There must be something wrong with me

CHAPTER 90: CHAPTER 67: "THE OLD SCHOLAR" (5K)
"I was wrong... Zhang... Boss Zhang... Please don’t kill me..."
The thief king was in so much pain that he broke out in a cold sweat.
"You know me?" Zhang Feng replied, as he gradually applied more force to the thief’s other arm.
"Old Zhang!" Captain Wang hurried over, having been pulled back a few steps by Zhang Feng.
Just as he got closer, seeing the brutal scene and the nearby frightened passengers, he realized the situation was getting out of hand.
"Old Zhang, there are too many people here." He placed his solid hand on Zhang Feng’s arm, fearing that Zhang Feng might really cripple the thief king’s other arm, "Let’s find a quieter place to question him."
"Okay." Zhang Feng looked into Captain Wang’s concerned eyes, "I’ll listen to you, Captain Wang."
"Alright!" Captain Wang nodded, quickly pulling out his credentials, and addressing the frightened passengers nearby, trying to keep his tone calm yet loud enough to comfort them:
"We are detectives from Mountain City! We found a thief on the train!
The person beside me is the martial arts coach and case consultant of our detective team!"
After a brief introduction, he looked around and said, "Now, everyone quickly check your luggage and pockets to see if anything is missing!
If so, prepare it now! When the train police arrive, report it to them!"
As Captain Wang reassured them, he also distracted the crowd.
Once the talk turned to personal belongings, with Captain Wang proving his identity,
the fearful looks on many faces slowly faded, and they started checking their belongings.
However, some people were looking at Zhang Feng in the train carriage with admiration.
"Good!"
Clap, clap—
The first clap of applause arose from someone unknown.
But soon, a burst of applause filled the air.
Even those checking their luggage got caught up in the atmosphere and joined in applauding Zhang Feng.
But a few parents shielded their children with their bodies, not wanting them to see such a bloody scene.
Upon hearing the applause and seeing the trustful gazes of the people, Zhang Feng felt all his anger dissipate and placed the thief king, who was sweating from pain, on the floor.
"Stay put!" Captain Wang instinctively took out his handcuffs, preparing to cuff the thief king, but seeing his twisted and torn arm, along with the blood,
Captain Wang didn’t know how to cuff him, but he took off his coat to cover the shocking wound.
Captain Wang also noticed there were children on the train and recognized it was inappropriate for them.
"Don’t get cold." An elderly man nearby saw Captain Wang take off his clothes and handed his coat to Captain Wang.
"What’s going on?"
Meanwhile, train police from both ends of the carriage arrived as they heard the applause and commotion here.
However, when they saw the thief king on the ground and the conspicuous blood pooling around,
"Don’t move!"
A few train police officers immediately tensed up.
"They’re police officers, not bad guys!" Nearby passengers saw the police misunderstanding and promptly spoke up for Zhang Feng:
"The one with a broken arm is a thief! This police officer controlled him!"
"Exactly, exactly! Don’t wrong an innocent man!"
Everyone spoke out, stopping the police.
The train police were quite bewildered, as they subconsciously wanted to protect the passengers after witnessing the bloody scene, but were instead scolded by them.
What did they do wrong?
"Hello." Captain Wang was more straightforward, taking out his credentials, "Coach Zhang and I are from Mountain City."
"Oh, it’s Captain Wang?"
"Jun Mountain, Coach Zhang, Zhang Feng?"
Seeing Captain Wang’s credentials and Coach Zhang’s name, they immediately recognized their brothers.
At this moment, an older train police officer suddenly adopted a serious expression,
"Hello, Captain Wang, Coach Zhang. When your special task force came to our Eastern Province before, we helped collaborate by checking passenger movements."
"Coach Zhang, are you going to interrogate?" A young train police officer asked, "Should I find a ’interrogation room’ for you?"
...
The interrogation room was essentially the train’s dining car.
It was already close to midnight, and no one was around, so it was temporarily used as an interrogation room.
"Boss Zhang... take it easy." The thief king walked towards the dining car, gritting his teeth in pain.
The clothes wrapped around his arm were already soaked with blood.
"What’s happening?" Many still-awake passengers peered curiously as they passed through the carriages.
"Please check your luggage." The train police were responsible for persuading and distracting everyone’s attention.
Before long, they arrived at the interrogation room.
Zhang Feng pressed him against the dining table and said:
"Two things: one, don’t move around and don’t get blood all over the dining car.
Two, tell me how you know me."
"A lot of people know you..." The thief king curled up as much as possible, speaking truthfully, "Your skills... there’s hardly a second across the nation...
Anyone in the business who can make a name for themselves has to know you, don’t they?"
The thief king cradled his injured arm, "We’re just trying to make a living... Surely we’d pay a good sum for your photo, to know what you look like.
That way, if we accidentally run into you, we can steer clear...
But I truly didn’t expect... I just started up again after New Year’s, and ran right into you..."
"Oh, so everyone in the loop knows me." Zhang Feng nodded, "Does that make you a prominent figure as well?"
"Don’t praise me like that, Boss, it scares me..." The thief king waved his good hand repeatedly, but perhaps he moved too much and aggravated his arm wound, so he grimaced again and pleaded:
"Boss Zhang... can I have some painkillers? I’m really in too much pain..."
"Hmm." Zhang Feng heard his disjointed speech and found it awkward. So he looked to the young train police officer on duty in the distance, "Brother, do you have any painkillers on the train?
