This Holy Knight is So Despicable!
Chapter 429 - 351 I Build a Temple with White Bones
CHAPTER 429: CHAPTER 351 I BUILD A TEMPLE WITH WHITE BONES
After a night of rest, Lette and the others once again entered the underground city outside the Elf Imperial City.
Under the tireless reconstruction by the monsters, a massive underground city had already risen from the ground.
One must admit, their speed is commendable.
Moreover, in terms of both numbers and special abilities, these monsters have advantages that human architects lack.
Seeing that the headquarters’ underground city had taken shape, Lette dismissed the idea of using the scroll.
He believed in saving where he could, practicing thrift and economy, which are Lette’s instinctive principles.
"The three Magic Mushrooms have grown nicely, and thus, they can serve as the core of my three underground cities."
Lette waved his hand, directing the Holy Flame Skeleton, Slime, and Goblin to pick the Magic Mushrooms corresponding to their attributes and assemble outside the city gates to await orders.
Once the preparations were mostly complete, Lette came to the front of the team to deliver his pre-battle motivational speech.
"Today! Is a day worth commemorating!
Because we are about to make history!
Over the years, it has always been the Nether Beach invading various worlds, spreading calamities and disasters everywhere! It has become synonymous with tragedy and destruction.
But today, we will be the first to counterattack the Nether Beach, in the Great World!
We will bring destruction! Slaughter! And conquest to the Nether Beach!
Our military edge will be invincible, leaving wasteland in its wake!
Our fierce reputation will spread to every corner of the Nether Beach, becoming the most terrifying nightmare of all enemies!
Evil will eventually grind evil!
We are here to make the Nether Beach understand who exactly is the ultimate evil!
Let’s go!"
Lette swiftly drew the Sin Light and pointed toward the rocky wall ahead.
"In the name of the ultimate evil!"
The monsters were so stirred up with enthusiasm, they marched forward without hesitation, even though a rock wall stood in their way.
With one hand, Lette took out the Crystal Skull and whispered, "Great will of the Nether Sea, your time to fulfill promises has come."
As soon as he spoke, two beams of light suddenly burst from the Crystal Skull’s eyes, illuminating the rock wall.
The surrounding space began to distort and collapse, followed by a thick and terrifying aura of death rushing forth.
Lette immediately threw the Crystal Skull out, effectively blocking this aura of death outside the breach into the Holy Light Great World.
Only then did everyone realize the rock wall in front of them had vanished and was replaced by a silent beach.
The horizon stretched to a tide-swollen coastline, while underfoot lay a vast beach seemingly composed of countless fine bone fragments.
"Is this the Nether Beach?"
Emily stared in shock at this desolate place. Because of Lette, she had witnessed the true form of the Death God more than once.
But the Power of Death in the Death God was calm and peaceful, like a tamed domestic animal.
Here, however, the surge of the Power of Death was violent and ferocious, like beasts in the jungle.
It was only thanks to the Crystal Skull blocking it that she felt otherwise the Power of Death alone could tear her, a living person, into pieces.
Emily was utterly shocked, feeling that even with her Domain protecting her body, she couldn’t last long.
Beside her, Jenny was already trembling all over, as someone not even reaching the Holy Rank, she was naturally even more vulnerable.
As for Lilith, there was no need to worry at all; she seemed as comfortable here as if she were back home. The amount of Negative Energy here was intoxicating.
What shocked Emily, however, was that the other monsters also seemed unaffected.
The Holy Skeletons aside, even the Slimes and Goblins appeared as if nothing was wrong.
Perhaps seeing through Emily’s confusion, Lilith, who shielded Jenny behind her, conveniently explained.
"You are living beings and naturally face extreme hostility from the Death Law. But creatures like themselves are either Undead by nature or possess high resistance to the Death Law.
This is the nature of Dark Element creatures, as their harsh living conditions over long evolution produced such results."
Upon hearing this, Emily thought and agreed, considering those with low resistance were likely eliminated; those surviving naturally had higher resistance.
"Rest assured, soon you all won’t feel this discomfort."
Under Lette’s orders, Holy Flame Skeletons began constructing the underground city altar on the open ground ahead, while other combat units stood guard on the periphery.
In fact, once the path through the Nether Beach was opened, Lette felt many strong entities stranded on the Nether Beach turning their attention over.
However, these cautious creatures would surely not choose to explore at the first opportunity.
The first to act might gain greater benefits after success, but also risk higher chances of stumbling.
Once the altar was completed, Lette ascended it and, after casting the Magic Mushroom symbolizing the Power of Death into it, threw in an Underground City Building Scroll as well.
Then he began channeling the immense Power of Death from the Nether Sea alongside the abundant Power of Holy Light from the Holy Light Great World.
As the two forces converged here, gradually forming within the altar, the entire Nether Beach started trembling uncontrollably.
Whoosh!!!
A platinum-colored Death Holy Flame shot up to the sky, forming an enormous mushroom cloud.
The resulting pressure swept through the surrounding space, even affecting the distant coastline of the Nether Sea, causing monstrous waves!
Virtually all the giants of the Nether Beach witnessed this holy-scented aura of death!
They were simultaneously shocked and terrified by this.
Under Lette’s manipulation, a Heroic City was rising slowly within the Death Holy Flame.
It had a structure of white bones, with rocks as its flesh, making it appear more solid, yet no less menacing.
From the original altar location, countless White Bone Holy Flames extended and spread, eventually forming a towering, majestic temple!
Above the grand hall, the Holy Flame flickered brightly, exuding a palpable pressure.
Everyone present was stunned to see this Heroic City, especially the White Bone Holy Hall behind the altar.
Is this really just an underground city?
It seems more extravagant than some Gods’ temples!
While inside the altar, that Death Demon Mushroom expanded madly, eventually growing like a grotesque Life Mushroom standing before the entrance of the Bone Hall.
It wasn’t over. After completing all these, Lette suddenly pointed towards the White Bone Holy Hall.
"Let the Holy Flame bloom within death! Praise be to the master of death!"
A divine light from the Holy Light Great World descended, shining into the White Bone Holy Hall, revealing none other than the recently established Lady White Mushroom.
With the deity taking her seat, the entire holy temple took its final step, starting to exude rich Divine Power, resonating with the Death Mushroom at the entrance.
The Holy Flame Dungeon happened to block the junction between the Holy Light Great World and the Nether Beach.
While isolating the two, it also became the essential throat between them.
Thus, not only was there no worry of the Nether Beach’s violent Death Aura disturbing the Holy Light Great World, but it also did not impede passage between the Holy Light Great World and the Nether Beach, effectively killing two birds with one stone.
Having accomplished this feat, Lette then placed his hand on the Death Mushroom.
"Now, finally, I can summon some high-level Holy Undead."
