CHAPTER 252: CHAPTER 255 INSTINCT OF LOVE (6)
Koa Jackson’s heart softened.
He ruffled her hair, pulled her close into his arms, and coaxed softly, "We’re not going to Cloudy Capital. I plan to take you to South Mountain to watch the sunrise, okay? Do you want to go?"
"Watch the sunrise?" Mia Ginger’s voice carried a hint of incredulous excitement as she asked.
"Yes, watch the sunrise." Koa Jackson let out a breath of relief, "Didn’t you just say that those pictures of the sunrise looked beautiful?"
"They’re very pretty." Mia Ginger instantly became cheerful, affectionately clutching his arm, her voice soft, "So let’s go watch the sunrise, shall we? I’ve never seen a sunrise before. I’ve never been to South Mountain either."
"Okay." Koa Jackson smiled, "Let’s eat first, what do you want?"
"How about meat buns?"
"How about something else?"
"Uh," Mia Ginger laughed sheepishly, "how about steak? Brother Jackson likes these, right?"
"Do you like it?" Koa Jackson asked.
"Whatever you like, I like." Mia Ginger squinted her eyes with a smile.
Koa Jackson was momentarily stunned, he looked at her steadily, then pinched her cheek lightly, smirking, "Such sweet words? Where did you get this skill for speaking sweet nothings spontaneously?"
"Hehe." Mia Ginger giggled foolishly, stood on tiptoe to get closer to him, whispered, "It’s the instinct of love, Brother Jackson."
Koa Jackson’s heart skipped a beat.
He hugged her tightly, looked down and said, "Let’s go, I’ll take you to eat soup dumplings."
Mia Ginger was stunned, her heart melting as sweet as honey, she held his hand and headed towards where the car was parked.
Koa Jackson backed the car out of the parking spot, seeing her idle, he said indifferently, "There’s a gift for you in the back seat."
"Ah?" Mia Ginger was taken aback, quickly turned her head to look.
She reached over and carefully picked up the hard plastic bag onto her lap.
Looking at it, she was surprised, "A DSLR camera."
"Do you like it?" Koa Jackson glanced at her.
"Yes, yes." Mia Ginger nodded earnestly, "I was just thinking about buying one recently. It seems fun to take photos, I want to learn."
"If you want to learn, I can teach you."
"No need, you’re so busy at work. I can ask Allen if I have questions; he’s very professional."
Koa Jackson glanced at her but said nothing.
Mia Ginger glanced at him suspiciously, puzzled, after a while, she asked softly, "What’s wrong? Why did you stop talking all of a sudden?"
"Is my photography skill not enough to guide you?" Koa Jackson suddenly asked.
Uh...
Mia Ginger pressed her lips thoughtfully, a flash of insight crossed her mind, and she couldn’t help but laugh, "Brother Jackson, are you jealous?"
"No." Koa Jackson said seriously.
"Really not?" Mia Ginger ruffled her hair looking at him, "I think you’re jealous."
"That’s an illusion." Koa Jackson replied succinctly.
He refused to admit it.
Nonsense, how could he be jealous of his cousin?
With Allen’s intermittent mental state, what point can compare with him?
He must have some confidence in this.
Koa Jackson remained composed.
Mia Ginger looked at his elegant side profile, couldn’t help but smile, feeling happy, she didn’t argue with him and turned her head to watch the dazzling night scenery outside the window.
——
Just after nine, they finished their meal.
Bought two bottles of water from the supermarket, and set off again.
Close to eleven, Koa Jackson parked the car at the scenic area parking lot at the foot of South Mountain.
