At the hospital, Sana stared at Wesley’s phone, watching the trending topic about Jessica’s suspected miscarriage shoot to the top of the hot search rankings like a rocket.

“Isn’t this way too fast?” Sana asked. Even though she’d never worked in media operations, she could tell something was

off about how quickly this story had exploded and climbed the charts.

“And I remember when Brian got on his knees begging Mr. Grant to let him see Jessica, it was just us there, right? I didn’t see anyone taking pictures. So how did this video end up online?” Sana frowned.

They were all Jessica friend’s or her subordinates. They might not like Brian, but they wouldn’t stoop to something this

    low.

“Probably a passing nurse or someone who bribed hospital security to get the hallway surveince footage,” Wesley said casually, still looking at the video.

“You’re saying someone deliberately collected all this stuff to mess with Brian?” Sana caught on immediately, then broke

    into a gleeful smile.

“Who did Brian piss off to deserve this kind of treatment? The Atkinson Group just held their press conference yesterday,

and now they’re hit with this huge scandal overnight. Their stock price is going to be absolutely beautiful next week.” Sana

    smirked.

“Stop gloating. You really think this is about Brian?” Wesley flicked her forehead, clearly annoyed.

“If it’s not about Brian, then it must be about Jessica. How is that even possible?” Sana said, throwing out a random

    guess.

But Wesley’s expression grew serious as he watched thements keep pouring in. His attitude sparked Sana’s curiosity,

and she couldn’t help but look down at the screen too,

[Oh my gosh, Mr. Atkinson is really trying to win her back!]

[I’m dying to iknow /iwhy they got divorced in the first ce. If he’s begging her family for forgiveness, he must have screwed up big time.]

[What else could it be? Rich guys getting divorced usually means cheating. I never thought Mr. Atkinson was that kind of guy. This couple ispletely ruined for me now.]

[Forget shipping them. Just thinking about how I genuinely wished them well before makes me sick.]

    [Me too!]

[How does a cheating scumbag like him have the nerve to keep chasing her?]

[Poor Ms. Grant, this is so awful for her.]

[Wait, he’s pursuing her but she’s not exactly rejecting him either.]

[Exactly. For all we know, they’re just ying some weird game and we’re all part of their little act. The more I think about it, the more disgusting it gets.]

[Either way, this whole thing has me questioning love itself. I literally just ordered that watch yesterday and inow /iI’m returning it.]

    [Count me in.]

[You guys are all returning your orders? I mean, the couple might be over but the product quality is still decent, right?]

[I can’t get past how gross this all is.]

[Right? And they were pushing those couple’s watches and parent–child sets, but turns out the guy’s been divorced forever.]

[Word is he pressured his wife so hard she didn’t even fight for custody of their kid. Now that she’s actually gone, he’s having second thoughts and chasing after her. And he wants to trick us into helping him with this fake act? That’s disgusting.]

[Exactly. I’m not gonna be some scumbag’s aplice. I’m returning every Atkinson Group product I bought recently.]

[Not just returning them. I’m leaving bad reviews too. Same goes for Grant Group. They’re both messed up. She’s ying hard to get when she should just move on.]

[I used to think she was this badass businesswoman, but turns out she’s just some clingy little wife who can’t let go of her precious husband. What a joke.]

[I’m not returning the Grant Group stuff though. Ms. Grant is the victim here. The woman’s lying in a hospital bed right now. I feel sorry for her.]

    [I feel the same.]

[Ms. Grant is going through hell. Please, Mr. Atkinson, just leave her alone.]

[She brought this ion /iherself. Don’t let her fool you guys.]
