi, what’s wrong?"

"If you’re happy, you should smile, having no expression is an illness!" Facing Qin Jiran’s bewildered and slow response, Su Yanyi expressed her annoyance. She had gone through a lot of effort to hold this press conference, openly revealing their marriage so candidly, yet this man didn’t even have a smile on his face. Instead, he looked somewhat cold, as if this matter wasn’t anything to be happy about!

The more Su Yanyi thought about it, the more annoyed and disappointed she became, her usually indifferent eyes starting to sharpen, gaining a brightness that was intimidating.

And Qin Jiran, who had been called sick, didn’t pay attention to Su Yanyi’s words at all, as he was completely captivated by her eyes, unable to extricate himself.

Yanyi was really beautiful, not just her appearance, but the beauty of her aura, sharp and intimidating, unique and unparalleled. Just that look in her eyes was enough to occupy all of his mind.

"Yanyi..." Qin Jiran murmured softly, completely involuntarily.

Su Yanyi frowned, her heart suddenly racing a few beats faster, then looked at Qin Jiran with confusion, finding this man really difficult to figure out. He didn’t laugh when he should, and even after she called him sick, he wore such a strange expression. Could he truly be sick?

Thinking about the times this man had assumed she was ill, Su Yanyi couldn’t help but feel that compared to her, this man seemed to be the sicker one.

The two seemed to silently agree on the point that the other was sick, but beyond that, they probably didn’t even know how to spell the word "tacit agreement." Their conversations always felt like a chicken talking to a duck, causing the onlookers to feel truly anxious.

"President Su, Mr. Qin, if you have something to discuss, maybe you should go to the office. Ahem, there are many people here." Kang Zhong had been in the background the whole time, but seeing the state between the two, he couldn’t help but interject. Of course, what he couldn’t restrain more was the desire to laugh. Why did he find his boss and her husband to be so adorably clueless?
