The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband
Chapter 473: The Vixen and the prince
CHAPTER 473: THE VIXEN AND THE PRINCE
Sunlight spilt into the room. The curtain fluttered lightly as the wind whistled. A soft groan was heard within the walls. He slowly opened his gold eyes staring blankly at the ceiling.
He was exhausted to his bones. His entire body felt completely spent out. The prince found something odd about the room, more precisely the bed.
He could hear soft breaths which his brain didn’t register at first until he felt something soft move closer to him. He abruptly sat up, and the covers over his waist fell.
His eyes instantly drew to the slender figure fast asleep by his side. His jaw clenched, noticing they were both naked. His eyes turned sharp; he could recognise her and not just that, he thought it was all planned.
This wasn’t his first time being drugged as a prince. He had avoided these situations perfectly but not this time around. He always felt something strange about the lady who begged for his help and kept glancing in his direction during the banquet.
It was because she had her eyes on him. Ariel, who was fast asleep, could feel his heated gaze on her. She slowly stirred awake, her dark eyes met with his gold ones
His eyes were cold, piercing straight to her soul. Her heart raced, confused and scared why he was glaring at her. "Good morning...." Before she could finish her statement he grabbed her wrist tugging her forward, her bosom slamming against his taut chest
For a moment he lost focus and got distracted by her flawless body. Hesitation fleeting in his eyes. Even in this state, she was affecting her. She didn’t even need an aphrodisiac or spell to get him within her fingers and he found that annoying.
Ariel’s throat was parched, and she could feel something poking her lower flower petals. The gold-eyed stranger who crashed her night was already hard, which infuriated him how easily she could get him hard
He ignored the inconvenience despite how badly he wanted to relive the moments of last night.
And that was another problem, he did not remember what had happened last night after he left the banquet.
His eyes studied her flushed face, which carried some hints of surprise. He was certain she knew. "How did you get in here last night?" He barked at her. His grip tightened on her wrist. She gritted her teeth, his grip was so tight that it felt like her wrist could snap at any moment.
"You brought me here," she could barely say through her gritted teeth. He scoffed, he didn’t believe her. "How were you able to get me here? How did you do it? " He pulled her close, holding her face in his grip. He took a closer look at her seductive face and his member could not take a clue of the moment and throbbed
She was a vixen. "Did you think I would play along because of your looks?" He sneered. Ariel struggled to free her face from his grip. He was a bastard, she was so tempted to kick him in the groin and curse him out, but unfortunately, this jerk was a von Drakkar.
A family known for their ruthlessness on the battlefield. "You were the only one who assaulted, you..." Oh dear, she was so damn close to cursing him. She managed to bite it back. His gold eyes darkened, he could not believe it. His eyes met her dark eyes, which were glaring at him, and he got lost there for a moment.
A loud knock rang on the door, snapping him out of his trance. His grip loosened and Ariel used the opportunity to flee. She quickly slid into her clothes, at least some to cover her body, before the door opened and she burst towards the door, walking past the stunned knights at the door.
She knew her last dignity had been lost because of a single night of weakness. Oh dear, she made a mistake. Ariel held the rest of her clothes in her arms next to her chest and ran as fast as she could. She heard the bastard calling after her.
He jumped off the bed, grabbed a sheet, and tried to run after her. The knights were stunned and ran after him.
He tried to catch up to her. His hand held onto the sheet wrapped around his waist. What the prince didn’t expect was that Ariel was a sprinter. She even ran faster than he did.
She was gone after taking a sharp turn; she literally jumped out of a window, leaving him stunned. He ran to the window and saw the runaway vixen on a haystack next to the stables. She saw the haystack before jumping. His fist clenched, his anger seething.
"Should I send someone after her, Prince Kaiden?" His right-hand Knight asked him. Our dear, annoying prince, who of course was young, late King Kaiden’s eyes narrowed at Ariel’s figure. She could only slip on her underwear because storming away.
An amused smirk graced his lips without him realising. This wasn’t the end. The knights were stunned that even Kaiden knew how to smile. On noticing their astonished gaze his rare smile disappeared and turned into a stoic expression he always carried.
"Investigate what happened last night to the last detail. Someone failed to set me up or maybe they succeeded." He instructed. The knight bowed, "I will get right on it." They were all aware of how wild the prince’s night was; he didn’t even bother about lowering his moans.
Well, if he were with such beauty, he would not hide it either. Ariel ran to Lizzy’s home, which was closer to the magistrate’s place. She snuck in through the window and woke up the sleepy Lizzy who had millions of questions.
Ariel didn’t reveal what happened, no matter how much her friend bothered her. "Be lucky the sun isn’t up yet and no one saw you," Lizzy said with a disapproving look.
Even if Ariel didn’t say what happened, she had a clue. Last night, she was worried sick when Ariel disappeared, but the knights didn’t let them search for long when she and her father were thrown out of the mansion.
"In case mother asks, I spent the night with you." She said in a hurry, fixing her appearance in front of the mirror, doing her best to evade Lizzy’s glare.
Lizzy scoffed, even if she didn’t like the idea, she was going to stand by her friend’s side. "Be glad you have a good friend." She huffed.
Ariel smiled, placed a peck on Lizzy’s cheeks, then left through the door. She ran into Lizzy’s parents and exchanged some greetings all to make sure she had more alibi
Half an hour later she arrived at her house. She was nervous thinking of a logical excuse to tell Claire. The door creaked open. "Mother, I’m back," she chimed as she stepped in. Ariel felt something crack under her feet, and her eyes slowly darted around the room.
Colours slowly faded from her face.
