CHAPTER 413: CHAPTER 423: ANOTHER TWIST (5)

When you finally don’t want it, you suddenly can’t let go.

Having decided to be a single mom raising her kid, she then bumped into her ex-boyfriend’s wedding with that little bitch.

She was heartbroken and fell into severe depression.

Fled in panic.

Before leaving, she left the child at the door of an orphanage.

After all, she was too young and proud, keeping such a big thing from even her family.

Now twenty years have passed, and this child, like a knot in her heart, always stays with her, feeling painful every time she thinks of it.

Aurora Cooper took a long breath.

Amy in front turned to look at her and asked, "Chairwoman, the meeting with the Cloud Sky Group’s person in charge can’t be delayed any longer. I’ve scheduled it for tomorrow at 10:30 in the morning. Is that okay?"

Aurora came back to her senses and rubbed her temples, nodding, "Alright, you go ahead and schedule it."

"Got it." Amy finally breathed a sigh of relief.

——

Mia Ginger strolled leisurely to the supermarket.

Windsor Myres happened to call.

She took off her hat, gloves, and mask, stuffed them into her bag, and answered the call.

Windsor was yelling furiously on the other end, "Mia, where are you? Didn’t I say I’d come help you move stuff this afternoon!"

Her voice was so loud it could almost burst eardrums.

Mia quickly held the phone away a bit and explained, "There’s not much stuff, I’ve already moved it all. Didn’t want to disturb you and Camden River’s lovey-dovey time."

"I don’t even know what to say to you." Windsor asked, frustrated, "Where are you now?"

"Supermarket."

"Which supermarket?"

"Hmm, at the intersection of Accordion Road and Enlightenment Avenue, there’s a Hao You Duo, you know it?" Mia frowned, thought for a moment, and gave the address.

"I know it." Windsor laughed directly, "Camden and I will head over now, we’ll stay at your place tonight."

"Huh?"

"What do you mean ’huh’." Windsor hummed, "Aren’t we parting soon? I want to take him to a hotel, but he’s so picky and just doesn’t want to, so I had no choice. I’ll bring him to help you, then it’s too late to go back."

"Uh..."

"Am I not clever?" Windsor laughed heartily, "Quick, give my wit a thumbs up."

Mia: "..."

"Alright, that’s it for now." Hearing her silence, Windsor said, "I’ll come over with him now. Oh, do you have bed sheets and quilts over there?"

"Yes."

"Ok."

Mia hung up the phone and rubbed her forehead with her hand.

Why does something feel off?

Thinking for a long time, she still couldn’t remember answering Koa Jackson’s call at the coffee shop. Frowning, she went ahead and wandered around the supermarket.

Before long——

Windsor Myres and Camden River arrived together.

Looking down into her shopping cart, Windsor went to the food section, bought a bunch of snacks, and threw them in.

Mia gave her a look, speechless, "Can’t you pick some nutritious stuff?"

"Oil, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, pots, plates..." Windsor muttered to herself, "Mia, are you planning to start living the life of a housewife in advance?"

"..." Mia pouted, "These are all indispensable."

"You’re not really planning to live there permanently, are you?" Windsor gave the shopping cart to Camden, pulled Mia along and said as they walked, "Why should you? What did you do wrong? It’s that white lotus sister of yours who should leave. Why are you moving out from a perfectly good place?"
