CHAPTER 74: FATED

Liam looked at Peter as he left but couldn’t settle his mind at all. How did they end up falling for the same woman? But then, Jane is such an outstanding woman and he is sure there are many more men out there in love with her.

He sighed and walked back to the table where he saw the five families interacting and even laughing.

Grandma Lu noticed Liam’s situation and asked him, attracting the attention of the rest.

"What is wrong my boy?"

Liam looked around and realized Jane, Rose and Chloe were still on stage discussing something.

He sighed and looked at them, "Peter and I fell for Jane without knowing it."

"WHAT!"

They all shouted in unison as mother Zhang started searching for Peter, "Where is my boy Liam?"

He pointed the direction Peter headed to and the woman was about to rush for her son but she turned and faced Liam before leaving, "These situations occur Liam, you are not to blame my boy. I am sure if my son chose to give up then you two are fated to be but I am warning you Liam, if you dare mistreat her, I am coming to take her as my daughter-in-law."

She carried the sassy attitude as she walked by, making the others laugh a little.

From a far, The Chen couple watched as the families interacted happily.

"We could be part of them Mary, if only our son never messed up in the first place!" Father Chen spoke, trying to hide his anger but couldn’t.

They were so jealous right now! Many people could be surrounding them asking for favours due to their relationship with the Lu’s but no one did because they were no longer in laws! Such a pity!

The three girls finally joined their family members after their girl talk.

Liam approached the girl and his arms reflexively snaked around her waist, pulling her in for a tight hug, shocking Jane.

"Liam Yang! Let go off me! Everyone is watching idiot!" Jane whispered as she struggled to free herself.

Since everyone was looking for an opportunity to interact with the top family, Liam’s action didn’t go unnoticed to everyone present, including the reporters, The Wang family, Edward and his parents.

Everyone rounded their eyes in shock. So it is true! They are dating!

Jane wanted to shush them up so bad but the man held her firmly, laying her head on his chest, giving her an opportunity to hear his heart beat.

As he was still hugging her, they heard a coquettish voice behind them.

"Excuse me Mr Yang. My name is Nancy Wang, I am the operati..."

She did not finish her words when her parents chimmed in.

"Sorry to disturb you CEO Yang but my daughter has something to say to you but first please accept this glass of wine as a toast."

Mr Wang looked at him as he bowed slightly, trying to show respect as he handed over the glass.

Liam looked at them with a boring expression,they really want to drug him so bad!

"I can see you are so bold that you can just approach me and expect me to pick a drink you have specifically chosen for me!"

His voice by now was ice cold, attracting all the people who wanted to see the person brave enough to provoke King Yama.

Jane was startled a little hearing his cold voice and could hear the vibrations clearly on his chest. This is the first time she was hearing this voice but she did not like the sound of it. She preferred the gentle Liam. The girl proceeded to do something she also did not expect from herself.

She slightly tapped his chest, successfully getting his attention.

Liam’s expression suddenly became gentle as looked at the woman in his arms. His little change did not go unnoticed once again and his mother was busy trying to hide her giggles.

Jane circled her arm at the back of his neck, bringing down his head to her level and whispered in his ears gently,

"I don’t like your voice right now, you scare me Liam."

She detached herself from the man and headed where her brother was. She sat down and the Ryan put his tuxedo coat over her shoulders.

Liam looked at his empty hands and then at the people who scared his baby away and his level of anger shot twice as it already was.

Before he could say something, a sex tape started playing on each and every screen in the hall and Nancy smirked once she heard pants but her face immediately paled when the man in the tape shouted her name as he climaxed and at that particular moment, the camera clearly showed the woman’s face, Nancy Wang!

Nancy and her parents flinched when her mother slapped her.

"You bitch! How dare you sleep with my husband, your own father? Are you mad? "

The hall erupted with gasps as people carefully focused on the video only to realize that the man was Mr Wang! How could they? A daughter and a father!?

Before Nancy could even react to her mother’s slap, a conversation audio between Nancy and her parents played, eliminating the part where they talked about Chloe.

Holy heavens! How can people be this greedy and evil at the same time?
