CHAPTER 1510: CHAPTER 1510 NEGOTIATION

Leon Battleson’s features were handsome, and when he smiled, his beautiful eyes curved slightly, perhaps due to his age, making him seem harmless.

Right now, the distance between Charlotte Thompson and Leon Battleson wasn’t far, allowing Charlotte to carefully observe Leon’s looks, and she managed to find places in his brows and eyes that resembled Justin Battleson’s.

In Leon’s eyes, a flicker of light danced as he looked straight at Charlotte, and in a momentary trance, she noticed a hint of certainty in his expression.

He seemed confident that Charlotte would agree to his request.

Charlotte maintained a composed demeanor, yet her mind was awash with complicated thoughts.

Of course, she didn’t want any unnecessary entanglement with Leon, but recalling his recent actions, Charlotte felt that refusing him could lead to unforeseen consequences.

It seemed Leon had counted on this when he made such a request.

The more she looked at the smile on Leon’s face, the more bothersome it seemed, causing Charlotte to avert her gaze, letting out a sigh that appeared helpless:

"Alright."

"So only work matters make Miss Thompson nod." Leon mused, touching his chin thoughtfully.

But Charlotte didn’t respond; as she pondered what might pertain to work, Leon had already chosen a nearby restaurant.

However, upon arriving at the restaurant, Charlotte felt a chill.

She hadn’t expected Leon to have reserved a spot here in advance.

Following the guiding waiter, Charlotte couldn’t help but glance at Leon beside her, and noticing her gaze, Leon also looked over at this moment.

"I think you’ll like it here."

"Actually, I’m not particularly fond of Western restaurants." Charlotte spoke indifferently, only to receive Leon’s light-hearted laughter in return.

"Alright, I’ll remember that. This time, bear with it; next time, it won’t happen."

Such a response made Charlotte furrow her brow. Walking alongside Leon, a faint fragrance entered Charlotte’s nostrils.

Among it seemed to be mixed with other aromas, giving the scent an odd quality.

What kind of perfume is he wearing?

Just as Charlotte was puzzled, the waiter had already guided them to the reserved spot.

Glancing at the time on her phone, Charlotte took advantage of the waiting time for the dishes to broach business matters with Leon.

Yet, oddly enough, though Leon had initiated the topic, he seemed uninterested in it once they were at the restaurant, instead asking common questions.

"Mr. Battleson."

Charlotte spoke calmly, interrupting Leon’s inquiry about her preferred jewelry.

"I’m here to discuss collaboration matters with you; what you’re talking about seems irrelevant, doesn’t it, Mr. Battleson?"

However, Leon nonchalantly propped up his chin, lifting his gaze to look at Charlotte before him, and smiled:

"How could it be irrelevant? We are partners, understanding partners and catering to their preferences; what’s wrong with that?"

Saying this, Leon paused for a moment, then folded his palms together under his chin, his gaze steadily meeting Charlotte’s eyes.

"As a businessman, this is something I must do, regardless of who is in front of me."
