“What are you doing?” the passenger asked.

“Sorry, sorry!” Sana quickly stepped back and apologized.

The passenger didn’t seem to care much and just waved her off before walking away.

Sana let out a relieved breath and followed behind him, hoping to ignore Wesleypletely. But she’d barely taken two steps when Wesley grabbed her

    wrist.

“Want to grab dinner together?” he asked.

“No. Let go!” Sana struggled to break free from his grip.

“Sana, don’t be so heartless. You’re hurting me too,” Wesley said, his voice suddenly softer and more vulnerable.

Sana froze for a moment, caught off guard by his tone. Then, she snapped back to reality and struggled even harder to get away. “Nice try, but I’m not falling for that!” she shot back.

‘Does he think I’ll just melt because he’s acting pitiful?‘ she thought. ‘Dream on!‘

“Really?” Wesley suddenly moved closer, forcing Sana to lean back to avoid his warm breath against her face. But she couldn’t escape those eyes that seemed to hold so much affection.

‘No. What affection? Don’t let him fool you, Sana,‘ she thought. ‘Wesley only feels responsible for you. He doesn’t actually like you. He’s already lying bto /bhimself–are you going to fall for his lies too?‘

That thought hardened her resolve. Sana decided to ignore whatever Wesley was saying and focused only on getting away from him.

Wesley was afraid of hurting her, so he let go of her wrist, but then/grabbed her sleeve when she tried to leave.

He gestured with his eyes for her to look around them. That was when Sana noticed they were surrounded by a crowd of curious passengers, and she could see several people taking photos with their phones.

‘Damn it!‘ Sana thought. She was overwhelmed by embarrassment and stopped struggling immediately. She even urged him, “Let’s go!”

Her face flushed bright red from being watched by so many people, which only made her look more beautiful.

Wesley stared at her for a moment, then handed her the flowers and reached for her luggage.

Sana didn’t want to stay there another second, so she reluctantly took the flowers and let him carry her bags. She allowed him to lead her away from bthe /bairport, looking just like any couple who’d had a small fight and made up.

When they got back to the office, Sana immediately went to find Jessica.

“Jessica, did you tell Wesley about my business trip?” Sana asked. She couldn’t think of anyone else who would have Wesley about bher /btravel ns.

Jessica was looking at thetest photos Madeline had sent.

In the pictures, Brian was protectively walking beside Madeline, whose small baby bump was just starting to show. bHe /bwas bcarrying /bbseveral /bbshopping /b
