In the evening, Jessica left work on time for

But as soon as they walked downstaire Change. Coincidentally, Sana was f

free too, so they decided to check out the nearby night market together

they spotted Wesley waiting outside the main entrance.

“Dr. Finch, are you here to wait for Sana?” Jessica noticed Wesley’s gaze was fixed right on Sana, so she teased, already nning to make an excuse to slip away.

‘Interrupting a couple’s time together is practically asking to be struck by

“Yes, I have something to say to Sana.”

“I’m busy.” Sana refused t out and looped her arm through Jessica’s. “Jessi, let’s ignore him. Let’s hurry to the night market.” She tried to pull Jessica

    away.

Jessica was surprised, thinking, “That doesn’t ad up. Hasn’t Sana been the one alwa

always trying to get close to Wesley before? So why, now that Wesley’sing to her, is she pushing him away?‘

“You’re going to the night market? Then I’lle with you,” Wesley said without hesitation. “It’ll be crowded and chaotic there. Having an extra person around might help.”

Sana was about to refuse, but Jessica spoke first. “Sure, let’s go together.”

“Jessi…” Sana stamped her foot but only dared to shoot Jessica a quick, private look.

Jessica patted her arm reassuringly, seeming to say, “Don’t worry. If anything happens, I’ll definitely take your side.”

Wesley noticed their little exchange but wasn’t annoyed. In fact, he thought Sana being all pouty and stubborn was kind of cuteb. /b

He silently checked off a line in the “Pros” column of his mental pros–and–cons list–Get a cute girlfriend.

Sana had no idea what he was thinking, but after Jessica’s reassurance, she clearly didn’t resist him as much.

‘Fine, just walking around the night market together–no big deal,‘ Sana thought.

And so, the three of them headed to the biggest nearby night market.

The night market was packed, with small stalls linin

    both sides.

Wesley was a perfect gentleman, reaching out to shield Jessica and Sana from passing crowds, and he naturally helped carry their shopping bags.

By the time they’d walked less than half the market, both his hands were already full of shopping bags.

Seeing this, even Sana, who didn’t want to have anything more to do with him, felt a twinge of sympathy.

At the next bakery stall, Sana couldn’t help but buy a cupcake Wesley liked and took the initiative to feed it to him.

Wesley took a bite. The familiar vor made him pause. “How did you know I like this?”

Sana kicked herself mentally, stuffing the rest of the cupcake into his mouth. “I saw you post it on Instagram before. Don’d into bit/bb./b”

With that, she went to join Jessica in picking out bracelets.

Wesley watched her light, quick figure walk away, savoring the sweetness in his mouth, and a faint smile appeared in his eyes.

That night, when he got home, he was covered in the smells and dust of the night market, but he didn’t rush to wash up.

Instead, he first took out his notebook, flipped to the page where he’d listed the pros and cons of getting into a rtionship with Sana bversus /bnot t into a rtionship with her, and started writing quickly.

[Pros: 1 Get a cute girlfriend. 2… 10. Can enjoy my girlfriend’s loving feedings anytime.]

(Cons: 1 Need to give up some freedom. 2… 5. Need to put in more effort and free time to spend with my girlfriend.)

Wesley finished writing thest point, looked at the lopsided list, and couldn’t help butugh.

Honestly, he didn’t need these two lists anyway.
