Annie Anne’s words caught Charlotte Thompson’s attention as she was bending down to pick up a coffee cup.

This made Charlotte slightly puzzled, raising her brow as she asked, "I remember, didn’t you just join the crew yesterday? Are you working with Riley again?"

Upon hearing Charlotte mention this, Annie Anne raised her hand, tapped her forehead, pouted, and said, "I never used to think the world was full of such coincidences."

Annie sighed, then hooked her arm around Charlotte’s, leading her into her dressing room, and said something that greatly surprised Charlotte.

"Actually, Riley and I aren’t in the same crew."

"Then you two?" Charlotte pointed to the dressing room, then to the hallway outside.

If they’re not in the same crew, how could they be filming together?

"Well, this is a bit complicated. There’s a popular drama recently called something like ’Mountain Chen’... that’s the one."

"Are you talking about the one with the two male leads?" With Annie’s prompt, Charlotte recalled something and immediately responded.

"It’s quite a coincidence, actually. One main actor from that crew is now with ours, and the other is with Riley’s, and since some of our filming locations overlap, the directors thought they’d have someone make a cameo in our drama. It’d ride the drama’s popularity wave, and since Riley’s side is wrapping up soon, our two crews just mingled together."

After briefly explaining the whole situation to Charlotte, Annie sat down on the couch, resting her face on her palm, and sighed.

"I was just thinking, I didn’t realize the entertainment circle was so small. I feel like the drama I shot with Riley just wrapped up not long ago, and here we are meeting again?"

After quietly complaining a bit, Annie brought the topic back.

"Last night, the internet was buzzing for so long, you must know, right? After all, your Mr. Battleson is..."

At this point, Annie raised her brow teasingly at Charlotte, "That doesn’t really seem like something your Mr. Battleson would usually do."

Charlotte, listening, coughed embarrassingly, "Actually... I was quite surprised when I found out about it this morning."

Justin Battleson’s character has always been calm and composed, but thinking about it carefully, he’s done quite a few bold things like this.

"But isn’t the reason for all this still those misleading photos of Riley and Justin? She deliberately didn’t come forward to explain, and you know Summer Lilian, right? She’s the one who came forward to slap Riley’s face yesterday."

Charlotte nodded, and Annie continued, "Be careful, she seems to have ulterior motives for your Mr. Battleson!"

This made Charlotte blink in confusion.

"Though my crew and Riley’s have only been in contact for a few days, during this time, Summer Lilian has been frequently bringing people over to bully Riley."

"Bullying on set? Aren’t the directors doing anything about it?" Charlotte asked, finding it baffling.

"I don’t really know, but judging by today’s events, the director doesn’t seem to have any response. And I see all of their crew members being very respectful to Summer Lilian. She probably has a strong background," Annie said in a low voice.
