Chapter 433 - 408: Sweet Extra: Laughed Out of Anger
CHAPTER 433: CHAPTER 408: SWEET EXTRA: LAUGHED OUT OF ANGER
Jin Jumo looked at him and suddenly laughed, then sat on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck in Rong Mochen’s stunned gaze. Like a little puppy, she nudged him with her nose and whispered, "Then don’t be mad at me. When you’re mad, I feel so sad I could die."
"...Smooth talker!"
Rong Mochen’s dark eyes paused, and then he somewhat awkwardly tried to remove Jin Jumo’s arms from around his neck.
Jin Jumo pouted, her eyes watery and peach-blossom-like as she stared at him, "What I said is true. If you don’t believe me, feel here. Did you hear it? It said it’s really, really, really sad now..."
Jin Jumo placed his hand on her left chest, speaking with great emotion and sincerity.
Rong Mochen couldn’t hold back and laughed in exasperation.
This little woman was now adept at using "playful banter" to smooth things over!
Who knows where she learned these little tricks!
But unfortunately, he fell for it every time!
In the end, Rong Mochen still gave in to Jin Jumo, and Jin Jumo went to film director Lin Geng’s movie, which meant they only saw each other a handful of times in the next two months.
Jin Jumo was thought to be able to settle down for some time after the film was finished shooting, but unexpectedly, she had to travel with the crew and director to promote the movie everywhere. It wasn’t until the film premiered that Jin Jumo finally had a few days to herself.
Rong Mochen decisively left behind the three little ones and whisked Jin Jumo off to Paris.
During those few days, Jin Jumo’s phone was confiscated, and even the Wi-Fi was cut off at their place of stay, making Jin Jumo feel as if she’d instantly traveled back in time and was isolated from the world.
Jin Jumo knew in her heart that from the start of filming to the movie’s release, half a year had passed, and the time she had left for him and the kids was pitifully little.
Thus, she showed enough understanding and tolerance for what Rong Mochen did.
Still, she missed the little ones at home very much.
At eight in the evening, they left the hotel for dinner at a restaurant.
Upon arrival, Jin Jumo was surprised by the quietness of the restaurant since there were no other patrons besides them and a few attendants.
When she left the residence, Jin Jumo dressed very simply, wearing a plain off-shoulder long dress and flat sandals.
In nearly two years, her previously short hair had grown down to her waist, still untouched by any processing, remaining a natural dark tea color.
Her long hair lay smoothly against her back, her slender and delicate neck like an elegant swan. Now a mother of three, Jin Jumo had shed some of her youthful innocence and transformed into a gentle and poised young woman.
Sitting at the table, Jin Jumo curiously looked around the restaurant again, her peach blossom eyes uncertainly falling on Rong Mochen across from her, "Hubby, don’t you think there’s something strange about this restaurant?"
"What’s strange?" Rong Mochen asked in a calm voice.
"There’s no one else here but us. Isn’t that strange?" Jin Jumo mumbled.
Rong Mochen slightly curved his lips, "What do you want to eat?"
Jin Jumo suspiciously glanced at him several times, "You decide."
He knew better than she did what she liked and disliked.
Alright.
Jin Jumo had to admit that the longer she was with this particular someone, the lazier she got.
For example, right now, she was even too lazy to order food.
Rong Mochen’s dark eyes showed a hint of helplessness as he raised a hand to call for the attendant, "Serve the food."
Serve the food?
Jin Jumo blinked, "But we haven’t ordered yet? How come food is being served?"
Rong Mochen didn’t reply to her.
Jin Jumo pursed her lips, wanting to say something more.
Just then, a melodious and soothing piano tune started to play in the restaurant.
Jin Jumo’s eyes slightly widened, turning to glance at the young woman in a white dress sitting at the piano. Her gaze lingered for a second before she looked at Rong Mochen, her fair face slowly revealing surprise and suspicion, "You didn’t rent out the entire restaurant, did you?"
Rong Mochen still said nothing, magically pushing a delicate silver gift box toward Jin Jumo, "Take a look."
"Another gift?" Jin Jumo’s eyes sparkled, her cheeks turning embarrassedly red.
Rong Mochen gazed at her affectionately, the deep love and tenderness in his eyes undeniable.
Jin Jumo’s heart pounded as she carefully opened the gift box.
"How beautiful," Jin Jumo exclaimed in surprise as she saw what’s inside the box.
A simple yet not so simple hair clip.
Simple because of its elegant and sophisticated design, not so simple because the decoration on the clip included rare red diamonds, truly gorgeous!
Jin Jumo did not hide her fondness, her slender fingers gently caressing the clip, looking at Rong Mochen with a flushed face, "Why the sudden gift?"
This man was usually reserved; during the proposal, she thought he had used up all his romantic gestures, so she didn’t expect any romance from him after that.
So, was the sun rising from the west today?
"You’re my wife; it’s not a big deal for me to give you a gift," Rong Mochen said coolly.
Jin Jumo chuckled softly, closed the box, and said to him, "I really like it. Thank you, hubby."
Rong Mochen’s dark eyes half-squinted, he said nothing.
