“bWow/bb, /blook. There’s new gossiping in!” one said.
Another added, “Mr. Atkinson looks so handsome in first ss, tilting his head to watch the clouds drift by outside the window.
“Tell me about it,” someone else joined in. “But the hottest part was when he asked the flight attendant about Yvoria’s local food. I’d bet he bwasn’t /basking for himself.”
“Of course not,” another agreed. “Didn’t the poster say Mr. Atkinson even added that it had to be safe for pregnant women?b” /b
“So doting, really so doting,” someone else sighed.
The female employees were blushing with excitement. Jessica, standing around the corner listening, felt her own cheeks flush a little too.
She thought, ‘Brian, why did you mention that to the flight attendant?‘
She chided him silently but didn’t go over to interrupt the group cking off in the break room. Instead, she left quietly, went back to her office, and pulled out her phone to scroll.
As soon as she opened Twitter, she saw stories about Brian heading to Yvoria on business and making sure to ask about focal treats for his wife.
Watching Brian look so serious in the video, Jessica couldn’t stop the smile from spreading across her face.
She thought, ‘He’s probably still on the ne. Wonder if he knows he’s trending again.
Brian on the ne had no clue.
He’d just finished talking to the passenger next to him, and luckily, the guy not only knew where the candy shopsn had mentioned were, but even btold /bBrian the manufacturer’s address.
“No problem,” the passenger said pleasantly. “I know the factory owner well. If you need, I can introduce you. Whether you want to partner up or get a custom order, it’ll work.”
“That’s really kind of you,” Brian said. “I want a custom batch. I can provide the ingredients myself, and I’ll pay five times the market rate for processing- just as long as the vor meets what I need.”
The manughed, “I don’t think it’s what you need. It’s what your wife needs, right?” He winked yfully at Brian as he said.
Brian paused for a second.
The man saw him pause, and his smile grew wider. He even pulled out his phone and waved it at Brian.
In a sh, Brian suddenly remembered something. He grabbed his phone, opened Twitter, and found he was trending again. He couldn’t help but feel a little helpless.
Brian thought, ‘Really? I go on a business trip and pick up some candy while I’m at it, and that gets–me on the trending list? Doizens really have nothing better to do?‘
Brian couldn’t help muttering to himself, but he didn’t let it get to him.
It wasn’t the first time, after all. ‘As long as it doesn’t bother Jessi, being trending is fine. I might as well count it as free publicity for thepanyb, /bbBrian /bthought.
“Sorry you had to see that.” Brian put his phone away and nodded apologetically at the man.
b“/bNo worries. Heyb, /bbdo /bbyou /bmind if I post about this on bTwitter/bb?/bb” /bthe bman /basked bwith /bba /bbsmile/bb. /b
bI’m /balready trending. Would saying I mind even make a difference?‘ Brian thought.
“Do whatever you want,” Brian said, fully letting it go.
Other passengers nearby and a passing flight attendant heard, and their eyes lit up.
Brian ignored everything around him, focusing only on pulling out his phone to search for the local food that other passengers had mentionedb. /bbHe /bnned to check them all out once he finished the contract talks.
Meanwhile, back home online, the trending topic about Brian being a love–struck softie who doted on his wife had shot to the top.
Countlessizens flooded Atkinson Group’s official Twitter, leaving tons ofments. Many rmended foods from around the world to Brian and
Jessica.
Lots more begged Brian and Jessica to do a live stream together, saying they’d buy anything if the two appeared together.
[Please, just one live stream with Mr. and Mrs. Atkinson. I really need this.]
