Three Treasures: Spoiled Wife Goes Wild
Chapter 1583: Charlotte Thompson is Actually a Walk-on Character
CHAPTER 1583: CHAPTER 1583: CHARLOTTE THOMPSON IS ACTUALLY A WALK-ON CHARACTER
It was the first time the director had heard such a request, and he was momentarily stunned.
However, once he found out who was joining his crew and who the investor was, the director began to doubt if there was something wrong with his ears.
The renowned designer Joy, the eldest daughter of the Thompson Family, actually wanted to make a cameo in his TV drama?
Who wouldn’t be surprised to hear something like this?
The director started to wonder if he had received some sort of scam call, but just as he was thinking this yesterday, the next moment he received a call from Charlotte herself.
Even seeing Charlotte in person now, the director felt a bit dazed.
"Hello, Mr. Wilson, I’m really sorry. Due to some personal reasons, I need to take a small cameo role in your crew. I apologize for any inconvenience."
Charlotte spoke softly, but Mr. Wilson, upon hearing this, hurriedly waved his hand, feeling flattered.
"Miss Thompson, what are you saying? Having you in my TV drama is truly an honor."
As the director spoke, he could not hide the smile on his face.
In these kinds of fast-food-style TV dramas, inviting several well-known people for cameo roles is very common.
Especially since Charlotte once did a variety show, after which many production teams wanted to invite her for a friendly guest appearance, but Charlotte naturally declined them all.
Now that Charlotte had actually offered to appear in his TV drama, regardless of the reason, the director felt there would be plenty of publicity hype for the series.
After exchanging a few more pleasantries with the director, Charlotte went to change clothes.
She was only doing a cameo as a friend of the character played by Annie Anne, with just a couple of lines, serving as a quiet backdrop throughout.
Fortunately, Charlotte didn’t have to appear immediately, so she had ample time to prepare. By the time she came out after changing clothes, Annie Anne had already started shooting her scene with fellow actors.
Charlotte glanced over before stepping toward Annie Anne’s assistant and stood beside him.
"I remember, your last name is Zhou, isn’t it?" She glanced at the assistant beside her and said leisurely.
The assistant, originally feeling a bit tense with Charlotte standing next to him, was even more surprised when Charlotte proactively spoke to him, causing him to stiffen and repeatedly nod at Charlotte.
Perceiving the assistant’s slight nervousness, Charlotte curved her lips: "You’ve been by Annie’s side for quite a while now, haven’t you?"
Somewhat embarrassed, the assistant scratched the back of his head and earnestly replied, "Yes, I’ve been with Miss Annie for almost half a year now."
Upon hearing this, Charlotte slightly narrowed her eyes: "Then you must have always been by her side."
"Of course."
The assistant nodded, but the smile on his face faded after just a few seconds, as if he suddenly recalled something discouraging.
"But I’ve been with Miss Annie for so long and haven’t taken good care of her. I feel I’m not doing my job well enough."
Looking up at Annie Anne acting, the assistant rearranged his things and suddenly stood straight up.
"Oh no, Miss Annie’s keys seem to be left in the makeup room."
As he spoke, the assistant fiddled with his ear, feeling a bit frustrated, and prepared to head back to the makeup room.
But Charlotte, noticing that Annie Anne’s scene seemed to be wrapping up, reached out to stop the assistant.