Back at the hotel from the restaurant, Jin Jumo had just finished showering when she was pinned against the wall by someone with forceful possession, without any foreplay.
Jin Jumo felt a bit dry, and with his size, even if she was well-prepared, it would be enough for her to endure, not to mention...
Jin Jumo’s fingers trembled as she clutched his arm, raising her moist Taohua eyes to glare at him accusingly.
Rong Mochen’s relentless approach was just like he’d taken some powerful aphrodisiac, his eyes entirely red.
It was destined to be a sleepless night.
Finally, he let her go. Jin Jumo was completely unconscious and fell into a deep sleep as soon as she closed her eyes.
Jin Jumo slept straight until four in the morning, waking up hungry.
The bed beside her was empty. Jin Jumo rubbed her forehead, struggling to get up from the bed, put on slippers, and went to the living room to find something to eat.
Rong Mochen was standing on the balcony outside the living room on the phone. Hearing footsteps, he turned around to glance inside.
Their eyes met unexpectedly, and Jin Jumo paused, then turned her head with some resentment.
Rong Mochen slightly lifted his thin lips, ended the call quickly, and walked in from the balcony.
Jin Jumo only found purified water and an apple in the fridge. Seeing Rong Mochen come in, she frowned and whispered, "I’m hungry."
"Not eating for a day and a night, you should be hungry." Rong Mochen said lightly, then walked to the phone beside him and dialed the hotel service number to order food.
After ordering, Rong Mochen looked at Jin Jumo, seeing her standing motionless, her bright Taohua eyes looking at him in disbelief, a soft smile flashed across his dark eyes. He stepped forward, took her hand, and led her to sit on the living room sofa.
"You say I haven’t eaten for a day and a night?" Jin Jumo was astonished.
Rong Mochen took the purified water from her hand, opened it for her, and handed it back.
Jin Jumo frowned, took the water, and drank a couple of sips in a daze.
"Want more water?" Rong Mochen asked softly.
Jin Jumo shook her head.
Rong Mochen took the water from her hand and drank from the bottle.
Watching Rong Mochen, who seemed unfazed drinking the water she had drunk, Jin Jumo’s face still turned red.
Rong Mochen placed the water on the coffee table, looked at her gently from the side, "Today is our third day in Paris."
What?
Jin Jumo tightened her grip on the apple, staring at Rong Mochen in shock.
Rong Mochen curled his lips and ruffled her hair.
But Jin Jumo angrily brushed his hand away, "Even a head pat won’t work! Rong Mochen, you can’t... do that anymore in the coming days."
"Do what?" Rong Mochen looked at her leisurely.
Jin Jumo’s face turned an unusual shade of red, half angry and half embarrassed, "We came to Paris to have fun. Half of our seven-day trip is almost over, and we haven’t even gone anywhere!"
Rong Mochen was unconcerned, "Aren’t there still four days left?"
"..." Jin Jumo choked, looking at his indifferent expression, forced herself to swallow her words down, and deflatedly said, "Alright, four days left, so for those four days, you can’t continue like this."
"Continue like what?" Rong Mochen squinted, his thick eyelashes hiding the mischief that flashed in his eyes.
"In any case, you’re not allowed!" Jin Jumo’s ear tips were burning, and she glared at him sideways, huffing quietly.
Rong Mochen shrugged slightly, not responding.
Soon, the hotel delivered food to the room. Jin Jumo started eating greedily, not even noticing when Rong Mochen put down his bowl and chopsticks in the middle of eating and went to the bedroom.
Jin Jumo ate three small bowls of rice, finally filling her stomach that had been empty for a day and a night. She was contentedly sipping soup from a small bowl when his rich and magnetic voice suddenly came from the direction of the bedroom, "Little Mo."
"Hmm?" Jin Jumo immediately looked towards the bedroom.
"Come in for a moment," Rong Mochen said.
"Wait, I’ll come after I finish this soup," Jin Jumo said, hastily sipping a couple of mouthfuls, then picked up a napkin to wipe her mouth before heading towards the bedroom.
Just reaching the bedroom door, the sight before her almost made Jin Jumo’s nosebleed; her legs froze on the spot.
Who would have thought he had only gone back to the bedroom halfway through the meal to take a shower?
Who would have thought, at this moment, he was only wrapped in a small towel, just barely covering the important parts, but actually... not really, because the bulge was too eye-catching!
Jin Jumo’s lips parted slightly, looking at his dark eyes with a hint of moisture, feeling like a spark had quietly ignited in her heart.
And the words that followed were the real killer for Jin Jumo, as he said, "I can’t find my underpants, help me look for them."
"..." Jin Jumo immediately covered her nose, her gaze uncontrollably slipping to a certain place, so, he wasn’t wearing anything underneath?
Wasn’t this forcing her to commit a crime?
Jin Jumo bit her lower lip, it was no use, if it’s a crime, so be it! After all, he’s not a stranger!
As a result, for the next four days, Jin Jumo couldn’t take a single step out of the hotel!
Sitting on the return flight, Jin Jumo suddenly realized, not everyone could handle the consequences of that romantic dinner! She had paid quite a "bloody" price for it!
