The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband
Chapter 410: Pretty servant boy
CHAPTER 410: PRETTY SERVANT BOY
The first day on the boat went on without any drama. Abrielle spent the entire day in the cabin to be safe. Later, late at night, when the only things that could be heard were the watchmen working and the waves, she decided to go out for a breather.
Everyone had fallen asleep including Evelyn. Even the strongest soldiers grow tired. Abrielle lacked sleep in her eyes and the room felt a bit stuffy.
"I am going out for a walk." She mentioned getting off the bed. Yuki, who was the only other one awake, jumped off the bed to follow her. She knew he would.
Abrielle had a lot on her mind and honestly just wanted a break. She was worried about her husband, the plot that was turning unpredictable and last but not least, Yuki.
She knew what she saw during the attack, but it was hard to believe. There was nothing strange or out of place about Yuki. None that she knew of.
The door creaked open, and she stepped out, a cat also sneaking out before the door closed. The passage between the cabins was a bit eerie, the only sound she could catch was that of a crying baby
The wooden floorboards creaked under her feet as she walked, making her way down the passage to the stairs that led to the deck.
Yuki silently followed behind her like an obedient kitten. On the deck, the strong night sea breeze struck her. Her cap was almost blown off, but she held it in place.
Abrielle’s face was covered with some coal not only to hide her face but her ginger brows and lashes. She held onto the cap and continued up.
It was cold up there, the waves seemed stronger. Rubbing her hands, she made her way to a quiet area to stare at the sea. It was endless water.
Yuki got to her feet and sat there quietly. The night was peaceful despite all the chaos going on in Darconia.
"I wasn’t expecting to meet anyone here." She heard a familiar voice say from behind her. Her shoulders stiffened but she didn’t turn around. The footsteps got closer and the person stood by her side.
"The sea is truly wonderful." The person added. It was Camilla. Abrielle was not expecting to run into her here.
"It is..." She said in a low voice to make her voice seem a bit more unrecognisable. Camilla smiled, "It always gives me a sense of peace. I never expected I would be going back home so soon but Richard was persistent. Although the war is over, the king is dead now, and a battle for the throne might start soon. I am scared of going back but a bit curious."
She went on talking, and Camilla didn’t seem to have any issues having a one-sided conversation. "Richard owns the boat so he can put it to sail whenever he wants. It is annoying being married to a merchant, but he is right, I have to leave the capital."
It was like she was thinking out loud, she did not care if the other person replied or not and more importantly. She knew nothing could happen to her here.
Richard’s men were paying special attention to their boss’s wife.
"They say the first prince is the one who killed King Kaiden. I don’t know if that is true or not but I am worried about the princess. I hope you are handling things well Abrielle." Camilla said and she went stiff. Her hands gripping the rails.
"Who is Abrielle?" She asked, trying to act neutral. Camilla laughed then turned towards her. "Even a dirty servant boy’s outfit can’t hide your beauty. I saw when you were brought on board unconscious. I am glad you made it out alive." Camilla stated then turned about to live.
"Is it that obvious?" Abrielle nervously asked. "Not really. I have a good eye for details. It is pretty good tho." She commented before leaving. Abrielle grew nervous and left the deck immediately.
She pushed the door quietly behind her. "Why did you step out?" She heard Evelyn’s voice, which made her shudder.
Abrielle nervously turned around to face the maid who had a stern expression on. "I was feeling a bit stuffy here. I didn’t run into any issues." She answered.
Evelyn’s eyes narrowed at her. "Don’t go out like that again. I am certain bounty hunters are searching for you now."
Abrielle nodded. After the Camilla incident, she would rather not go out carelessly again.

Elsewhere in Darconia close to the sea. The morning was oddly quiet in an inn that normally housed mercenaries and bounty hunters.
Cedric sat on a chair next to the window listening to the waves. He had stopped at this inn for two reasons. One information and two strategies.
The door opened and Axel and Elias came in. They were dressed in disguise looking like mercenaries to avoid attention.
Cedric didn’t say anything; his eyes were closed. A scarf wrapped around his face exposing just his eyes. He could not wear a mask, nor could he travel without covering his face. That would draw too much attention.
"We were able to get some news," Elias answered walking towards the bed where he sat while Axel stood close to the door.
Cedric’s eyes were still closed, but Elias went on speaking.
"There is a bounty placed on your head but the princess didn’t get one. Eleanor tried but the Nightshade family is protecting her."
His eyes finally opened. "That means she made it out safely."
"It is safe to assume that. What are we going to do now? We can’t go to Blackthorn. Eleanor has eyes around every route and the princess should be on her way to her family."
The first thing Eleanor did after Cedric escaped was to seize a blackthorn, which was technically his duchy. It was uncertain whether the shadow knights would be able to leave without being noticed.
"She is moving fast. We need allies," Cedric muttered
