CHAPTER 19: THE BOSS LADY: BEAUTIFUL, KINDHEARTED, AND A DECENT COOK

Gu Yuan went to the orchard on the back mountain early in the morning.

But before leaving, she made breakfast for everyone.

After Sheng Yi finished washing up and putting on makeup, she came downstairs. Liu Ru saw Sheng Yi’s makeup and said, "I told you to choose either an assistant or a makeup artist to bring along, you brought neither, and your makeup looks the same as if you weren’t wearing any."

"It’s fine, we’re in the countryside, heavy makeup would be inappropriate." Sheng Yi sat down to eat breakfast.

"Brother Yu, the noodles are ready, no cilantro added." Xiong Yao came over with two bowls of steaming noodles.
