They Want Me Back When It’s Too Late
Fast Life 548

“Alright, every group has their travel funds for today. Now let’s announce the task for your outing,” bRaymond /bsaid.
“Wait, there’s a task? Raymond, you said earlier we could just enjoy ourselves. You can’t go back on your wordb,/bb” /bLillianined, half in jest.
“Of course, I won’t. You can still enjoy yourselves, but while you’re out, you must check in at the horseback riding spot and on Cedarspan Highway. During this, each female guest needs to do a specific pose set by the production team, and the male guest will take the photo.
“In the end, viewers will vote, and tomorrow’s travel funds will be based on the votes. Does anyone have any objections?” Raymond asked, grinning.
They could say nothing. It was clearly part of the show’s antics. Since they’de to participate, they might as well y along.
“No objections. But what’s the specific pose?” Jessica spoke up first and asked.
“The specific pose will be decided by drawing lots. If no one else has objections, let’s start drawing,” Raymond answered gently.
Everyone said they had no objections.
Raymond nodded and had a staff member bring over the lottery drum. As before, the female guests would draw.
Since Jessica had been the first to ask, everyone let her go first. She didn’t hesitate, stepped forward, and casually drew a lot.
Luck was on her side. The pose on the lot was a nce over the shoulder, a simple one that would be easy to do even while riding a horse.
Jessica, in a good mood, held the lot and went back to Brian, showing it to him. Brian looked at it and seemed pleased, too.
Next was Sabrina, who drew quickly.
“Crossed arms? That’s okay, I guess,” Sabrina said.
“Sabrina, don’t worry. I know horses. I’ll make sure to pick the calmest one for youter.” Connor, on the other hand, was a bit worried. He feared Sabrina might let go of the reins to cross her arms while riding and fall off.
“No need. I can ride a horse.” Sabrina refused outright. She thought, ‘I even rode cows when I was a kid, let alone horses.‘
Connor wanted to say more but held back his worry in the end. He just made up his mind to pick a good
horse for Sabrinater.
Soon, Vanessa and Lillian stepped up to draw lots, too. One got “hands on hips,” the other “embrace nature.”

Lillian was pretty happy with hers, but Vanessa’s face looked gloomy. She thought the pose ruined her bimage/b.
But Vanessa’d drawn the lot, and there was no swapping. No matter how upset she was, she just had to put bup /bwith it.
“Done with the drawing. Now you can head out. Hope you all have a great time,” Raymond said cheerfully and stepped back to let them go.
The four couples chatted a bit and went their separate ways.
With plenty of travel funds, Brian hailed a taxi right away to take him and Jessica to the nearest ranch. Behind them, the show’s camera crew followed at a distance.
The couples would be live–streamed during their outing, but the crew kept their distance, staying far enough not to disturb them.
After Brian and Jessica left, Lillian and Chase did the same, hailing a taxi.
The two remaining couples had less money. Vanessa and Spencer chose to take the bus, while Sabrina simply scanned a bike provided by the production team and started cycling. Connor, of course, went with her.
Jessica and Brian were the first to reach the ranch. Brian talked to the ranch owner like a pro and picked out the gentlest mare possible for Jessica.
