After sending the message, Mia Ginger logged off QQ, turned off her phone, and got into bed.

As soon as she climbed up, she paused.

Windsor Myres was hugging her pillow and sleeping in the opposite direction, right at Mia’s feet.

They shared a bed, usually sleeping foot-to-foot.

"I’m sleeping here; Mina Lee snores too loudly. It’s too noisy over there," Windsor awkwardly explained as Mia climbed into bed.

Mia couldn’t help but laugh and snuggled under the covers.

"Hey!" Windsor pulled off her blanket, grumbling, "You need to sleep on this side too! Your feet stink!"

"You’re the one who stinks," Mia sat up, speechless, "I don’t have smelly feet at all!"

"But you still have to sleep on this side!" Windsor insisted.

Mia raised an eyebrow at her, grabbed her blanket and pillow, and changed direction, teasing, "If you want me to sleep on this side, just say so. No need for silly excuses."

"I do what I want," Windsor tugged the blanket and lay down, satisfied.

Mia lay down too, head-to-head with Windsor.

There’s just a short distance between them; if one reached out, they could easily touch the other’s face.

It seems -

Only Zoey Leaf had ever been this close to her.

Mia’s random thoughts made her mood feel suddenly sour; she turned over, facing the wall, lying on her side.

Windsor, being a sleepyhead, quickly drifted into dreamland.

The dorm quieted down.

In fact, none of the other four were asleep.

Strangely, it seemed as though, in the blink of an eye, the two who had always been at odds suddenly made peace?

It was simply unbelievable.

Mina Lee, being thick-skinned, just thought about it briefly.

Wren King couldn’t sleep, tossing and turning, troubled by Windsor’s half-hour call with Camden River earlier, biting her lip and silently shedding tears under the covers.

Wren was still thinking about Mia’s photo, suddenly feeling a bit scared of Blair Chester.

Blair was also awake.

She usually fell asleep early, but tonight she couldn’t sleep at all.

After Mia Ginger and Windsor Myres made up, school life became much more comfortable.

They still bickered, but without the previous hostility.

Friday afternoon.

Koa Jackson was on a business trip and hadn’t returned.

Mia had time off, and she went straight home to the Ginger Family.

Perhaps because of the signing event the day after tomorrow, Zuri Ginger seemed radiant. When Mia got home, Zuri was sitting on the living room sofa, chatting cheerfully with Charlotte Chester.

Seeing Mia return, Zuri stood up and smiled, saying, "Mia’s back!"
