This Is Definitely Not Dragon Ball!!
Chapter 388: The Delinquent Girl
Yuujin didn't tell Goku and the others why he laughed—nor would he ever tell them.
But there was no doubt that Yuujin was in a very good mood at the moment.
Since Universe 7's Android 18, Bulma, and even Videl hadn't yet gotten involved with Krillin, Vegeta, or Gohan respectively, Yuujin figured he might have a chance to make something happen when the opportunity arose.
Of course, these were just thoughts for now. What mattered most at the moment was dealing with the current crisis and winning the Tournament of Power. Everything else could wait.
While Yuujin and the others were interacting with Universe 7's team, more fighters from other universes were being transported in. Leading this group was a God of Destruction with a big belly who bore some resemblance to Beerus, and by his side stood a tall, stunning female angel holding a staff.
Yuujin immediately recognized them—these must be the fighters from Universe 6!
Universe 6 and Universe 7 were twin universes. Their Gods of Destruction, Champa and Beerus, were brothers. The Tournament of Power had been inspired by a previous showdown between the two universes over the Super Dragon Balls, which had caught the attention of the Omni-King. Later, with Goku's persuasion, the tournament was officially held.
"Yo! Isn't that Cabba and Hit?" Goku greeted.
"Master Vegeta! Goku-san!" Cabba waved as he jogged over.
They were all old acquaintances by now. Universe 6 also had Saiyans, but unlike those from Universe 7 or Yuujin's Universe 13, Universe 6's Saiyans still lived on their home planet, Planet Sadala. Their development and racial traits differed significantly from those in Universe 7 and 13.
For example, they were born without tails and had more slender physiques. Though also a warrior race with immense power, they didn't invade or conquer. Instead, they were often hired to fight evil and maintain peace throughout the universe.
But Yuujin didn't really care about any of that. Aside from that beautiful angel, he wasn't interested in Universe 6 or their Saiyans. After briefly greeting Master Roshi, Krillin, and the others, he prepared to leave with Gokumi and the other girls.
However, just as Yuujin turned around, someone bumped straight into him.
"Hey! What's your problem—don't you have eyes?!" the girl shouted, rubbing her forehead and glaring at Yuujin fiercely.
She was very slim and dressed like a classic delinquent girl, complete with a spiky, rebellious hairstyle.
After thinking for a moment about Universe 6's roster, Yuujin quickly recognized her.
She was Caulifla, the female Saiyan from Universe 6!
Looking behind her, Yuujin spotted another girl who seemed timid and shy—that was Kale, Caulifla's junior and loyal follower.
"Hey! Are you even listening to me?!" Caulifla yelled, furious that Yuujin was ignoring her and instead eyeing Kale.
"Little girl, you bumped into me, and now you're blaming me?" Yuujin chuckled and flicked her forehead.
"You—you just flicked me with your finger?!" she gasped.
"What? Want to try again?"
Seeing Caulifla look like she was about to explode only made Yuujin more amused, so he flicked her forehead again.
"Go to hell!!" Caulifla shouted in shame and rage, throwing a punch at him.
Sure, it had been her fault for bumping into him in the first place. If he had given her a way to save face, she might've let it slide—but instead, this guy flicked her like a child! Did he think she was three years old?
Boiling with anger, Caulifla only wanted to teach him a lesson.
But just as her fist was about to land, Yuujin's figure vanished—and her punch hit nothing but air.
"Don't move."
Caulifla was still searching for him when she suddenly felt a finger touch the back of her head. Her scalp tingled, and her whole body stiffened.
"You've got quite the temper for someone so young."
"Little girl, what's your name?" Yuujin asked, wearing a playful expression—even though he already knew.
"C-Ca-Caulifla…" she stammered. She felt like a wild beast had just bitten into her vital point and instinctively replied without moving an inch.
"S-Sir… My sister didn't mean to… Please let her go," Kale finally came to her senses and pleaded softly.
Even she could hardly believe it—her powerful sister Caulifla had been subdued in an instant by this unfamiliar man!
"And you? What's your name?" Yuujin turned to Kale, smiling.
"I-I'm Kale… My name is Kale," she responded shyly.
"Oh? So you're Kale-chan."
"Well, since cute little Kale-chan asked so nicely, I'll let it go this time."
Yuujin had never planned to hurt Caulifla. Despite her bratty, delinquent attitude, he knew she wasn't truly bad at heart. With Kale stepping in, he decided to let it slide.
"Little girl, don't go around throwing punches before you even know who you're dealing with. One day, you'll pay the price for that."
With that, Yuujin turned and left with Gokumi and the other girls.
As he walked away, Kale's eyes sparkled with admiration.
That man… he's not only incredibly handsome, but also so kind. What a good person…
But while Kale was still swooning, Caulifla had completely lost it—
"Hey! What's your name?! I'm gonna beat you till you're crying and begging for mercy!!"
"I'm Yuujin, from Universe 13," he replied, raising a hand without turning around. "If you're not afraid of another lesson, feel free to come at me later."
Caulifla was seething.
That arrogant jerk! He didn't take her seriously at all!
"Sis… that Yuujin guy doesn't seem like a bad person… and he's really strong. Maybe we shouldn't mess with him…" Kale whispered cautiously.
"Huh? Don't mess with him?"
"Kale! Whose side are you on?!" Caulifla snapped.
Facing her sister's fiery glare, Kale gave in with a meek smile: "I-I'm on your side…"
"That's more like it!"
"We're gonna be the strongest in the universe! That jerk embarrassed me—I will get back at him! And you're helping me, Kale!"
"…Okay."
To be continued…
